View Full Details of Faith HouseFaith House takes caring to a new level. I do not say this lightly. I have been receiving care since my accident a year ago, so I have experienced care in many different settings. From the first introductory phone call with the manager to the visit this morning when I was washed, dressed and had my breakfast prepared by my carer, every point of contact with Faith House has been joyous. In every interaction, without exception, I have been treated with respect, dignity and compassion. They focus on my well-being and happiness and I feel valued. In fact, they make me feel like a priority. They go out of their way to accommodate my changing needs and wishes. I have been assigned my own carer, ID and every day he goes above and beyond to make sure that my health needs are fully met, and he makes me feel positive, happy and valued. ID makes sure that I feel better about myself at the end of each visit than I did at the start. If there is an award for best Carer, then ID should win it.
Mum has now been in Faith House for over a year due to her dementia condition. From the initial contact to her moving in was a very smooth process and her transition into the home was a welcome relief to the family. She has a lovely, light spacious upstairs room with her own bathroom. The management and staff have been very friendly, caring and loving, with a very lovely manner towards mum. Their hospitality on every visit is a pleasure, we're always offered a hot drink! The home is run with impeccable professionalism and dedication and there is always excellent communication with the family. Once a quarter a 'Family Meeting' is held, this is an informal communication and feedback session (including refreshments) hosted by the management and owners for resident's families. Finally, Faith House has a family feel to it and staff who always go above and beyond to meet the needs of the residents.
