View Full Details of Martham LodgeMy mother has been in Martham Lodge since April 2014. She is loved & cared for by all staff, some of whom still work there 10 years later. I am always appraised of her care and wellbeing including any changes made in her medication, in her, or anything else. As the home is an older building, it lacks en-suite bathrooms or latest mod-cons, but far more important is the love and care taken to ensure the happiness and comfort of all residents. Having just 20 residents means despite being a very busy home, there are sufficient staff to spend quality time with residents. My mother needs more personal care and attention than she did when she first entered and staff and management are happy to spend as much time with my mother as she needs with no sense of being in a hurry due to being busy. The staff work very hard to make residents happy. It is kept clean and individual tastes in food are catered for. Overall, I cannot fault Martham Lodge in any way and I am very happy my mother resides there.
The boat trip was a success and enjoyed by all, knowing the time and effort that it must have taken the staff - a big well done. Knowing this it would be so good if similar events might be arranged to help keep the residents interested and have a more normal existence. The staff are always very helpful caring and attentive and my mother always sings your praises.
The nursing home is very welcoming and the staff are very pleasant and informative. My friend has been here nearly 4 years and happily classes it as home. The meals look appetising and delicious. A very clean establishment. There is a beautiful large garden that is available for us to use.
I could not be more satisfied with the general care and kindness of every member of staff. My husband has been a resident for almost four years and to him it is home. Meals are of a very good standard with a good variety of choice and care if nothing suits.
