View Full Details of Greycliffe ManorMy father has been at Greycliffe Manor for just over a year, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care and support he receives. The staff are kind, attentive, and always go the extra mile to ensure his comfort and well-being. The facility is clean, welcoming, and has a warm atmosphere. There are also many activities for the residents to enjoy. It gives me great peace of mind knowing he is in such good hands. Thank you to the wonderful team at Greycliffe Manor for all that you do!
On visiting my great aunt, the home is lovely, warm, caring, and welcoming. My great aunt tells me she is very happy there and feels well looked after. The staff made me feel very welcome.
We moved my mother to Greycliffe Manor about 9 months ago following the unexpected closure of her previous care home. We were delighted with the welcome received and mum fairly quickly settled into her new surroundings. The home is clean and well kept with caring and considerate staff who ensure mum is happy and comfortable and they treat her with respect and dignity. The food and meals are good and mum enjoys the variety and quality of meals offered. We are kept informed and updated on any issues involving mum's health and well-being. My mother is very happy there and always speaks very highly of the staff and care provided. We obviously want mum to be happy and well cared for in her home and Greycliffe Manor certainly provides that.
Mum (aged 96) became a resident at Greycliffe Manor at a very stressful time as we had to find a suitable care home in just six weeks when her previous care home closed in March 2024. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt it was a place where mum would feel at home. We were impressed with the decor, the homely atmosphere and the obvious desire from everyone involved to give mum the best possible care and attention. Since that time, we have continued to be kept informed of how mum is doing; receiving regular emails and telephone calls if there have been any issues regarding her health or well-being, being welcomed whenever we visit and, most importantly, knowing how much mum appreciates all the love and care she receives from all the staff. She cannot praise the staff enough for all that they do for her. I am so grateful for the excellent care, tasty meals, medical support and various activities that Greycliffe offers and would not hesitate in recommending it.
A great care home for the care of my mother. The staff are always professional and helpful. My mother has dementia and the care is the best. Thank you all very much. The premises are always clean and tidy and I visit at any time.
The management and staff offer a very caring and supportive environment to the residents. We are always made to feel welcome whenever we visit our mum and they give their time and a listening ear to the residents which is so very reassuring, this in turn encourages a very happy and positive environment. The daily activities are wonderful and the residents can decide if they want to join in. We enjoy seeing the posts on social media of the residents at these events. Thank you for finding the time to do this. The garden is wonderful and when we visited during the warm summer days it was lovely to sit outside - even then the staff were making sure that there was shade, hats and sunscreen available for the residents. The meals are varied and always enjoyed by my mum. We greatly appreciate all the love, care and support given. Thank you.
I have nothing but praise for the staff and facilities at Greycliff Manor, my mum is so happy and well looked after there, there are plenty of activities to keep her engaged and the food is home-cooked and lovely. The cleanliness is excellent and my mum's room always looks lovely the garden is always well kept and Mum has a wonderful view of the garden from her window.
My mum went to Greycliffe in June 2024 and was not in a very good place either physically or mentally. The staff at Greycliffe have been outstanding in their care and understanding of my mum, they have made her feel so welcome as well as sorting out medical issues for her too. They have brought back the Mum I had a year or so ago and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the whole team. Thank you all at Greycliffe.
Mum was at Greycliffe for just a month, as she had a life-limiting condition, but throughout her short stay, she was totally happy there. The care that she received was everything I could have hoped for. The staff were so friendly and dedicated and the environment was extremely welcoming and comfortable. It may not have fancy spa facilities or a restaurant-quality dining experience, but the emphasis is on nurturing a skilled, homely and caring relationship with the residents and their relatives. I was kept well informed as to the progression of Mum's condition and had great emotional support from all the staff and management. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greycliffe Manor.
At the age of 103, my mum realised that we could no longer care for her and asked to go into a care home. We could not have made a better choice as she was welcomed with affection from day one. We made several unannounced visits a week and invariably found her treated with care, respect and compassion. Any minor complaints were immediately and professionally dealt with. When her health deteriorated, medical assistance was swiftly obtained and the carers could not have been more understanding, helpful and compassionate. Although Mum was only at Greycliffe Manor for a short while, it was a great relief to us that her last few months were happy. We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, good humour, and professionalism.
I could not have thought of a better way for Mum to spend the last few months of her life. All the staff were kind and caring and had Mum's best interests and health at heart. The home was kept clean and tidy and smelt nice. She had home-cooked food and snacks. She was never left hungry or thirsty. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of staff for going over and above to look after Mum.
From the moment of stepping through the door, my mum and then later my dad were cared for magnificently. I was particularly touched by the welcoming family atmosphere and personal attention they and I received especially at such a difficult time for all. I was able to speak to my parents easily and always felt they were safe, their needs were being met and any queries were resolved quickly with kindness and compassion. Myself and other family members were very fortunate to be so welcomed when visiting and to have the opportunity to share quality time with my parents. My Mum was kept entertained with all the activities while my Dad was in hospital. The home is beautifully kept and management is so helpful and professional. I have had several experiences where staff went above and beyond their duties to ensure an outstanding outcome. Greycliffe Manor team, I am so very grateful for your support. Thank you.
My mother was taken into Greycliffe Manor as an intermediate care patient. She was very happy and very well looked after. Her room was clean and spacious and had a toilet. The staff were always happy and went out of their way to help in any way possible. My mum always complimented the food and loved sitting outside in the garden. Highly recommended.
My friend seems really settled here. She has just had the bedroom decorated which is very nice, bright and comfortable. Whenever I come, all the staff are lovely and I am happy she is here.
My family are so very pleased with Greycliffe Manor Care Home, from entering you are able to sanitise your hands, mask, clock on the wall to write the time when entering the home, the staff member always greets you with a warm smile, always informs me if Dad is in bed or in their wonderful, clean garden room which helps Dad's mind. The staff always are a great help in answering questions we have. Greycliffe staff we find fantastic then Dad's food he has served is full of vegetables and nice meat which our dad loves his food so he looks forward to dinner. We feel Dad is very safe here. My father is well cared for and has good food and very attentive service at all times. The staff are caring and always let me speak to him at any time on the phone and look after him at all times through the night should he require a drink or anything.
When my mother entered the home, she was very anxious, recovering from illness and extremely disturbed at night. In the first few weeks, several ambulances were required to address her medical issues. Throughout this time the staff encouraged her and helped her to settle in, plus continued to contact the GP to ensure she had the right medical support to address her issues. Now a few months later, she is like a new woman, happy, settled and doesn't wish to leave the home. She loves all the staff and has made friends with the residents. I'm welcome any time and always made to feel welcome. I am very grateful to all the staff for helping my mother to feel happy again.
My husband has been attending daycare for a while and really enjoys being there. He always enjoys the food provided and participates if there is entertainment. As family we could not speak highly enough of everyone at Greycliffe Manor. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble, it's lovely to know that your loved ones are in such capable hands.
This residential home is simply amazing. I can't tell you how grateful we are to of found this home. We feel incredibly lucky to have experienced such a loving, friendly, and compassionate home. From the very moment my father walked through the door, I could see how clean it was. The staff were so friendly, and they really went over and above. Even over time, that really shone through. The care for my dad made him feel so safe and truly cared for. From mY point of view, I could relax more knowing he was happy, safe and cared for. The staff are so friendly and will always communicate with you. After my father sadly passed away, I walked away with a friend or two from the staff. I am more than happy to carry on supporting Grecliffe Manor. It was my first experience with a residential home and was a bit sceptical after seeing things in the media, but we really had the best. Thank you, Greycliffe. You really are amazing. I will always be very grateful.
