The staff at Cleeve Lodge look after Mum and treat her with kindness and dignity. I can rest, knowing she is safe and looked after. Mum enjoys the activities put on by the care home and particularly enjoys the trips out.

Mum moved into Cleeve Lodge approximately in March after living independently for almost 91 years. As mum's daughter, she would bed me not to ever put her in a home. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned and mum's mobility was failing which in turn meant she had frequent falls and was sustaining some awful injuries. Mum never ever wanted to go into a care home and would plead me to keep her in her home. Sadly this wasn't possible so we were lucky to get a lovely room in Cleeve Lodge. It has been the making of mum and she has never looked back. Her confidence is so much better and she is able to go up and down in the lift to her room, independently as many times as she wishes. She has made lots of friends, this being a major problem for mum when she lived only - desperate to see people. My honest review of Cleeve Lodge is one of a home full of angels, cannot fault the staff in any way. and they will do anything without making any fuss and it is done quickly. Also, the doctor is called so quickly should there be any concerns, however trivial it may seem. Mum has said that this is her home now and she won't ever go back to her former home. I believe this speaks for itself - excellent.

The team at Cleeve Lodge are kind, friendly and have really got to know mum and she enjoys chatting and laughing with them. She is able to walk to and from her bedroom which helps maintain her mobility.

Mum is very happy here - the staff are lovely and take great care of her - she was very reluctant to go into a care home but she loved it here and wouldn't want to go home. I have offered to take her 'home' but she simply isn't interested.

Just superb care, care support, and love for Mum with her developing condition. Outstanding in every single aspect/way for Mum - staff are just the best in the care sector. Outstanding, support, facilities, cleanliness, activities and professionalism by staff. Their love and care for Mum is absolute. Just the best there is. Thank you, Cleeve Lodge.

If you want the stress taken out of where you can find a kind and loving care home for your loved one in the Bristol/Staple Hill area then look no further than Cleeve Lodge Downend. As a family who does not live in the area, we didn't know who to turn to when an emergency care decision had to be made. From the moment we randomly contacted Cleeve Lodge, we had a good feeling. The staff were extremely helpful, no questions went unanswered. When it came to the time our loved one made the move to Cleeve Lodge, everything was taken care of. The staff dealt with the transition with kindness and dignity at the forefront. The move was earlier in the year and the change in our loved ones and the care they have received is almost beyond words. They are happy, clean, tidy, and above all thriving. Please don't hesitate to call Cleeve Lodge or drop in and visit, everyone is made so welcome. We are all so grateful to the wonderful team. Thank you all.

Since the passing of my sister the staff at the care home have been very helpful and understanding, with problems that arise, concerning my brother-in-law. They are always here for me when needed.

All is very satisfactory and Mum is happy which is the main thing. Her personal care is an issue as a lot of times mum has dirty clothes on as do a lot of the other service providers, they could go out more often and a lot of times her mobile is flat and I have to search for a charger. The food is basic but I guess that is what they like choice of sausage and chips or scampi and chips as the main meal of the day. I would like to see more fruit instead of cake.

We are very happy with the care at Cleeve Lodge, everybody is always well looked after and the staff are always smiling and laughing, it is clear they have good bonds with the residents. We are grateful for the activities and trips that our Grandmother/Mother has taken on and for keeping her safe and well.

The home has a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors are always welcome warmly and staff are always happy to talk about concerns you might have for your loved one. Residents are very well cared for with dignity and understanding, and there is a full calendar of activities. The staff at Cleeve Lodge work to a very high standard.

My mother has been a resident at Cleeve Lodge for two months but has been having daycare since March 2023. She is happy and wanted to move in to be with her friends, she loves the activities and trips. All the staff are friendly, kind and welcoming. I certainly have peace of mind that she is well cared for.

We would highly recommend Cleeve Lodge Care Home. Our mother was there for several years and we cannot fault the home and its staff at all. Everybody is so friendly and helpful and did everything they could to cater to Mum's needs. We were always kept updated regarding her health and the doctor called regularly. Mum enjoyed taking part in the activities and the entertainment was excellent. We are lucky we were able to settle Mum into this caring home.

Dad has received wonderful care and is always treated with dignity and kindness. There are always lots of activities and day trips, which everyone enjoys. As his needs have changed, everything possible has been put in place to support him. The staff are very friendly and helpful and have dealt with any queries promptly and professionally. I am very happy we chose Cleeve; Dad is content and very well looked after.

Thoughtful care was very much top of the agenda. Very personal attention to Mum's needs which made her feel comfortable and secure. She was allowed her own personal space and choice of joining in or otherwise any of the activities that were organised at the home.

The staff are so caring and helpful to my mum. I can’t fault the care she receives. Nothing is too much trouble. When Mum was a bit down recently they were great at doing things with her to try to cheer her up.

Amazing home! My aunt is always clean and tidy, as is her room. The staff are always willing to help or advise in any way. I know for a fact my aunt would not be here today if she hadn't taken residence at Cleevelodge. We wouldn't have coped without you! Thank you all.

Our mother has been living at Cleeve Lodge for the last 5 years. As a family, we cannot thank the staff enough for the care she received until she passed away last week. From the day she moved into the home her care has been amazing, being adjusted, as necessary, to her additional needs. There were always plenty of different activities for her to join in if she wanted to do so. The food has always been varied, tasty and plentiful. Whenever we visited, we were made extremely welcome. Over and above everything, the staff at the home are the reason for the success of the organisation and for our mother’s and our satisfaction with her care. Once again, our heartfelt thanks to everyone for caring so well for her.

This is the second care home Mum has been in. The difference between the two is night and day! She is very happy here, well looked after with wonderful staff. I would say 10/10. Very friendly, helpful staff and management.
