View Full Details of Elizabeth HouseWonderful Christmas event at Elizabeth House. Such a happy atmosphere, so festive and jolly.
The staff at Elizabeth House have been wonderful. They have taken very good care of my grandmother. They were always friendly and kind. The activities were really good and well organised; they were varied and fun. The facilities are good and well used. We liked the various social spaces (lounges, conservatory and dining room) as this meant a good choice of rooms to relax in and socialise. We are very thankful for the care they have provided her.
We chose this home because of the warm welcome and the pledge to meet our mother-in-law's needs. The management has an open-door policy and any concerns are efficiently dealt with. The cares are fully aware of the resident's needs and do try to respond as quickly as they are able. It is a busy home with an energetic activities team always making sure the residents have something going on to stimulate or entertain themselves and even take them out on trips. As a family we are welcomed any time and encouraged to join in events and trips out. Care South do a lot to raise money for other charities. It is a happy home where the staff really do care for their residents.
I am really happy with Elizabeth House including all staff. The residents are treated with respect, and kindness and my family member is brilliantly cared for with such kindness and respect. It’s so lovely to know my relative. Is being cared for and kept safe.
Very helpful and caring. Couldn't ask for better staff as they are always happy and helpful.
I cannot possibly thank all the care team for all the support and round-the-clock care/love/time they have given my grandad especially with all his day-to-day requirements, as I have always been so close to him, so it's always one less worry knowing he's got everything he needs when we are not on site. My grandad could not ask for a better group of staff.
Very happy here, food very good, environment good. Staff excellent and a good feeling all round.
I have been coming to Elizabeth House for the past four years and have enjoyed myself each year, and been grateful for the support I received from the girls that live with me there. Everyone is so friendly.
One hundred percent happy with my experience.
I find the rehabilitation meets all the needs and care needed.
Despite my reservations about my father going into a rest Home, once he (and I) settled into the idea, it has been a huge weight lifted from the daily worries of his welfare. The home allows the family to visit at any time, which is very reassuring and a huge factor in choosing this home. The staff and management are always available and treat both visitors and, more importantly, the residents with professional care and the respect they deserve. One of the most appealing aspects of this home is that when choosing where to place my father, it came across that the resident's happiness, inclusion, and well-being were far more important than how plush and impressive it may look to onlookers, and this has continued throughout his stay. A huge thank you to all concerned.
My wife will soon have been living at Elizabeth House for a year. The care is excellent in a warm, homely environment. The management and staff are positive and cheerful and always pleased to see us when we visit. My wife is settled, happy and well cared for, that’s all we can ask.
Our aunt has been in the care home for seven weeks. The care is exceptional. All the staff have smiles on their faces. And are very professional. They seem to have all resident's problems at their fingertips. Thanks so much. It is such a relief for us.
On Thursday, the team from Elizabeth House gave residents, family and friends a great afternoon; a tropical party with music, a quiz and a BBQ. All the team took great care with the residents, to make sure they were safe in the sun and joined in. Thank you all for a lovely time, you all worked so hard for us.
Very welcoming, polite and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Very family feeling. Excellent home.
We are so thankful that Elizabeth House was able to take our stepmother. We moved her from another home because we weren’t happy with her care. Since she has been at Elizabeth House there has been a big improvement in her personal care and she seems very happy in herself. All staff and management have been very friendly not only to my stepmother but my father, family members and friends visiting. Thank you Elizabeth House.
My mother has been a resident in care at Elizabeth House from the 4th of November 2022 to the present 4th of March 2023. During this time, I have been extremely pleased with the high standard of care my mother has received. The care staff and management are all attentive, caring and dedicated to making Mum's daily routine a pleasant experience. Many thanks to you all.
Due to my own poor health and my wife's deterioration I had no choice but to place my wife in a care home. Due to covid I could not tour or inspect different homes and decided on this one as a telephone conversation with the manager reassured me. My wife has dementia and walked into the home as if she had been there for years. The staff and management are excellent with her. The home is well decorated, clean, and doesn't smell. My wife is safe and happy and covid security is good. This was very difficult for me after 51 years of marriage.
Mum recently passed away after living at Elizabeth House for more than four very happy and contented years. The care has always been professionally delivered with care and love. I was always made to feel welcome and always felt there was a happy and caring atmosphere. Communication with the home was always exceptional with me being kept updated if there were any concerns. All phone calls I made to the home, whether answered by the manager, admin or care team, I always felt they were important to them. During Covid restrictions, the home did all they could to ensure visits were safe for residents, staff and visitors. When Mum was receiving end of life care during this time, I was given valuable advice on how best to use my visits with a great deal of reassurance by the care team leaders. For all the wonderful care, respect and love Mum was shown during her time at Elizabeth House, and especially at the end of her life, saying thank you doesn’t seem enough.
Everybody has been helpful and caring and have done their utmost to minimise the impact of Covid closures on contact and visiting whilst keeping residents safe and happy. The setting and gardens at Elizabeth House are lovely and I know my mum will enjoy spending time outside when the weather improves.
