View Full Details of SerenitaI can't recommend this home enough!! The manager and his staff are all amazing. They treat my sister with dignity and respect and understand all of her little idiosyncrasies. She's been with Serenita for many many years and is happy and content here. The home is clean and tidy and bedrooms lovely with all facilities they'd need. Staff are very accommodating and their interaction with my sister is encouraging and comforting. We know she's in good hands.
My sister has been at the Serenita for over 12 years now and I am continually impressed by their knowledge of her needs, the level of care and kindness they show her. The staff are amazing and communication on all aspects of my sisters care is excellent. My sister can be quite challenging but the staff are so patient with her - they deserve medals in my view!
My time here has been great. The management and staff have been so important in my continuing recovery. Helpful, humorous, and very caring. My room is very comfortable and warm.
My son has been at Serenita for 5+ years. He has a loving caring supported environment to live in. Manager and staff treat him like family. His daily support and care needs are met. He is happy and I can go home knowing he is safe. This home has been a lifesaver for both of us.
My review was done on the care my son had received in total at Serenita, a Notaro Home, and the meeting for results in relations on 24th October 2024. The manager very usefully gave us the motion beyond the care and future plans, all reassuring. Unfortunately, only a few days later we received 2 letters notifying us of the sale of Notaro House to the Care Group. This could be very unsettling for both residents and relatives. There appears to be no consultation provided by the government, where funds are involved get notified.
Serenita has provided a safe and caring environment for my husband over the last 10 months. The staff are friendly and helpful and do all they can to assist my husband. There are lots of activities to join in with and they always try to encourage residents to take part in outings and things around the home.
Very pleased that my brother is here, its likely to have saved his life. I am happy he's joining in the activities and will hopefully make good progress.
My brother seems very happy here, I regularly ask how he's doing and is he okay living here, always the same answer, he likes the staff and is very comfortable. I visit often and like the fact that the staff are very helpful and friendly, I think it is a good place for my brother to be.
Great staff, understanding, empathetic and with love in their hearts. Grubs good too!
My son has settled so well at Serenita. He is cared for by very caring staff who know him on a personal level. He is expected to help with everyday choices, which he enjoys and is good for us to see him so included. The opportunities for activities and days out are brilliant. We always leave with both him and us smiling, knowing that his well-being is important to everyone at Serenita.
My brother is currently a resident at Serenita Care Home due to alcoholism. They have taken such wonderful care of him and us as a family, keeping us updated on his process, or if we call or email them, they are very quick to respond. My brother has made great strides while being at Serenita due to the programme they have put him on; they are truly kind, caring and professional in everything they do. Cannot recommend Serenita enough. Without them, we can't imagine where my brother would be now, certainly not in a good place. Thank you to the whole team, managers and all the staff; we are truly grateful to you all.
Staff extremely caring and friendly, but my son does nothing to help himself. He won't go swimming or on twice daily walks, I doubt he reads his daily newspaper or TV book. The staff have an uphill struggle to relieve his apathy.
I do admire the work all staff put into supporting their residents at Serenita. I am pleased to hear communal furniture is being upgraded and am especially glad new vehicles being bought too. What I would really welcome is more inclusion in care plans, possibly in the activities and progress of my friend! Currently, I hear nothing. Many thanks.
ARBD service users have significant challenges for many reasons. Despite this, the managers and staff listen to residents and try hard to respond positively to suggestions whenever possible. I would like to especially stress the deep understanding of this complex condition allowing the care to be sensitive, life-saving and kind.
Staff very helpful. Surroundings very good. Spacious room with loo and suit. Plenty of food.
Living at the Serenita was like living in a hotel. My mother took me to America, and we stayed at a hotel, Serenita was just as welcoming, clean, friendly and I enjoyed my time there. I wrote to Boris Johnson about my experience here.
Serenita has cared for my dad for 6 years. During that time they have provided a safe, comfortable environment for him to live. His needs are met with compassion and understanding. The staff do their utmost to keep me informed and have done amazing during the pandemic. They've kept my dad and the other residents safe and well cared for. I am truly grateful to them.
Serenita has a special understanding of my brother's particular condition and needs and I know of nowhere that he could receive better care. Staff are friendly and approachable. I have every confidence in Serenita.
My sister has been in Serenita for 5 years. The manager and her staff do an amazing job. I really can’t fault their kindness to service users and visitors.
My husband has been a resident in Serenita for nearly 2 years. He is always well presented, his room is always clean and free from odours. There is always plenty of activities on offer should he wish to partake. Food is always plentiful and I am always offered to join when I visit. Staff are helpful and there is always a senior member of staff available should I wish to discuss any areas of my husband's care.
