View Full Details of Lilliput House Care HomeMy 103-year-old mother spent the last 5 months of her life at Lilliput House and I could not have wished for better care for her. The last two years have been extremely difficult owing to undiagnosed dementia as well as other health issues. It was such a relief to her family that she was able to end her very long life in peace and comfort. All the staff were extremely caring, very helpful and welcoming.
This is a nice home with nice gardens for smoking a pipe. I would recommend this home.
When I came out of hospital I had such a warm welcome. I feel like it's a home away from home. Such a wonderful experience.
My wife and I turned up and found everyone in the dining room with two girls singing Christmas songs and Carols. We were welcomed, chairs were provided for us, and we stayed about half an hour - while the resident's food and Christmas crackers were given out. We arranged with our friend to bring him to our house for Christmas Day. We were very happy, and we thank you for letting us in, letting us stay, and letting us make Christmas arrangements with our friend. We were impressed by the quality of your care and kindness to us, who turned up "out of the blue" during a very busy time for you all when we could've hampered you in your lunch.
I think this home is very good. I am very happy with the service I get.
Lilliput House Care Home provides excellent care and any questions or concerns are always addressed immediately. The staff I have met are kind and patient with the residents and the atmosphere is calm and friendly.
My dad has been in Lilliput House since March 2022, he has been looked after extremely well. He is quite smiley especially when he is sharing banter with the staff. Dad joins in with some of the activities but is able to go to his room read his newspaper or watch television if he would like to. Dad always looks well-shaven and clean. The staff are very friendly and quickly get to know you. They are also helpful if you have a query and will also phone you if they need to. Dad also enjoys the occasional trip outside in his wheelchair which the care home organises eg a fish and chip dinner or morning coffee.
I had a very negative view of care homes due to a bad experience with my Mum but Lilliput House Care Home has been so good it’s made me feel completely different now. From the first tour we have been amazed by the dedication of all of the team members to making the resident's lives the best that they can be. Every time we visit we are greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. My aunt was living on her own with carers visiting four times a day, but she was thin and disengaged and deteriorating rapidly. She has been at Lilliput for 8 months now and she looks fit and well both physically and mentally. She loves the food that she gets and doesn’t want me to take her out for lunch because she will miss what is on offer and the home. Every day there are activities taking place and the Coronation celebration to which we were all invited was extraordinary. We can’t speak too highly of the home.
Lilliput House prioritises the physical, emotional and social needs of its residents and offers a safe, clean, happy and comfortable environment. The staff and management are amazing, kind, helpful and supportive. Every time I visit I am greeted with a warm welcome - whatever time of day. I feel very fortunate to have found Lilliput House. If I am unable to visit for a few days, I don't worry about Mum as I know she's being looked after and made to feel special. I love Lilliput House and so does Mum! I would recommend t to anyone.
Lilliput Care Home is so nice, it’s care is extremely good. My mother was in for respite and they did an amazing job of looking after and healing her ailments. A big shout out to the manager and deputy manager and all the other fantastic staff that took great care of Mum. The home is light and beautifully decorated, her room was great too. She loved the food which is high praise from my mum! We can’t praise you enough. Thank you all so much.
I can't fault the home in any way. I would highly recommend it. My nephew who comes to visit is also very impressed with the service and mangement.
Really caring staff, trying their hardest to give good quality of life to my mum. Upgrade to the carpets, furniture and fittings are in hand which shows good intentions from the owners.
My mother is safe and comfortable in the care of Lilliput House. She is well entertained and treated with respect. The family are pleased with her care program to date.
My mother has been with Lilliput House for over a year now. The staff have been excellent. Even though no one really wants to be in a care home, my mother is fully aware that she is better, safer and happier at the home than living alone, unable to cope. For her family, we know that she is being cared for, 24 hours a day.
Best place! I visited Lilliput yesterday to say hello to my mother. We sat in the garden and had a little chat. She was telling me all about the care staff who look after her and who were now her friends. This was so pleasing and I'm full of gratitude to every one of them who care for my mother. Thank you to all the care staff
After not visiting my aunt for nearly 16 months, it was really nice to see her again. She told me that she has really been enjoying the activities, and loves it when singers come in, which has been happening a lot. Lilliput House has been amazing at keeping us updated with pictures and news throughout this difficult period. Thank you once again for all that you do.
The activities that go on here are just fantastic. The range of things that my mum gets up to is just brilliant. My mother loves the activities coordinator. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Very friendly, lovely environment. Staff are always on hand 24/7. Would recommend Lilliput House to everyone.
After a year of COVID and not being able to visit my mum, I was so impressed at how well Lilliput House had been caring for her in my absence. She was clean and well put together in my first visit back and seemed content.
All resident seem to be catered for in every aspect. There seems to be something going on in activities, which is sadly lacking from many homes. Lilliput House certainly is an excellent place for loved ones.
