View Full Details of Beaumont Court Care HomeHaving recently placed my wife, who suffers from Alzheimer's, into respite at Beaumont Court Care Home for a short stay, I feel I should express my gratitude to the manager and the team who, from the outset, were excellent. The care, attention and the warmth everyone showed to my wife and myself was outstanding.
My sister, aged 92, has been at Beaumont Court Care Home for fifteen months and has been completely happy and settled. The staff are well-trained and show real dedication to the residents. Visiting, they never pass by without a cheery word to my sister which brings a smile and laugh. They show a clear understanding of the needs of their residents with severe dementia. They provide loads of stimulating entertainment throughout the week and are led by a wonderful lady who plans a variety of events they can partake in. She arranges visits by local people who bring an abundance of different talents and hobbies to amuse them. The staff levels ensure all aspects of care are provided whereby in total you would struggle to find one of equal standing in the area. Visiting, they are all more than helpful telephone calls are answered promptly and they provided me and my wife the satisfaction my sister is in good hands for which we offer a huge thank you. In other words, absolutely excellent!
My sister-in-law lived at Beaumont Court Care Home for the last year of her life whilst suffering from increasingly severe dementia. From the outset, she was made very welcome and was happy there. There were lots of reasons for this but the most important, by far, was the wonderful staff. The care delivered was of the highest standard by people who, without exception, were loving, empathetic and always had time to talk and listen. Her physical needs were looked after beautifully which cannot have been easy. All this meant that, at first, she showed really positive signs of improvement and her subsequent decline was in no way the fault of the home. They kept us fully informed of her progress and would telephone us if they had the slightest concern. We were made welcome whenever we visited which made us feel very comfortable and towards the end, we were assured we could visit at any time, day or night. A completely professional but relaxed home. I cannot find any fault at all and my wife agrees.
My Mum has been a resident at Beaumont Court for nearly two years and has been very well cared for over that time. All the staff members are very friendly, not only to Mum but to us as well, I do like a chat and a laugh and they always have time for me. We are kept up to date with her care especially whenever there has been a change in her medication or if there has been a problem. The meals are homemade and excellent, the portions are generous, plenty of snacks and drinks throughout the day too, my mum likes her food! Her ensuite room is clean, modern, a good size, bright and we can decorate it ourselves at Christmas and other special days if we want to as well. A lovely touch at Beaumont Court is that they organise a little tea party in Mum's room in the run-up to Christmas for us all. The communal areas are clean and I can make myself a hot drink if I want to, I'm always made to feel at home and very welcome. Overall we are very pleased with Mum's care at Beaumont Court.
Mum has been here for two years and I cannot thank all the staff enough for their care and compassion. Mum always looks clean and they make sure she is comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone as it is like a home from home. I am made to feel so welcome when coming here. It is a wonderful place and the staff are excellent.
Mum has been a resident here for just over two years. She has received excellent care at all times. The staff are truly wonderful and treat Mum with respect and dignity. I highly recommend Beaumont Court as it really is a home-from-home.
My aunt is very happy in her care home. She tells me each visit how happy she is and how comfortable she is in her room. The staff are all marvellous, they are so patient and caring. I feel we are both very happy. The food is very good too, on special family occasions the kitchen staff will put on a party tea for her and members of the family visiting her in her room.
A super caring bunch of staff. No job too big or small, always keep a smile on my mum's face and have the time to chat to me when I visit and always like to have a laugh. Would highly recommend this home. I'm so glad I took my mother out of the home that the council first put her in and ended up here. The fourth night that I was asked not to visit, at first, was well worth the hair-pulling wait to settle my mind. Room is always spotless and has great views of the garden. Can't say enough regarding this home.
My partner has been in Beaumont Court since July 2022. I find all the staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always willing to assist with any query and I am regularly offered a cup of tea which is always appreciated. My partner has her own lovely en suite room which is always spotlessly clean and tidy. She can have any pictures or personal items in her room that would make it feel like her own home. If there is any minor mishap during the day, such as a stumble or fall, I always receive a telephone call to inform me of this and to reassure me that all is well.
First-class care given to my wife. Her room is kept well and the staff are friendly and kind even when my dementia-troubled wife is difficult. The whole ethos is to provide a sympathetic ear to both residents and visiting relatives.
Mum moved into Beaumont Court from a care home in Surrey during the Covid lockdown period. It was difficult to see the home as we were only able to view it from the outside, but the staff we met at the time were extremely kind and obviously had a wealth of experience in caring with those living with dementia. We are so pleased we made the decision to move Mum to Beaumont Court, the care she continues to receive there is wonderful. The staff are patient, kind and caring not just to Mum and the other residents but to us as a family too. Although Mum lives with Alzheimer's and does not really have much understanding of what is going on she is happy, contented and extremely well cared for.
My 88-year-old mother moved into Cherry Tree House at Beaumont Court in Oct 2020 during the pandemic. She settled in very well and loved her new life there. The staff were kind, helpful and friendly and Mum loved them. A super airy room, being made to feel included and always being treated with patience, love and kindness, we were so fortunate to have found such a real home from home. All the birthdays, Christmas and special celebrations were enjoyed. As Mum’s health and mobility deteriorated she moved to Willow and received such wonderful care again but in a quieter, smaller house. She loved the staff, they loved her and what more can any family ask? She was so happy there. Mum passed away this week, surrounded by the compassion, care and devotion of the staff. It was a beautiful peaceful time as we were able to celebrate the happy memories they had of Mum living with them. Many thanks to the manager and the team at Beaumont Court, you should be very proud of yourselves.
It was a very difficult time having to take the decision to find a home for my Mother who suffers from Dementia. Beaumont Court and the staff who work there made the decision very much easier and when we visited the home Mother really liked it and she decided that was where she wanted to live. Due to Covid and the restrictions that ensued, it has not been an easy time for Mum, however, we have at least been able to visit and speak through the window as often as we liked. My Mother is a very physically fit lady despite her age, and likes to take a daily walk, though she is not allowed to walk out of the grounds of the home on her own, she has at least been able to take herself out for her daily walks around the beautiful gardens of the home. She tells me, though it isn't her own home she highly rates the food and comforts of the home and tells me the staff are lovely. We are very happy that she is so well looked after and cared for, not just physically but mentally as well.
These guys and girls have done everything to keep Mum safe and well, I am convinced that no more could have been done. A very strict regime of rules has ensured that Covid has so far been kept at bay. I have only seen Mum twice since March 2020 but that is fine with me as everyone is safe. All the staff have worked very hard in very trying times to care for and entertain the residents and the four years Mum has spent in the home have been good for her. This place has been an example to all on good managment and the ability to move quickly when things need to be dealt with. I would not have wanted my mum to be anywhere else. Thank you.
After having checked out several care homes with my partner for his mother, not one was a patch on Beaumont Court Care Home. From the second we walked in we knew this was where Mum needed to be. Bright, colourful, full of conversation and extremely loving towards the residents which was evident on the faces of both staff and residents. When Mum arrived she hadn't walked in nearly 12 months. Within days she was walking with a frame joining in all activities and loving every moment. Covid has been tough but the manager and her devoted staff have kept Mum entertained, happy and most importantly safe, with not 1 case of Covid in either the staff or residents. All of the team without exception are truly passionate about the care they provide and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Also, Mum says the food is amazing!
My 98-year-old mother has been at Beaumont Court for about 4 years, she is frail medically but fully competent mentally. My mother has nothing but praise for the staff and her care, she is never without company or stimulus if she needs it but also loves her room when a little solitude is required. Due to their diligence, they have remained covid free, through the entire pandemic, while still maintaining the highest standard of care. Neither my mother nor I, have had any concerns regarding her safety. The grounds are beautiful and in warm weather provide access for socially distanced visits. I am always kept fully informed if there is ever a health problem and find everyone very approachable and welcoming. I cannot speak highly enough of Beaumont Court it is a true home from home.
Totally unrivalled care and compassion, my Mom is completely happy, she has a lovely room, excellent food, amazing care and I can honestly say that in the 12 months she has been at Beaumont Court, she has gone from strength to strength. The wonderful people who look after her are completely dedicated to everyone in their care and can only be described as treasured friends both to my mom and myself and my partner.
My mother has been a resident for over 5 years. Moving my mother into a care home was probably the most difficult decision I have ever had to make. However, from the minute I walked into Beaumont Court I knew I was getting her the best that I could. I had visited several homes but never felt like they could be a real home for my mom. At Beaumont Court there was a "buzz" about the place, music was playing, there were chatter and laughter. Windows and doors were open, there was fresh air, the lovely garden and the rooms were spacious and airy. The staff are lovely, always so cheerful and caring. I have never had cause to regret my decision or my choice and would have no problem in recommending Beaumont Court to anyone struggling with this difficult decision.
My mother has been a resident of Beaumont Court since March 2018. Throughout her time there she has been looked after extremely well. During the three years, her needs have changed and everything has been done to make her life as comfortable as possible. The facilities are good and the staff are kind and considerate. During the recent period of Covid 19 restrictions, everyone has worked hard to keep my Mother safe and to facilitate contact with the family by phone and video calls. If there are any issues I am kept informed and I am always confident that everything possible will be done to overcome them.
Mother was very happy with her stay over Christmas and New year. As a family, we were also happy and relaxed; knowing she was being well cared for.
