View Full Details of Sainthill HouseMy father-in-law moved here in September and I have nothing but good to say about his time at Sainthill House. Prior to this, he was in two other homes which left a lot to be desired. From the owner and manager downwards, all the staff are very polite and friendly, constantly engaging with all the residents, which is lovely to see. It really is a home from home atmosphere and we always leave him safe in the knowledge, he is being very well looked after. The genuine and ongoing support of the Sainthill team makes this difficult dementia journey much easier.
All that matters to me is that Dad is safe, well-cared for and as happy as someone with Alzheimer's at 90 years old can be. Sainthill House provides all of the elements to ensure this, from the management downwards a service is provided beyond excellence. Professional, caring and total investment in the residents is evident and constant. Clean, homely surroundings with food and drink on tap adds to the overall fantastic experience for Dad. This is not just a "Care home" but a real home with a family feel. Ded can relax if he wants or enjoy numerous activities on a daily basis. Thank you, all at Sainthill House.
My sister recently moved into Sainthill House. We were all made to feel very welcome from day one. Her room had been decorated and personalised especially for her, which was a lovely touch and made her feel special. Sainthill House is a really unique place and feels very much a home, residents are able to move freely around and mix together socially. The atmosphere is incredibly warm, friendly and relaxed whilst providing a very high standard of care and supervision at all times. Everyone of the team recognise each resident and offer personalised care required for that individual. Activities and stimulation are provided by a team of committed staff who encourage independence whilst providing a safe and healthy environment. My sister has flourished in the short time she has been there and is extremely happy and relaxed, which gives me peace of mind knowing she is safe, happy and well cared for. Thank you to all the staff.
My cousin has really come out of her shell since moving to Sainthill House, she is much happier and brighter and really enjoying her life. Not only are her care needs met but her quality of life and wellbeing has improved.
The staff at Sainthill House are fantastic, my brother is very happy. The facilities at Sainthill are really first-class. Highly recommended!
Happy and settled.
My friend came to stay at Sainthill at a very difficult time and was made to feel so comfortable there - the staff really made him feel at ease and provided very kind care. The home might not be the most fancy or spacious but the atmosphere is so friendly and warm and that is what really matters.
My uncle moved here in a very poor way and within two weeks was a different man. I put this down to the kindness and care of the whole team of Sainthill. Totally compassionate and great communication.
In my experience since my brother was admitted he has had first-class care. The manager and all the staff have taken great care of him. I would certainly recommend Sainthill House for their brilliant care.
Sainthill House and staff always very welcoming and have a very relaxed atmosphere. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Residents are at ease to go about the home as they please. Food of high standard and every resident likes and dislikes catered for. The residents have access to refreshments and snacks as and when they wish. Residents, family and friends are encouraged to be involved with activities and care plans.
I am extremely happy with how they provide for my wife. The carers do a good job of looking after my wife and providing for all her care needs and stimulation.
Nan came to stay for respite, but now comes weekly for a day out. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. 100% outstanding care.
I have recently visited a friend. At all times I have seen the top qualities of care, compassion, understanding, patience, thoughtfulness, respectfulness, and more! It’s not easy so well done Sainthill House.
The staff are very kind to Mum. They are so good to her. I couldn't be happier.
Sainthill House and all the staff provide exceptional care for not only my Mum but for all of its residents and their families. We are constantly kept informed on how Mum is and she is content and happy. It is very much a home for Mum who is treated with so much respect. Today Sainthill are having a fete and I am astounded by the energy that has been shown to coordinate this on top of the workload that comes with the care requirements. This is above and beyond and thoroughly outstanding. Thank you.
My sister's needs are complex and difficult to meet but Sainthill House does more than I thought possible for her. She is monitored very closely and action is immediately taken when needed. I am kept very well informed of her condition. The care home environment is attractive and stimulating for residents and visitors feel immediately welcome and at home. Residents are consulted over all aspects of their life e.g. meal choice, hour of rising, etc. My sister is happy here and we would both be upset if she had to leave. We have experienced two other homes over the years. Sainthill House is far superior. A superbly well ran home.
All the staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. The food and choices are brilliant. My dad is kept clean, and when we visit, we are made to feel welcome.
I recieved a call from Sainthill to say Mum was 'Resident of the day' as it was her birthday and would I like to join her for lunch. When I arrived Mum was looking radiant with a new hairstyle - she'd obviously had extra pampering that morning for her special day. Lunch was lovely homemade Meatloaf with a selection of fresh vegetables. The staff were all very attentive, cuddling Mum and admiring her new look. Then a beautiful homemade birthday cake decorated with fresh fruit arrived complete with lit candles and the staff all singing Happy Birthday! They presented Mum with flowers and chocolates, Mum and I were reduced to tears! So unexpected... and so very very kind. Thank you so much lovely Sainthill people for making Mum's birthday such a special day... she was so chuffed. Also for proving, once again, that my mum is in the best place ever!
My brother was in a previous home, and I wanted to move him to Exeter. I am so pleased I found Sainthill House; it is an amazing home. Everything from the greeting you have on the first meeting to all facilities provided is warm and welcoming. He has a lovely room and excellent care, and I feel so much better knowing that he is being looked after to such a high standard. Many thanks to the manager and all the staff.
My mum is the happiest I can remember. She's extremely positive now. I'm so very pleased with how you all look after her.
