My mother has only been at Fairlawn for two months and struggled to get used to new people and things. However, I find that she is becoming much more relaxed and happy in her new surroundings. As a family we are very happy with her care, cleanliness and safety are second to none, only hope that she continues to enjoy her new home.

My aunt has been in Fairlawn with dementia for over 2 years and we have been very impressed with the care given in every aspect. Good communication with family, regular updates and social events. Excellent catering. We are so reassured that my aunt is safe, comfortable and cared for. Would highly recommend Fairlawn to anyone seeking a caring quality residential home.

Have been so happy with the choice of care home we made for my mum. She has been a resident since March 2024 and really loves it here and feels well cared for. The staff are all absolutely fantastic and do a great job, from the management, the carers, the housekeepers and even the maintenance man! The rooms are lovely and clean and the food is (mostly) very good. I would be happy to recommend Fairlawn to anybody needing care.

Most of the staff are very friendly and caring. The food is mostly good. Activities have have improved over the last 2 or 3 months. The lounges, coffee areas, bedrooms and toilets are exceptionally clean.

We approach the end of 2024 and the time to reflect on the past year approaches. I remain in awe at the care, love and simple humanity displayed by all at Fairlawn. Sadly it goes unnoticed by those who simply pass by on their busy day, popping into the nearby supermarket or caught up otherwise in their busy lives. I am sure that were there a Richter scale system of measuring care and devotion Fairlawn care levels would be off the scale. Thank just does not seem enough.

I am so grateful to the manager and her team for the care they have shown to my stepmum. She was reluctant to come into a care home, but the care she has received has been outstanding. I love the activities that they plan and the way that all the staff (and often their young families) get involved. The last few months have been a difficult time - full of lots of feelings of guilt that we weren't managing at home. But I know she is where she needs to be, that she is happy and that she is getting excellent care.

I am confident that the staff at Fairlawn always treat mum with as much kindness and respect as I was able to provide for her. The staff are generally cheerful, and have time to listen and respond to our questions as they arise. The activities provided for residents are varied, and I know that residents are encouraged to join in in whatever way they are able - even if it is just being present and enjoying watching other people do things.

We as a family are so pleased that my mum is in Fairlawn. The facilities are lovely, and so clean. The laundry service is run extremely professionally, this is a big issue for my mum. The head if laundry is a star with my mum. The staff are a joy. So kind and caring. They also try and care for the family as well as the resident, realising when you've had a difficult visit, and lending support. Maintenance and cleanliness are excellent, carpet cleaned regularly, always cleaners around. Food looks very good, and what I've tasted was wonderful. Finally their entertainment and open days. The whole team pull together like a family. BBQs in the summer, with raffles and stalls, even an ice cream van. Christmas fayre with Santa, elves and a sleigh. They really do go the extra mile.

I have found the home to be excellent. All the staff are friendly. They go above and beyond what is expected of them. It doesn't matter what time you turn up, they are always ready to listen and to sort out your concerns. It has a friendly atmosphere. They have helped my mum so much.

My dad was in Fairlawn Care Home for 8 months until he passed away. He was very reluctant to go into care but knew that he had to. He soon settled and became very fond of all the staff with a couple of firm favourites. He was looked after with so much love, care, respect and dignity, and for that, I cannot thank the staff enough. They also looked after me and my family members, especially at the end of dad's life. I highly recommend Fairlawn to anyone in need of care.

Now Mum's needs have become more pronounced, Fairlawn continues to treat her with respect and warmth. Fairlawn is a true "home" to all residents. It is a standout example of how a care home should operate.

My mother has been in Fairlawn for over two years, her changing needs are always met with a smile and encouragement. I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have a lovely and friendly atmosphere. The staff are exceptional and go over and above every day.

As a family, we are very pleased to have chosen Fairlawn Care Home for our 96-year-old mum to live. The management and staff go above and beyond to accommodate her needs and are very helpful. The atmosphere feels very homely and is very clean. We are very impressed with the care shown to Mum and the family.

We would like to thank all the amazing team at Fairlawn Care Home for all their love, care and support in making the final year of our dear mama's life memorable, enjoyable and comfortable. We as her family were so very fortunate that Mama passed with such dignity and care that the team provided, not only for dear mama; however also for her family. My sister and myself were treated with privacy and respect. The care team went above and beyond both day and night in supplying us with anything that we needed. In todays fast paced world where working in the care sector is very challenging, stressful and hugely underpaid for the workload that is required for our loved ones; it is reassuring to know that there are still quality care providers in our local community such as Care South. We will keep in contact and visit your memory garden in the beautiful grounds of Fairlawn and take time to reflect and remember dear Mama. With much Appreciation.
