The Green is a very pleasant home from home for my wife, when I visit I always get a pleasant hello from all staff who are all very caring and knowledgeable about their tasks. It is very nice. To know that when I leave she is well cared for and comfortable and I can relax in the knowledge that she is safe.

Dad needed a week where I knew he'd be safe and supported while we spent time away. From the first phone call, to initial visit, and then the stay, nothing was too much trouble. Dad was well fed, entertained, socialised, rested and very well looked after. When we came to pick him up, he was packed and ready to go. The staff were sad to see him leave and several residents said heartfelt farewells. Dad wants to go back again and I hope he can. Thank you all.

I am so delighted with the whole experience of visiting the care home. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I am always made welcome. The rooms are airy and smart. Always clean. The food is excellent and tasty. My husband has settled very well, and I know he is being looked after so well.

My father has settled extremely well into The Green. From the very start he has been calmer, had great company - staff and residents - which has enhanced his every day life significantly. There is always a calm, caring and inclusive atmosphere with activities for residents, lovely good and opportunity to socialise or reside in calmer rooms. The home is always tidy, clean and many staff available and on hand. Some outside activities may contribute to the well being of residents and staff making the environment a top establishment!

Mum is brilliantly cared for at The Green Residential Care Home. She is treated with kindness and dignity by all the staff. Every time I visit I am made to feel welcome. Mum tells me she is happy to be at The Green. The staff keep me up to date with Mum's health conditions. I really cannot fault the staff and the way they look after Mum. I can sleep easy knowing she is so well cared for. Thank you!

The Green Residential Care Home is excellent, all the staff are lovely and go above and beyond for all the residents. The atmosphere is always lovely and everyone has always got a smile on their face. Every time I visit my nan she always tells me how happy she is, films she's watched and activities she has done. She has made lots of friends which is lovely for her.

Very polite and welcoming, listening to our concerns about Mum. Most of the care staff have been very caring towards Mum, making conversation even though she may forget what she was talking about. Cleanliness is excellent. Mum is always clean and tidy.

I am very happy here, they treat me with respect and everyone is most helpful, listen to my troubles when I'm a bit down, everyone looks after me very well, nothing is too much trouble for me.

The staff at The Green do a wonderful job of being professional and caring, all with a sense of humour. The facilities offer large open-plan areas where the residents can walk around as well as smaller more private lounges if they are looking for somewhere quieter. There's an ongoing programme of refurbishment which is continuing to improve the decor and furnishings. The entertainments are varied and suitable. I think the care being offered is about as good as it can get. I would hope that eventually more rooms could be offered with en-suite facilities but I understand the expense and logistics in upgrading an existing building can make that difficult.

Mum is very happy at The Green. The staff are so friendly and caring. I have never been to a home so welcoming. Mum is kept clean and the doctor visits regularly. The facilities are good, the hairdresser etc. I found knowing who everyone was at the start difficult but this has improved greatly over time.

When visiting my father, I have witnessed excellent interaction by the staff with all the residents. All staff are very friendly and do not shy away from any request to assist my father. Every day there are different activities which he is encouraged to join in with. Poor communication whilst dealing with head office. Difficulty trying to get through.

My mother is treated respectfully. Staff listen to her and engage in conversation as they perform their duties. Their cheerfulness encourages her to be happy and content. She is fully supported, though encouraged to perform the actions she is able to complete for herself. I visit frequently but have been way at times and on my return my mother has been extremely well cared for, I must admit that I have been pleasantly surprised!

My mother has thoroughly enjoyed her 2 week respite at The Green. The staff have been absolutely fantastic, so welcoming and caring. The home has been transformed over the last year and is now a wonderful home, clean and good facilities.

As a family, we have always been made to feel very welcome and part of The Green Family. My father is treated with humour, care and at all times dignity. Although he doesn't always understand where he is or why. He mostly appears settled and happy in his surroundings. There has at times been an abundance of agency staff who though excellent carers obviously are not as familiar with their charges as permanent staff. This issue is being addressed successfully. I am very pleased with the support care and love my father is receiving.
