Always find the staff are friendly and helpful and supportive to my father, also keep me upto date if any changes to my dad, the care seems to be good, if any problems they listen to issues and try to sort them quickly.
My mother has been in Primrose Croft for several years now, from day one all staff have been very friendly towards Mum and all of the family visiting Mum. Activities are very frequent and they all seem to enjoy the interaction with others and staff. I know most of the staff by name and I would not have a bad word said to any of them, they are all fantastic. Only one critique, clothing has gone missing on more than one occasion.
Very grateful to the amazing, patient and hard-working team at Primrose Croft for all their diligent care and continuing support of our relative. The activity photos shared are heartwarming and reassuring. Nice to be kept informed and to know our relative is receiving the care they need at this time.
My mother and her partner moved to Primrose Croft end of January. The care they have received from day one has been amazing. All staff are caring and communication to family is exceptional. The management are always visible and available to answer any questions. Very pleased with all aspects of the clean friendly home created at Primrose Croft.
In general the care home is very good. We have recently noticed that our mother's clothes have gone missing the clothes we brought at Christmas. New blue coat she has never worn has gone. All her clothes have her name or initials in them. Communication is really good, and staff members lovely. Need more staff though as at times, staff seem very sparse.
My father has been in Primrose Croft since July 2023. They do everything they can to enable him to maintain independence whilst also ensuring he is safe and healthy. He is not always the easiest person to please but all the staff are kind, patient and good-humoured. They are happy for family and friends to visit anytime (within reason!), so what you see is what you get. When there have been any issues or concerns, I have been informed immediately, and on the one occasion I was worried about something, they were open to feedback and very quick to address... you couldn't ask for more.
My mum is very happy and well cared for in Primrose Croft. The carers are excellent (10+++). Can't praise the care home or its carers enough. The staff always make us feel very welcome. Top care home.
Pleased with the care my sister is getting at Primrose Croft.
I am very happy with the care my mother is receiving. She is looking very good for her age. Lovely place.
My husband has settled into Primrose Croft really well. The staff are absolutely brilliant. I would highly recommend this care home. The staff keep me well-informed on his health and care. All the residents are cared for and looked after brilliantly.
Very clean and comfortable home, very homely. The staff are lovely, friendly and professional, you can see they really care about the residents and give them all the care that they need. Couldn't ask for a better environment and care home for my father.
Been there three years now, with her dementia, she is still confused about where she is and wants to go and live with her Mum. l am always kept informed about any incidents that occur, no matter how minor which gives me peace of mind to know that she is well looked after. Deep down she really enjoys it there as she has company and likes the banter with the staff. If l have any questions there is always a member of staff available to speak to.
My father was a resident at the home for just over a year before he sadly passed away this month. Living at a distance from him and choosing a care home for him during lockdown was difficult. However, I felt I chose very well with Primrose Croft. It wasn't going to be easy for him to settle into a care home, I was astonished at how quickly this happened. I felt this was down to the kindness, patience and care of all the staff, making him feel he was part of a big family. They made him laugh and nothing was too much trouble. Living at a distance they kept me informed of his well-being, facilitated me to speak to him often and when I did visit the staff were always very accommodating. I will be forever grateful.
Mum has dementia and has only been at Primrose Croft for 2 weeks but seems to be settling in quite well. She enjoys the activities and especially loves singing. The staff are always happy to stop and chat about her progress.
Very happy with the care of my mum, staff are friendly and keep myself and siblings updated with Mum's care. If Mum has any health concerns someone contacts me straight away, love to see via social media the activities that the residents have provided for them. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming, thank you.
My mum has been at Primrose Croft for just over a year now and it is no exaggeration to say that the loving care and attention she has received in that time has transformed both our lives. Mum lives with dementia, and although she inevitably still has her bad days, she is so much more relaxed and happier since becoming a resident. The staff are friendly, kind and welcoming and keep me well informed. Knowing mum is safe and so well cared for has been a massive relief after struggling to care for her alone while living and working at a distance. Having her so close by and seeing her so content means the world to us both. Getting to know the staff, other residents and their loved ones also make us both feel part of a bigger family. I can't thank the staff enough for all they do with such empathy, care and respect.
Our mum has dementia and has been placed in to the care of Primrose Croft, as we were struggling as a family, as Dad, who has been her main carer has been taken seriously ill. The staff have been welcoming and supportive. Mum now enjoys new friends and activities and has now become a more relaxed person, which is a relief for us all at a very difficult time.
