Since moving to Munhaven from a larger home my wife's appetite and spirits have returned. This small home provides an exceptional level of care to it's residents. The kindness and tolerance of the staff are remarkable. The atmosphere at Munhaven is warm and welcoming and I look forward to spending time there with my wife and the smashing staff!

The care provided to my mother in law has been excellent in every way. It is great that staff have taken time to get to know who she is and what she likes, even though sometimes she is very confused. The staff are always cheerful and friendly. They take everything in their stride, and always take the time needed to deliver a high standard of care even when my mother in law is being extremely uncooperative. When we visit, all the family are looked after. It is pleasant to stay and spend time at Munhaven without feeling like we are intruding.

Munhaven must be the care home to which all others aspire to be like. They have provided such amazing care for my father-in-law and our entire family and we are so grateful. The entire team are so caring and considerate, nothing is too much trouble. We have been completely overwhelmed by their support and kindness at such a difficult time. They genuinely care and it shows constantly. From providing us with food and cups of tea to keeping us fully updated and demonstrating a level of care I only dreamt of for my father-in-law. Thank you so much we won't forget you all.

My mother moved into this wonderful care home in June 2024 and settled in so quickly as the care staff and management are so kind. Her room is excellent, it's safe, and the garden is perfect to sit and walk in. The meals are simple but perfect. I can totally relax knowing Mum is happy. So pleased for her when visiting we get an honest welcome and information regarding Mum's wellbeing.

I am filling this in having discussed with the resident's sister. Exemplary home, immaculate, bright and cheerful. Cannot fault the dedication of the staff, very much a person-centred approach. All the resident's needs are met. Food excellent, all cooked on premises. The resident's sister requested that her bedroom armchair be cleaned, instead they replaced with a new (better) chair with a footstool. The ratings have been agreed by the resident's next of kin, whom I represent on behalf of the resident.

My mother became a resident a few weeks ago and the whole experience has been amazing when I was dreading it. The staff and management could not have been more supportive and caring. My wife and I have just attended a meeting this morning to discuss the home and their plans for this year to give my mother and the other residents an amazing time throughout the year which itself is great to feel included and again that they just care.

My mother-in-law has recently had some short respite at Munhaven Care Home and is now a permanent resident there. We have found all of the staff extremely kind and helpful and my mother-in-law has settled in extremely well and this is purely due to every single member of staff supporting her. We were very anxious about the move to a care home but the team has helped her overcome her anxiety about the move as well as ours. The care offered is very person-centred and my mother-in-law who has dementia appears to be happy and very well-settled. The care home itself is clean, bright and welcoming and you can see a lot of effort has been put into the areas for the residence including the outdoor space.

I couldn’t ask for a better care home for my Mum. Nothing is too much trouble. They genuinely show love, care, respect and support not only to my Mum but myself and my family. The staff are truly wonderful nothing is too much trouble. We were invited to a New Year's Party and honestly, it was amazing. All the food was home cooked including the bread and pork pies and we were treated like Kings and Queens. They know their residents so well and take into account their interests and needs. The staff bought personalised gifts for Christmas and birthdays. Nothing is too much trouble. My Mum was even taken to the pub with her best friend to enjoy time out. The staff are very flexible and will adapt and make changes to accommodate the residents. I was so touched to see a poorly resident lying on the settee with a pillow and blanket. Just like you would do at home. I feel truly blessed my Mum is in such a wonderful care home and I want to thank all the staff from the bottom of my heart.

When visiting Munhaven I found the home welcoming, friendly and the staff were always so polite and helpful. The home was also noticeably clean and tidy. It was a joy to visit my friend in Munhaven.

My father went into full-time care with Alzheimer's after seven years of me caring for him. I was very apprehensive. I must say he was so very happy here and ain the last few months of his lif I was so lucky to know how well and loved he was by all the staff. This is such a lovely home and the care is outstanding. We visited anytime, day or night and we were always welcome. Outstanding staff and home. Thank you.

I love everything about Munhaven. My mum gets such good care. All staff are friendly and kind, can't do enough to help both service users and family members. Munhaven is a very lively homely place to be. I enjoy my visits and don't want my mum to be anywhere else. I can't fault anything here. I feel content mum is getting everything she needs.

Staff are always very friendly and find time to talk. I know my nanny gets the best care for her needs. I love the singing and dancing from staff and residents and the attention my nanny gets. Very impressed with the manager, she is very attentive and puts our minds at ease with our nanny. She makes us feel very welcome.

I am so pleased that my mum has a home at Munhaven. In the three years she has lived there the staff have been wonderful, so kind and caring. Munhaven has a lovely atmosphere and when I visit I am made to feel welcome, the staff are so friendly and there are always plenty of activities going on for the residents to engage in. A special thank you to the cook, who cooks mum special pureed food.

We have just had a wonderful meal with my mother in this wonderful home. I have to say that my mum has settled really well here and is very happy. She is always clean and tidy and always says the food is delicious. Mum is extremely well looked after and we can relax knowing that she is well cared for and happy.

I cannot rate Munhaven care home highly enough. The staff treat the residents like family and the residents are cherished with every need met. The staff always have time to stop and chat, the food is delicious and the atmosphere calm and loving. The rooms are homely and the garden a delight to be in. Munhaven is at the heart of a very special community. In my opinion, it really is a home full of the very best care.
