Staff do not inform relatives of any medical issues or hospital appointments. Staff take residents out into the community in their wheelchair without thought for their health and safety as do not use lap belt to stop them falling out. Also, residents know staff's personal business.

The main concerns are not being washed properly and feet not being washed regularly. A particular hot milky drink is not always given at night. Waiting too long for carers to answer the call bell. Some staff are not always aware Mum is not able to see and do things herself. Being told at night to wait for a toilet visit as they are busy. Overall my sister and I are happy with Mu's care. Thank you.

When visiting the care home, always feel really welcome. A lovely manager who's always friendly and welcoming. All staff are professional, helpful and polite. A great care home. Always feel welcome.

I visit every day, visiting my mum. There is always a warm welcome from everybody, they deliver the best care and support anybody could wish for. Fantastic home and staff.

Lovely staff and carers etc are just lovely. The care is very good and always listen if we have any worries regarding our brother. Staff put on such wonderful entertainment for the residents and the manager is simply the best. A very caring home all round. Brings happiness to so many. Kind regards.

Thomas Tawell House is a wonderful home. The residents are happy and well looked after. They have lots of entertainment and residents and family are made very welcome. We have just had a wonderful carnival day with residents and staff dressed up. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff.

I have nothing but praise for the carers and administrative staff of Thomas Tawell House. My wife has been a resident here for four months and seems to have settled in smoothly. As a regular visitor, it is clear to me that my wife is as contented and happy as her health condition allows.

We have been very happy with Thomas Tawell House. My mum has settled and made lovely friends. The staff are very caring, and helpful and treat all residents with respect also making us a family very welcome.

I am happy with all the staff. All the meals I have had are alright, visitors can come at any time. The home is very clean, my room is quite spacious. Since arriving, all the staff have helped me settle in but there are odd times to be collected with a wheelchair to have my breakfast or lunch and tea times.

Pleased with all care given, staff are all friendly and lovely. I am very happy at Thomas Tawell House Care Home and there are always plenty of activities.

I have regularly visited my friend, who is a resident at your care home, and my experience when visiting has always been good. There was a period when we did not visit but have now resumed visiting and it is still a good experience. Thank you for looking after my friend.

The home is clean and welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have good quality meals and entertainment is quite frequent. A pleasant home where care is the top priority.
