View Full Details of Manor CourtMy Mother was a resident at Manor Court from October 2023 until she sadly died this January 2025. Her lovely large room with the handy kitchenette was always kept very clean and tidy. The food was excellent and varied. One of the many positive things about this care home is that they have a policy to encourage residents to be down stairs in the communal area so they interact and are not left in their room. There are also varied visiting performers and activities to entertain and stimulate. The carers were wonderful - very attentive, helpful and kind - seeing to my mum's every need including even allowing us to facetime her using one of the carer's phone. One example of the exceptional care was when the manager came in especially to sit with my mum late one night when there was a serious health issue so she wasn't left on her own. My mother was very happy at Manor Court and my family will always be grateful.
My mum has been in the care home since mid-July. Her care has been excellent. She has a lovely room and is very well looked after. Mum has dementia and was neglected in her own home for 4 years. Since moving into the care home she is well fed and well cared for. The staff are all excellent. They have all been very supportive to us at a very difficult time. Mum is well cared for and aged 84 is living her best life.
Very clean home. All the staff are very caring. Food is good.
Care staff go above and beyond for my nan, her room is always kept clean and tidy, very good choice of meals, management are very friendly and approachable, nothing is too much for staff and management.
Nan is very happy at Manor Court, staff are very friendly, very approachable and so are management, really like coming to see Nan, always feel very welcome, like home from home, food always look delicious and Nan enjoys meals times, well done Manor staff and management.
My mother has been living at Manor Court for nearly 12 months. In this time I feel that her needs have been clearly assessed and met at the home in an organised and caring manner. I am impressed by the caring attitudes and friendly care staff, kitchen, cleaning and support staff. When I ask Mum she says feels safe and enjoys the food and activities with others at the home.
The manager and staff at Manor Court have been so supportive in the transition of my mum moving in. The set-up of having the equivalent of a little studio flat makes it still feel like home, and my mum tells me she loves her little room. There are so many choices of other rooms to use at Manor Court and being able to feel part of a community. As a family, we are able to visit whenever we want to, and every member of staff takes the time to talk to you and acknowledge your visit. The staff are amazing, and work incredibly hard, and are always available to talk to. Credit to everyone from the management, carers, kitchen staff, housekeeping and anyone else I've forgotten to mention.
We feel extremely lucky our Mum is now a full-time resident at Manor Court. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to ensure our mum has everything she needs and is comfortable and happy. The food is excellent and nutritious - great chefs. Excellent management. 10/10 all around.
My mother arrived at Manor Court from hospital following another fall at her home. It had become clear to the family she could no longer remain living independently at home and we researched local care homes with a view to find her a permanent care home. Having witnessed the care and professionalism of the staff at Manor Court we were happy that there was nothing comparable to Manor Court. The home is clean and welcoming and the staff are so kind and attentive to all of us. We could not be happier that this is the place for Mum.
I found Manor Court Care Home an excellent place for my mum to have respite care. ALl the staff were amazing and were just so kind and caring. I cannot fault the care my mum has received. I would highly recommend Manor Court for long-term and short-term care. Amazing place!
Manor Court is a very clean, modern, well-maintained home. Very polite and friendly staff. The food is really good, with many choices. Rooms are big, airy and well-furnished. Well-staffed, even if there is a hiccup, they own up to it, try to rectify it, apologise and learn from it. Staff are easy to talk to. Generally, really cared about my mother.
My husband and I are very happy with this care home, knowing that my dad is well looked after and my dad agrees, he's very happy to be there. I have no concerns about anything. The staff are all amazing and I'm kept in regular contact regarding any issues with dad.
My mother has been a resident at Manor Court for several years and has always received excellent care. The staff are very accommodating to the family's needs and always pleasant to deal with.
My mother was a resident for three years, but the last sixteen months she was confined to bed. The staff are very caring and I was always informed of how she was and given information regarding visiting during covid. My mother was not well and we were told we should prepare for end of life. Even then, the staff were on hand to look after her with dignity and professionalism. The day my mother passed away, the staff were always on hand, supporting the family. I felt the years she spent at Manor Court, we could not fault how she was looked after and the whole family are very glad that her final years were spent there.
I waited a long time and fought very hard to get my mum into Manor Court because it has a very good reputation. It was well worth the wait as her previous home was less than adequate. Mum is much happier at Manor Court, the staff are great and very caring nothing is too much trouble and they treat Mum with kindness and respect which gives me peace of mind that she is safe and secure in her home.
My mum has been a resident at Manor Court for about 8 months. Despite her memory problems, she appears to be happy and content with the care and support she is given from the excellent staff. Mum enjoys a good rapport with all staff, who communicate with her well. The home benefits from experienced and highly skilled team leaders, who are always available to offer support and answer queries. The new manager and deputy are extremely approachable and welcoming, and are clearly committed to enhancing the person-centred care at Manor Court. I would strongly recommend this care home.
My father is a resident at this care home and I cannot speak more highly of the home. The atmosphere the manager has created has made it like a home from home. All the staff are amazing and so dedicated. Nothing is too much trouble. Well done to all of you as a family we can't thank you enough.
Today I went to visit my mum in Manor Court care home and was delighted to learn I could visit her in her own room, the first time for nearly 18 months due to the pandemic. I was so pleased to see her room spotless, very clean and tidy. She loves being there and tells me every time I visit that she is happy there. Her face lights up when a carer comes to see her and she really feels at home. Carers are always happy to answer my questions and nothing is too much trouble for them. As a family we are so glad we found such a great care home for our dear mum.
My last review was in April 2020. My mum sadly passed away a year later in April 2021. My mum's brutal illness and deterioration was very hard for me to experience. The Manager and her wonderful team were outstanding with care and kindness and so professional along the way. Thank you so very much from all her family for taking such good care of her. You are truly the best and I will never forget you all.
