View Full Details of Doveridge Care HomeThe staff have been amazing. Thank you.
Very friendly staff. Give a cup of coffee and ice cream. Great! Like being at home only better. The manager is very kind.
My mum lives at Doveridge and has dementia, it means the world to us that she is so well cared for when we couldn't keep her at home any longer. Doveridge has become family to us and mum is treated with so much love and respect. I would like to thank all the staff for their care, plus my dad has gone from living with mum and being married for over 60 years to being home alone. The staff appreciate this and he is there for lunches with mum and can go whenever he likes to be with her. We are always made to feel so welcome with a cup of tea or offer of food and drink every visit. Mum is content at Doveridge and although it's always hard to put a loved one in care when you find the right place it makes all the difference and the worry goes away. As a family we would always recommend Doveridge. They do a great job and it's a lovely place, with a family feel.
Mum's care is always excellent her dementia is progressing and her care plan has been adapted for this. The staff are so amazing with mum always there with a kind word and a hug. After I leave mum when visiting her I walk away knowing she couldn't be in a better place.
The staff have honestly been beyond wonderful. My dad came for a two-week stay and we think he really enjoyed his time here. He is not normally very sociable, but the time here brought him out of his shell, and seeing him enjoy the company of the staff and things like the singer and guitarist who came to perform was so lovely! His room was super and he hasn't eaten so much good food in ages. We can't thank everyone enough.
Mum has been at Doveridge for over four years and the care, compassion, love and friendship that she has received has been exceptional. We have always found the staff most welcoming and friendly. You always get a lovely cup of tea and cake or biscuits. Mum passed away in the care of Doveridge and I cannot fault the time and devotion shown to her at the end. Many thanks to all.
My Mother was a resident at Doveridge for a few weeks after being discharged from the hospital in January 2024. We found the care to be excellent and the staff very caring and helpful. It was a pity that she could not stay longer.
My mother is in Doveridge Care Home. I think they look after her very well. Nice food and entertainment, she also enjoys going out.
Every care is given to my wife and she loves the care home and enjoys all the things they arrange.
All the staff at Doveridge are very caring and supportive. Food is excellent and varied and plenty of different activities organised. We particularly appreciate the support given to help my father, who still lives at home, when visiting my mother in Doveridge. The care given, after Mum's recent fall, could not be faulted. Thank you for looking after Mum.
Mum has been at Doveridge Care Home since February, three months now. Mum has settled in really well, she especially loves the food. I feel at ease when I leave her as I know she is being well looked after. Doveridge is amazing and all the staff is so helpful. I would highly recommend it.
This is the second visit for Mum's respite care and both times she has been so well cared for and looked after. I can highly recommend Doveridge and hopefully, we can arrange another respite break later this year.
Staff and service are first-class. All very nice. Excellent! Very nice. Five-star.
The staff were excellent, very efficient, kind and caring. The home is very clean and tidy.
I was treated like the Queen. The staff were brilliant, couldn't wish for any better. Nothing was too much trouble.
Welcomed by senior and junior staff that helped put my mother who was reluctant of receiving any care at all though suffering from Dementia and recovering from a cataract operation. Within minutes my mother was drinking tea, eating biscuits and enjoying the attention. She then was off to be shown around the home, and introduced herself to other residents, putting myself at ease that I had made the right choice.
High quality of care. Customer focused. Good communication if issues occur. Activities offered. Regular reviews of the care plan. Doveridge Care Home always welcoming to visitors.
I just like to say that the care that my dad gets is amazing. Never had any problems with his care in all the years he has been at Doveridge. All good, no problems.
Dovedale is lovely and the staff are great. The food is great and I like going out on the bus.
I think Doveridge Care Home is excellent. I don't think there is anywhere that could look after the residents any better.
