View Full Details of The Manor HouseA warm, friendly very caring home. Visitors are always welcomed. The staff is happy to discuss any issues. My relative is very happy there and her life has improved enormously as a direct result of the care and companionship which she experiences.
My Aunt has been at The Manor House for a year now and I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention she receives. She had been independent for nearly 100 years so giving up her home was quite traumatic for her but this was dealt with with the utmost kindness and understanding she is happy in homely surroundings with a beautiful garden all very important for her quality of life. We too are welcomed and cared for when we visit which we very much appreciate.
My father lived at the Manor House for over two years and was very happy there. Two years later, my mother was no longer able to live independently and chose to move into the Manor House. She already knew what a lovely, friendly place it is and that she would be really happy and well looked after. The staff are exceptionally kind and caring and the home-cooked food is very good. The premises are extremely clean but also very homely. Residents are encouraged to participate in the many activities organised by the staff and they are also taken on trips out. Visitors are always made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend the Manor House.
My aunt moved into the Manor House Care Home in Janurary 2011 and resided there until her death in October 2018. A total of nearly eight years. The care she received from all of the staff during this time was absolutely second to none and for them to suggest themselves to keep her there during her last two or three weeks instead of sending her to hospital was a call way beyond duty. The home, with its always cheerful environment, is always clean and tidy and a cup of tea is always offered to the visitor no matter what time of day. I can not thank everyone that works in the Manor House enough.
Only a short stay - very friendly and mother enjoyed it. It seems to be the right mix of friendliness of informality with experience of room for comment etc very good.
Food was excellent and staff friendly and considerate.
My mother was a resident at The Manor House for the last 8 yrs of her life. She has a number of disabilities and she could not have had better care and attention throughout the period. The owner, managers and staff were consistently helpful, supportive and caring. All of the immediate and extended family gave excellent reports. We wish them all well.
My father has been in The Manor House for a months respite care. The home is friendly and has a homely atmosphere all of the time. He tells me the staff are all lovely and can't do enough for him. The food is excellent and all choices are good. The has been out on lots of trips and had plenty of activities while at the home, so never got bored. He was treated to a lovely cake and present from the management on his birthday so he felt really special. I cannot thank everyone enough for looking after him so well.
I have really enjoyed my month at The Manor House it is so homely and everyone from the owner/manager to the carers are all happy and friendly. I had a wonderful birthday here they gave me a cake and present. I have also been out on trips with other residents and staff and have really enjoyed myself. The food is really nice and just like I get at home all nice and tasty. I would always be happy to return here again for a respite stay it's lovely.
Over the last 2 years, my aunt has had the best care possible, right up to the end of her life. Nothing was too much trouble and my aunt was loved and cared for in the most amazing and heart-warming manner.
I am very impressed with The Manor House. The staff are all very caring and helpful and the owners are about always, which is another plus.
