View Full Details of Pinhay House Residential Care HomeMy parents went into Pinhay House, a lot has happened since and my Dad is there on his own now. Throughout the time they have been there they have been cared for in a dignified, thoughtful and respectful way. They have had fun, been entertained, had trips out, fed wonderful food by an amazing chef and his team. The carers, activity staff, maintenance staff and all the team at Pinhay are kind and caring and my family and I know how well they are looking after Dad. His health and well-being are cared for to the highest level and nothing is too much trouble for them. We have the highest respect for the team at Pinhay and when we leave him we know that he is contented with his new family, which is everything we wanted for him.
My mother was at Pinhay House for the final seven years of her life. During that time, I was so impressed with the care and attention she received in every aspect. She was treated with dignity and respect by the lovely carers, kitchen staff and housekeeping. The setting of Pinhay is magical, overlooking Lyme Bay and bordered by magnificent gardens. The rooms have high ceilings and are spacious, and the team at Pinhay is very enterprising, arranging lots of activities for the residents. Mum was very happy there, and as a family, especially with me living in the Far East - it was comforting to know she was in capable, loving hands. I cannot recommend Pinhay highly enough. Thanks to all who looked after Mum for those seven years.
We admitted our mother to Pinhay over a year ago and we want to express our sincere thanks to every single member of staff who works there. They are caring, genuine, hard-working and truly committed to their roles but they cope very well with her and we know when we leave her after a visit, that she is in the best hands possible. Our sincere thanks to all of them.
Our relative is really happy in Pinhay house - he recently had a birthday party , which the home and all the residents made really special for him. The staff all treat him with respect and support him in following his interests in singing, music, cooking and wine. He gets lots of personal attention - even to the extent of getting his own wine and espresso coffee made for him. The staff treat him as an individual and accept him for what he is with all his quirks and idiosyncrasies.
