I visit my friend each week. Various days, on every occasion the staff are so friendly and professional with the up most care. I have totally confidence in Brook House. The new House Manager has made a great improvment.

Manager has an open door policy. Staff are very friendly Meals always look appetising. Dad took a while to settle but is now settled and happy to be living here. Room is always clean.

Brook House is a wonderful care home. My mother has been a resident nearly 3 years. I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible compassionate care that my mother receives. The dedicated team of staff truly understand her needs and are always on the end of the phone, if I have any questions. Knowing that she is in such capable and caring hands gives me great peace of mind.

My daddy has been living at Brook House Care Home and I couldn't be happier with the care and love he receives there. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that this was a special place. The staff are incredibly kind, compassionate and attentive. They treat every resident with respect and dignity, taking the time to truly understand their needs and preferences.

Our grandad stayed at the Brook House Care Home during November.The deputy manager was very helpful when arranging his stay. All carers have been very friendly and professional and he wouldn’t mind staying again in the future if necessary.

Brook House is honestly one of the loveliest places you could ever leave a loved one in someone else's care. The staff work incredibly hard and do their absolute best to ensure every resident is completely cared for. They go above and beyond and look like they are having fun at the same time! I could not recommend this home enough, the deputy manager is outstanding and committed to providing the highest quality of care.

The team at Brook House Care Home were fantastic at caring for my mum during the time she stayed there. Without exception, the whole team are so caring and compassionate towards the residents. My mum had dementia which the team managed expertly. I wasn't local so unable to visit frequently but the team were great at keeping me informed and I could see the organised activities via social media. Liaison with the local GP and hospital was also excellent. It was a huge reassurance and comfort to the family that Mum was so well cared for.

Putting my mum into a care home has been very stressful for the family, but the staff at Brook House helped enormously. They have been very caring and attentive to my mum. Nothing seems too much trouble. They look after her with dignity and respect. They take time to get to know Mum and to calm and reassure her when she seems distressed. Little things mean so much, like plaiting her hair, sitting with her and stroking/holding her hand. Thank you.

I needed a care home for respite following an injury in a road traffic accident. From my first approach, the tone of the response here was friendly and helpful and also pragmatic, as I had and still have no idea how long recovery will take. They were much more flexible than the other place I had contacted. The staff are really caring, which makes for a warm, homely atmosphere - everyone seems to have a serious commitment to doing a good job in all departments. For various reasons, I am room bound at present - so have not sampled activities yet or other facilities.

My mum has been in Brook House Care Home since the start of December 2022. Putting a parent into care is not an easy task. I was wracked with guilt and worry about getting her there because mum had always said she would never go into a home, but the staff here made the transition so easy and were brilliant from my initial visit, right through to the admittance day and ever since. The admin staff are superb, calling to keep you informed as needed, thank you to them. Naturally, the other members of the care team are absolutely superb too, keeping residents busy, entertained, fed, and on top of whatever particular needs they have. I have seen them with my mum and with other residents and cannot fault them in any capacity. I simply cannot express my gratitude enough to everyone at Brook House. You are all a credit to your profession and worthy of recognition and recommendation.

My mum has been in Brooke house care home for more than six months and she has been well looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful. Mum likes her dinners. It may not have the most updated interior, however, the care my mum gets is great and I can’t fault the home or staff. Thank you.

I have always found Brook House staff extremely helpful, caring and conscientious. They contact the doctor whenever necessary, keeping me informed of any medical issues. I commend Brook House and its wonderful staff who have battled with great compassion through the recent pandemic under immense pressure. Huge respect for them all!

My dear sister became a resident in Brook House Care Home just a couple of weeks ago and already I have seen a positive change in her demeanour and appearance. On our visits, we have witnessed the staff interaction with my sister and it has very much impressed me. I've seen photographs of her on social media from the Brook House Care Home website and they have filled my heart with joy seeing her and others participating in activities. It's such a worry knowing your loved one is away from home, in a strange place and she doesn't know why. I am very impressed that the staff treat the residents with respect and affection and try their best to keep them active. I would like to say a huge thank you to you all for doing your best for my sister. Kind Regards

My daughter and I attended the jubilee garden party and were so pleased we were able to and to meet some of the staff that previously we have only had telephone conversations with. The garden party was very well organised and it was a real pleasure to see the residents in a pleasant situation and enjoying themselves and we hope there can be future occasions such as this. The music chosen was such an excellent choice, as most of the residents remembered the tunes from so long ago and it was just lovely to see them singing and dancing along in their way. The staff are so caring to both the residents and their families and this is made more evident in settings such as this. The staff obviously work very hard as in the almost eighteen months that my husband has been at the home, it is always very clean and tidy and we appreciate that this is not always so easy. Due to the nature of the illness, it's not always clear what is in their minds.

The staff are helpful and friendly. The meals are brilliant. Lovely garden. Plenty of areas to sit in the sun or shade. The room isn't big, but adequate for needs. The manager is friendly and approachable.

Brookhouse, has always welcomed me when I've arrived for visiting. They have kept us informed of any medical problems as they have arisen and had them dealt with immediately by medical practitioners, accordingly. The staff are always pleasant and smiling and attend to mum's needs as efficiently as they can. The home is clean and tidy most of the time, but the laundry is a bit of an issue, even though clothes are labelled, they end up in the wrong rooms and are screwed up. Mum's drawers are always in a mess, annoyingly.

The team have always been very tentative, patient and caring with my mum who is certainly not always the easiest resident to care for. They also are always willing to help me make the best of the times I have to visit.

Thank you to all of the team at Brook House who have worked so hard during this pandemic. The care and dedication to the residents has been above expectations. It must be difficult to provide this service with all the precautions and changes of guidelines which has been enormous. Keeping the residents and visitors safe is priority, I believe they have and continue to do so. Their area set up for visual contact and two-way communication is so good and helps both the residents and visitors. A medal for the person who thought that up. Thanks again to all who keep our loved ones safe, comfortable and supplied with excellent meals.
