View Full Details of Brandon HouseThey look after me very well, whenever I go out they always make sure someone is waiting to greet me when I come home. My carer always makes sure he brings me a cocoa at night and a coffee before breakfast. I am very happy here, the next best thing to being able to live on my own, which I know I cannot do.
Since mum has been in Brandon House she has improved dramatically. Happy, and laughing but mostly her mobility has greatly improved as she is given time and support by the staff. All the staff are approachable and they interact with the residents well. We as a family are extremely happy with Brandon House.
My Nan has recently moved here and she is a new person. Her face looks brighter and I'm able to leave knowing she's going to get looked after by the brilliant staff here. Would most definitely recommend!
Brandon House, what a fantastic facility, my mother came here needing quality care and that's what she gets and more! The environment is very bright, warm, homely and welcoming. The staff are ever present, friendly and efficient. The food is top notch and plentiful. Every day there are activities which all the residents can participate in. All in all my mother has settled in very well and is definitely enjoying life.
My mother moved to Brandon House in January. Her transformation over the past 6 weeks has been remarkable. She is happy and content due to the love, care, support and comfort that staff at the home provide. The management team and staff are very welcoming to all family members. Any concerns are discussed and resolved immediately. My mother is now more mobile than she has been in months since moving to Brandon House. Staff ensure my mother is kept clean and tidy. She is spoken to with the utmost respect and encouraged to join in with activities. I would recommend Brandon House to anyone looking for a residential placement.
Brandon House have been lifesavers for my wife as she had to put her parents in respite because she hurt her back and couldn't cope. They took all the stress out of our lives by being so great to my in-laws, mother-in-law has dementia and she settled straight away, couldn't believe it. I just want to recommend Brandon House to anyone struggling being a carer because they are fab.
I don't know what I would have done if it wasn't for all the staff at Brandon House. I care for my parents and I injured myself and had to place them in respite, I was so worried and upset that I had to do this but I needn't have been. My parents were greeted like old friends from everyone there, and I can visit and take them on day trips anytime I want, I also get a coffee and a cheeky biscuit as well. It's like visiting a huge family and my mum is so happy there that she wants to stay. I give all the staff praise and thanks for making my life so much better, easier and happier. Thank you thank you thank you.
From day one, all of the staff have been amazing. They are extremely friendly, very caring and attentive to the resident's needs, an absolute credit to their profession. Mum loves living at Brandon House. It's a real home from home. Beautiful place, beautiful atmosphere, beautiful people. Thank you all so much for what you do.
My friend is cared for in a friendly, kind, professional way. Her room is spacious, light and has every facility she could wish for.
My wife has Alzheimer's and I get little feedback from her that is reliable but from regular visits, I find the staff very friendly and caring. Much care is taken with the very varying and difficult needs of the residents.
My mother was unusually unreceptive to me. When I raised this with the caregivers that morning, she agreed with me that she was being "out of character and reassured me that she'd eaten well but was obviously still unwell due to a very recent attack of shingles. All staff are usually very welcoming and willing to discuss any concerns. Brandon House is in all areas I have seen to be clean, bright and well decorated, including for yearly events, e.g., Christmas, etc.
My mother has been at Brandon House for over two years and over that time we have found the staff to be friendly, very caring and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and a reasonable size and there is an en-suite toilet and wash basin. The garden is lovely although sometimes with direct sun it is hard to find shade, but at these times the courtyard affords some shade. There is a lift to the first floor as well as a stair lift although the latter is very slow. Overall, this is a warm friendly atmosphere and my mother feels well looked after.
Lovely property with gardens back and front providing quiet and safe outdoor space for residents, the atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly. Lots of effort by staff to provide stimulating activities morning and afternoons. My mother's quality of life has improved since she has become a resident. We have peace of mind knowing she is being so well cared for.
Mum moved to Brandon Care two years ago, she is very happy there. Mum has Alzheimer’s and can have some very difficult and challenging days, but the staff are very well trained, compassionate and understand how to help her. The staff are amazing with her and she is very well looked after and cared for. I cannot fault the standard of care she receives. The staff always take time to talk to and reassure us if we are concerned about her, especially if she’s having a bad day and will phone us back with an update. They always make birthdays and seasonal occasions special, mum loves her personally designed birthday cake made by the amazing staff.
My father moved into Brandon House a couple of months ago, due to being diagnosed with Dementia a few years ago. On arriving at Brandon House all the staff were very professional and welcoming to myself and my father. We were shown to my fathers room which is beautifully decorated and bright. Staff were very kind and introduced themselves to father and myself. Now three months later my father is happy and looks well, this is due to the excellent care that he is receiving from the staff that take care of him every day. It is a pleasure to go to see my father and feel welcome every time I visit and know that he is safe. As for the management never is too much for them and any queries I have, they are dealt with in a professional manner always.
My partner has been a resident of Brandon House for the past 9 months and I only have praise for the home and its staff. The circumstances of my partners having to go into care were quite traumatic for us both but it was all made so much more pleasant by the compassionate staff and their willingness to communicate. Once I was able to visit the home to see my partner I was so relieved to see how content he was and how well he was being looked after by such sweet-natured caring staff. Brandon House is a lovely, beautifully maintained residential home and it is always a pleasure to visit.
A caring family-run home that I would recommend. This friendly home to all my friends in need of a dementia-friendly home.
As a family, we were recommended to view Brandon care facilities and meet the owners and staff. We have been extremely impressed by their care and professionalism on every level. We feel our mum is in very good hands and has been very well cared for through the Covid period.
My Mum has been a resident for six years at Brandon House. Over this time she has had ups and downs emotionally and all the staff, both management and carers have helped to bring her mood up and encouraged her to mix and interact with other residents. She is so happy there, which makes me happy obviously. Without the staff a Brandon I doubt she would be with us now.
Mum has been a resident at Brandon House now for almost three years and has had and continues to have excellent care. She has a good-sized en-suite bedroom with plenty of storage for her personal things. There is a good wholesome menu of meals she can choose from each day and a sociable dining area to eat in with the friends she has made. A comprehensive programme of activities to keep the body and mind active. Staff are caring and approachable. Brandon House was recommended to us, and we can only wholeheartedly pass that on to you.
