The staff are caring and patient. I think the laundry system could be improved. I am not sure how often the bedding is changed and also some of my husband's clothes go missing for weeks at a time. I do not know who to approach with this as the carers are, understandably, busy with the residents. Pants and socks are difficult to identify and I appreciate that but pyjamas and jogging bottoms go missing and the wrong trousers are returned.

Super staff, great food, a really caring environment. Well organised and ready to listen to feedback. My Stepmother is in the very best place I can think of, all her needs are met on a regular basis,

After looking after my cousin for the last six months, I reluctantly decided it was time for her to go into a care home. We lived close to the home for a number of years so it was the first one I tried. They could not have been more helpful and my cousin moved in within a week. Her room is lovely and the staff could not have been more welcoming. As I have been unwell over the Christmas period I was even sent a photo showing her having a good time. Some other relatives visited this week and they were extremely impressed.

Having lived in Malden for a few years very happily, my mother passed away at the end of November. I would like to commend all the staff at Malden House for their empathy and the exceptional end of life care they gave my mother. Their dealings with my father and all of the family was exemplary and they helped to ease us all although my mum's final journey. We cannot thank them enough.

Mum has settled well at Malden House and seems to be happier than any of us expected. Thank you for looking after her.

My husband has been attending Malden House for once a week daycare for six months, he also had a two-night respite stay in the summer. He's been made so welcome by the management team and staff, and I feel welcome when I drop him off and collect. It's always good to see the full-time residents, in what's a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Thanks so much, Malden House, the weekly daycare has made a positive difference to us both.

A hidden gem of a care facility on the outskirts of the popular seaside town of Sidmouth. It runs as a well-oiled machine providing exceptional personal care either one-to-one or in a group setting. Obviously the staff have received a high level of training through the guidance of a high-level management team. Would highly recommend.

Thank you to Malden House for making our anniversary very special, it was wonderful. Myself and my husband were overwhelmed with joy and appreciated all your hard work. Thank you for making me feel welcome as much as my husband who lives here.

Today was a special celebration for my relative and his wife. The staff at Malden House went out of their way to welcome us and help celebrate their Golden wedding anniversary. He is always happy and confident to be living at Malden House when we visit him. We appreciate the photos on social media, he is always involved in the activities and to see them every day si so reassuring, knowing he remains happy every day.

We received a very warm welcome when we went to visit Malden House and again when my husband went for a two-week respite break. The staff were very caring and helpful. Communications with the home were excellent - very prompt replies to messages and I felt very informed about how my husband was settling in. An issue which caused my husband to feel uncomfortable during the early days of his stay was resolved swiftly and satisfactorily. I was able to have a break from my role as a carer knowing that my husband was in very safe hands and in a very comfortable environment.

It's approaching three years since our Mum came to Malden over which time her care needs have changed. The team at Malden have consistently been fantastic in every aspect and we are comforted and happy that she is in safe and caring hands. Alongside excellent care, Malden provides imaginative and engaging activities often tailored to the individual interests and needs of residents. Thank you for your commitment to looking after our loved ones.

Amazing staff so caring could not ask for anything better. Management dealt with any enquiries before we moved my mum reassured me every step of the way. The move couldn’t have been managed any better.

It is such a pleasure to visit my Mum at Malden House. The staff care given to my Mum is amazing, such dedication. The food is wonderful, tasty, adjusted to fit each resident. A lot of activities are always organised. Something different each day.

My experience is very good. I know my wife is in very good hands. The care applied at Malden House is very personal and on a daily basis is kind, attentive and very personal. I am relieved about my wife's daily life as I know Malden House and its staff will go the extra mile on her behalf.

As a family, we have been so impressed with the endless kindness and patience shown by all the staff at Malden House. It was the perfect place for Mum to recuperate after five weeks in hospital.

We have been very reassured by how well my father has been cared for with dignity as his dementia slowly declines. The carer keeps me very up-to-date with his progress and any changes. I don’t think I would see how anything could be improved. We are very happy.

The staff are extremely caring to Mum and she really appreciates them because she tells me of her own volition. When I have visited I have always found Malden House to be just like a homely home and all the staff very helpful.
