View Full Details of The Court Retirement ResidenceEvery time I visit Mum. She is clean, well-fed, warm and happy. Her room is lovely and has a beautiful view. The staff are always warm and friendly. I am so pleased my mum is where she is. Could not have wished her to be anywhere else.
My Nan had been a resident at The Court for over a year, the whole team has been amazing. They gave her such good care and companionship, took her out so she could go to church, got her involved in all activities and kept her spirits up. Nan was very happy during the time she stayed there and that's all down to the manager and her team, nothing was too much trouble for them and they were more than helpful to me and my family as well. It's a lovely home with beautiful grounds and I would recommend them to anyone.
My uncle has been at The Court for around 2 years now, whenever I visit he appears content and happy. He always tells me how lovely the staff are, and that he enjoys his food. The staff are always welcoming when I visit and I always see the manager and deputy manager around the home which is very reassuring.
My grandfather joined The Court in December at the age of 95. This was a very big move for him, leaving his bungalow behind. We were all very daunted and apprehensive of how this new way of life would work out. His room was lovely, the whole home was warm and welcoming. The Court Manager, Deputy and all staff made my grandad feel right at home and he settled in much quicker than any of us imagined. Sadly Grandad passed away in March but the care and support we were all given during those 4 months was second to none, we couldn't have wished for a better place for him to have spent his final months. Grandad was happy, settled and had company. Staff always gave their time to listen to his stories, which he loved to share and were always very patient with him, even when his patience ran out! His independence was always encouraged and wishes were always met. During his final week the staff were extremely supportive to us making a very difficult time, a little less difficult.
The staff are friendly and a comfort to us.
Very helpful and friendly.
I like the care I feel at home and I don't ever want to leave. I want to be here all my life. I have lots of friends.
My friend has been at The Court a little under a year, the home has been nothing but wonderful. The staff are so caring and respectful, not just to the residents but to their friends and families too. The management team are also wonderful, always available and seen around the home. Well done to The Court, highly recommend.
Father was resident here for approximately 3 months before being moved elsewhere once local authority funding started. Staff are really friendly and fun to interact with. Care is very good. Nice atmosphere.
I enjoy being with all my friends and signing. The staff are lovely and help you a lot. They take us out a lot.
Caring is genuine
After two years of visiting my mother on a regular basis, I cannot praise the staff enough they are so kind and caring. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. Always something going on for the residents to get evolved in. A very friendly atmosphere, very clean throughout and has a good selection of menu choices. Can’t fault the care home on anything.
My mother has been a resident at The Court for just under 2 years. In that time she has been looked after really well. We haven't had to worry about anything. The regular postings on social media provide us with an insight into the range of activities and trips that she is doing. All the staff are great, they treat her with care and respect, but also make time to talk to us whenever we phone or visit. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. It was a difficult decision to move Mum from her home, but moving her to The Court was the best thing we could have done. I can't recommend it too highly. Thank you, to the manager and everyone at The Court.
My mother has been a resident here for over 7 years. During that time we have been incredibly impressed with the quality of her care and the attitude of management and staff to all residents' well-being. Bottom line is that we could not be happier.
My brother-in-law became a resident at The Court about four years ago and we have never seen him so happy and settled. His dementia means he can't hold a conversation for more than a couple minutes but all the happy smiley pictures we see on social media, more than make up for that. Well done and a huge thank you to all the staff
The staff at The Court feel more like family than anything else and yet they are professionals carrying out their duties to a high standard. I don’t have to worry about my mother in the sense she is cared for with love and looked after in a homely, fun, and attentive environment. Leadership at The Court is caring, friendly, and genuine and this is reflected in the attitudes of the whole team. The Court is a very special home from home.
My husband came to the home for respite care and is now a permanent resident. He is happy here and being very well cared for. The staff are all friendly and welcoming to all residents and visitors, which puts everyone at ease. He was encouraged to join the regular activities and now participates most days, which is very good for his morale.
An exemplary service has been delivered by the Manager and staff at The Court. My mother has been incredibly well looked after following an acute illness in hospital. Kindness, positivity patience and a “can do” attitude has been shown in abundance by her carers. This has helped her and her family immensely during a worrying time. Thank you!
My mother has been at the Court since just before Christmas 2022 due to worsening dementia. I have nothing but praise for this residential home, the staff there are wonderful and caring and do everything they can to support the residents. My mum is very happy with the lovely food and is always pleased to join in with the activities arranged most days, including the occasional trip out with staff. I can certainly recommend The Court.
I am currently on respite here due to a fall. I am receiving rehabilitation from the care home. In time here they have shown nothing but care compassion and all with a smile. I have been shown respect and dignity throughout my stay. Nothing is too much trouble and they really are amazing.
