Our dad is 93 with dementia and sadly had to go into a home. We were really worried about how dad would settle anywhere. We are really happy that he's in Broadland View because the staff have all been brilliant right from the start, even after a bumpy start for dad which was due to being somewhere different. All the staff are very friendly and caring. The residents receive brilliant care with all their needs cared for and most of all they are safe. Thank you, to the manager and your brilliant team.
All standards I have observed at Broadland View Care Home have been superb. The care home is well managed and all staff go the extra mile all the time. The carers attitudes are great where they are always willing to help and always have a smile on their faces. Keep up the good work.
Ever since my father has been a resident at Broadland View, he has been amazingly cared for in all departments! The staff at Broadland View are first class, and their attention to detail is second to none! They manage to keep the residents very well stimulated and more than meet their needs both emotionally and physically. My family and I are very happy with Dad's care and would recommend Btraodland View to anyone with dementia needs as they are really good!
My sister was transferred to Broadland View from the hospital and has settled very well. The care and staff are excellent. The home is very clean and well run, and my sister enjoys all the meals. As a visitor to her, I am very impressed with how well my sister is being looked after.
In the seven weeks since my husband moved to Broadland View, he has appeared happy and settled. Care has been excellent, and every effort has been made to get to know him and understand him and his needs. All staff have been friendly and welcoming to him and to all the family.
This is a lovely place. Manageress does everything got you. Carers are fantastic. Cook is fantastic.
Mum suffers from dementia, since living at Broadland view she has blossomed. Unfortunately, it has been hard to spend time with mum due to covid. The management and Carers have been amazing following all precautions. Mum is very happy and content living there, she is able to have her hair cut regularly and her nails and feet are looked after. They have great activities which we know mum joins in and enjoys especially the music. When we could visit we were made very welcome, the house is always clean and has a very homely feeling. The food is fantastic and they have a lovely dining room. There is a huge front garden with an area to sit with mum also a great courtyard out the back.
I think it's excellent. The people working here are without exception excellent, giving their all to make one feel at home and happy in old age. I have nothing but praise for this place. The food is superb!
Mum has been at Broadland View since September and from day one, the staff have been very caring and attentive to both Mum and me. Unfortunately, due to the Covis situation, I have not been able to visit Mum, but I am able to ring Mum whenever I want and have a chat with her. From what I have seen of the home, it was clean and tidy. It's great that they have activities, and I am pleased that Mum is joining in.
My wife and I are joint P.O.A for an elderly (89 yrs) friend who has experienced a couple of falls in her own apartment was deemed to require the care and services of a Residential Care Home. In selecting a home our priority was for a place that could offer a more individual level of care as opposed to one belonging to a large group of Care Homes. We have been able to move some of our friend's furnishings to her room in the Care Home which makes it feel like a home from home and she has settled well. Although Covid restrictions have prevented us thus far from visiting we know that she is being well looked after and has put on some weight. Contact with Management and members of staff via the telephone are always met with friendliness and support.
Our mother came to the home in June 2020 and from the start, was well received and extremely well treated. The staff know exactly who my mother is and are fully aware of the various conditions, medical and emotional needs. The home has a fresh, bright atmosphere, and the staff are always attentive not only to residents but visitors. We have without exceptions been warmly received and fully informed of any relevant developments to our mother's conditions and circumstances. We are really appreciative of all that is done for our mother's wellbeing.
It has been a very difficult decision for my sister and myself to make but we have made the right one. Mum went to Broadland View Care Home on the 10.08.2020. On arrival she was feeling quite poorly. The staff assessed the situation straight away and took control, they treated Mum with compassion, dignity and respect. Right from the beginning we saw the staff at their best. Mum has been at Broadland View for two weeks and she has settled in very well. She has a lovely room and all the staff are wonderful - nothing is too much trouble and everyone is happy. Mum is happy and relaxed. Thank you. As well as Mum being looked after superbly, you have also supported my sister and myself through a difficult time. I cannot praise you all high enough.
This place is better for me than a health spa. I feel this is more friendly and relaxing.
My mum moved into Broadland shortly before the COVID pandemic got underway, which was obviously a total nightmare - both for her as somebody who had lived independently all her life - and me, her daughter, watching from afar as the situation unfolded. The staff at Broadland were amazing and went out of their way to try and ensure that the residents were kept safe and well and - as importantly - were well cared for during this difficult and unpredictable time. The manager was always available to have a chat and provide up to date information on what was happening. It's been such a difficult situation and I felt very reassured knowing that mum was in such good hands. Putting someone you love dearly into a home is one of the hardest things you can do, so receiving this support from the manager and her team has been invaluable.
