View Full Details of Cheverells Care LtdCan only thank all the staff for the wonderful love and care extended to Mum over the last 2 years. The home is well run, spotlessly clean and friendly. Set in lovely gardens the home has a relaxed atmosphere and seems to attract the most caring staff. It is never easy having to decide to put a relative into care but their care extends to the whole family, which made the transition a good deal easier. Would highly recommend.
Cheverells is a warm and friendly care home, always clean and tidy with a relaxed atmosphere. As a regular visitor to my mother in law I have always been made to feel welcome and kept up to date with her activities and medication and they will always phone me if they're concerned for her welfare. I am always happy with the care they give her, especially the extra effort the management and staff put in to help with celebrations for her 100th birthday. The residents always seem cheery, have regular activities and are given monthly news sheets to keep them up to date, which they have the opportunity to take part in if they wish.
I find Cheverells a very friendly place. Welcoming staff always smiling and helpful. I would recommend which I have to friends.
We have no hesitation in recommending this care home. So far we have no issues with this care home. We find all the staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient.
The care home is beautifully maintained and there is an immediate, welcoming feel as you approach the hall. Such care and attention are given by the staff and the owner makes such an effort to see that everything is carried out to her very high standards. Nothing is too much trouble and over the past 32 years, there has been many extensions and improvements to the home itself. Certainly a tremendously high standard.
I am very happy and pleased with the care my mother-in-law is having at Cheverells Care, it is a pleasant and comfortable home with excellent food and good medical care. This all puts my wife's mind at rest and for the future a place which we can call home for our old age. Mother's 101 in March 2017 and very happy to have the Queen's Birthday Card. We are looking for the same treatment for we are shaw we would be comfortable there.
Cheverells is a delightfully comfortable home for my mother with excellent staff and a very caring environment. It is clean and comfortable the food being well balanced and nutritious and she is about to celebrate her 101 birthday in March this year (2017) it speaks for itself.
Management and staff go above and beyond the call of duty shown to their residents. It is a warm and friendly atmosphere and has all the home comforts of being in ones own home. We are always made very welcome when we visit my sister-in-law. We would have no hesitation to recommending Cheverells Care Home to anyone!
After a fall, my mother could not live alone. Aged 98 she is fiercely independent, so it is a real adjustment. I visited 2/3 times a day. I cannot praise too highly the wonderful care, support, understanding and respect. Management and staff are brilliant, treating each resident as an individual. The whole ethos puts the residents foremost. My siblings and I get peace of mind knowing Mum is in such good hands. She needs a low fat diet; it is seen to well. Meals and snacks are very good, well served; the portions, ample. There are different activities. While many residents pass time in the TV lounges, it is not through lack of alternatives. I was lucky to be there during a surprise staff fire drill, designed to be realistic, just as lunch was being set up. I was struck by staff speed and responsiveness. I felt that had it been real, everyone would be seen to. Until my recent retirement, I was a health lawyer and bioethicist, so my comments come from a knowledgeable background.
I visit this home to take books and CD's to residents. They are always very welcoming. The residents always look happy and content. There are always activities on after when I go and a good variety to try to encourage the residents mobility, socialisation and keep their minds active. Residents are treated with respect and family members welcomed.
