View Full Details of Chargrove LawnThe care given by all members of staff and management was excellent from the time they visited my Mum in hospital to assess her needs to the point when she was fit enough to return to her own home. The quality of care was matched by the range and quality of food as well as the cleanliness throughout the home and the friendliness of the staff.
Our mother has been provided with excellent care in the final months of her life. The staff are all very caring and cannot be faulted.
The staff are very friendly, caring and professional and took great care of my wife. Thank you.
My brother has been in Chargrove for 12 years since having a stroke. He has been extremely happy there and gets on well with all the staff, who all treat him with respect and kindness. I am always informed of any illness or accident which may occur immediately. I can't speak too highly of the home. Thank you.
My mother, who is 98 years old has had a nasty flu-like virus recently she has been quite poorly. The manager and the staff have looked after her magnificently. She is happy at Chargrove and considers it her home. I send my grateful thanks to all.
I contacted Chargrove Lawn Care Home with the query of respite care, allowing myself and my husband to get away for a few days. The matron was very helpful and I was invited to view and discuss details at Chargrove Lawn. Mum was cared for and appeared happy when picked up a week later! Sadly, however, I did have a few problems settling her back into her flat, having had all done for her that week, pleased we are having some normality now.
When I came to Chargrove Lawn, my legs were very swollen and I had an ulcer on my right leg. The staff here were very welcoming, and I had the room I needed, which overlooked my families back garden, and my grandsons back garden too. It was also at the back of my other grandson's bungalow. Thanks to the district nurses, my legs have healed, and the swelling has gone, so I'm good to go home. I can't speak highly enough about the staff or how much they have contributed to my stay here. As for the care home manager - she has more than contributed to my stay, so thanks so much to all.
Made very comfortbale. Staff kind, helpful, cheerful and encouraging. Would be happy to return if the need arose.
As a family, we could not be more pleased that we have managed to have mum placed in such a fantastic care home. The staff have been wonderful caring for mum with such kindness and respect.

My mum had to go into respite care as her husband was taken into hospital. Chargrove Lawn made what could have been a very distressing event for our family very easy and worry-free. My mum was welcomed into the home with care and consideration for her needs.
I have found my few months of life as a resident in Chargrove Lawn is an experience I did not welcome, but have found surprisingly pleasant. The care staff make one feel welcome and do not complain when unexpectant demands are made on them. I think of them as my friends and will always be grateful for the care and attention I have received.
My mother first stayed for respite care 12 months ago and was very happy here. 10 months ago she came to stay following hospital discharge. The staff gave her back quailty of life and a will to live. When she first arrived she was unable to do anything for herself, stopped drinking and eating. Staff worked very proactively with her. She is happy, safe and warm. I can visit at any time and visit most days, sometimes at strange times. She is always warm and comfortable.
Lovely home, lovely staff. When visiting my friend I'm always welcomed in a homely and professional manner, there is always activities going on and the atmosphere is a very happy one.
Good, pleasant location and building. Staff are approachable and willing to assist or answer questions. We are able to visit at any time of day, although we avoid meal times through choice.

We are very pleased with her level of care and the quality of her life now. Chargrove Lawn provides very good quality care in a compassionate and professional manner. My wife and I have our lunch here every day and the service is excellent. We are both from Cheltenham, and we are both in our ninety years. If at some future date we had to consider moving into a care home, this would more than likely be our number one consideration.
