View Full Details of Innisfree Residential Care HomeMy mother is living in Innisfree. In October 2024 my mother and father arrived at Innisfree. The staff welcoming and keen to accommodate our needs. The building of Victorian build is quirky. designed as a home and warm. I have been able to freely dress the given room and now feels like home from home. The most positive comment - the Owner, Managers, Care staff, Chef, cleaners, including a DIY gentleman have shown us the greatest respect/assistance and safety. I worked as a Sister/Senior Manager in Hospitals/Social Services. The staff give of themselves above and beyond the call of duty. My mother speaks very highly of all staff. Access to all multidisciplinary workers are available as required. My mother is settling in and enjoys the various activities presented each day and enjoys tasty home cooked foods. The care and support make leaving my mother very comforting. Thank you.
My husband and myself visit my mother in law, and when we do its always a lovely warm experience, which is not often said when visiting care homes. The atmosphere is very friendly not only to our mother but to visitors too. There is always a cup of tea and a biscuit plus a friendly chat. The staff are always very pleasant. I always compliment this care home to anyone who asks. I wish my own mum had been in a care home like this one.
Well run by staff and management nothing too must trouble always on hand. The staff are so caring and really care for the residents very homely homemade cooking so caring. Plenty of activities to keep the residents occupied always checking if they are all right. Clean and tidy all the staff on the go all the time.
A lovely warm atmosphere, friendly and supportive staff. Mum has been able to furnish her room with her own personal furniture making it homely and comfortable for her which has helped her remain settled and secure.
As soon as I walked into Innisfree I noticed a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive to the residents and very caring in their attitude to them. I felt that my husband would be safe and well looked after and I was happy to leave him here. Since then I have visited a lot and have always found my husband happy and contented. They are always friendly and welcoming to me too, which I appreciate very much.
Very happy with the way mum is being looked after. The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful and caring.
My mum was at Innisfree Residential Care Home from the hospital to be assessed. Faultless stay, lovely, incredible, caring staff. All residents looked really happy and the food is all homemade and delicious. Felt my mum was safe and cared for, sad for her to leave.
My mother has been with Innisfree for the last two years and has been well cared for. The staff are amazing in many ways, from knowing each resident really well to going above and beyond when needed. I feel confident in the care and attention my mum receives, and she is always clean, well-presented, and warm. It's not easy to move a loved one to a home, but you can tell from this that I've only had positive experiences. My father also suffered from dementia and was in a home, so I was aware of what my criteria were for selecting Innisfree and I'm happy I did. It's lovely to see her fed well and also enjoying the activities and entertainment. The team there always listen and has been a great comfort to me.
I am very happy with the care and lovely staff. My mother is very settled and happy here.
Innisfree has the warmth & feel of a much-loved family home with the residents at its heart! Over numerous visits, I saw first-hand the excellent level of care and attention this dedicated team of professionals provide. More importantly, Mum (who had Alzheimer's) settled in well, surrounded by her much-loved possessions, in a lovely en-suite room with a garden view to watch the birds. Mum was always treated as an individual, with patience, kindness, dignity and respect. She had a wonderful rapport with her carers who came to know her extremely well, and encouraged to take part in activities. Mum loved Christmas. The staff always go the extra mile. Their support was exceptional, and we were regularly informed of mum's health and well-being. From home-cooked food, safety, security and everything in between, Innisfree exceeded our expectations. During Mum's final weeks I was welcomed to stay, and in November 2017 she passed away, peacefully in my arms. To all at Innisfree I am truly grateful.
All the staff are friendly and approachable. They are very attentive to my father's needs and those of other residents. I am kept updated with any changes in Dad's needs. I always feel welcome and the home has an inviting atmosphere.
We have been coming to visit my mother-in-law for nearly 4 years and feel the care and consideration of the staff is first class.
My parents have been residents at the home for the last 7 years. The care is very personal and the support for the extended family is first class. When you look for care for loved ones, look beyond the décor and consider the care - that's the important bit.
I think that Innisfree is an excellent home. Given the management and care demands involved, there is a really noticeable optimism and caring atmosphere. As a son of a resident, I am treated with interest and courtesy and involved in discussions regarding care. Staff members are interested in her and respond to my mother as an individual and provide good physical care and work with her showing warmth and courtesy at all times.
During my 10 years of being a resident at Innisfree, I have obviously seen lots of changes - some good - some not so good, but overall this is a very easy going home. Quite a lot of activities take place, also seasonal parties ie Easter, summer, Halloween, Christmas, with plenty of food and drink. There is also bingo, quizzes, and outside entertainment for those who wish to join in. The average age varies from mid 70s - mid 90s, which consist of both male and female hairdresser, chiropodist and a laundry service is always available.
Staff are very very kind. They look after me well. I enjoy living here. I love my room, it's nice and clean. I have nothing to grouch about and I only speak as I find. As far as I am concerned, I receive excellent service, thank you!
