View Full Details of Four SeasonsA caring home with a feeling of warmth, all staff have the utmost patience and compassion, the rooms are bright and cheerful, the activities and entertainment are well thought out and Christmas parties are lovely.
Nothing is too much trouble regarding the care for Mum. Mum's extremely happy with all aspects of her care. If Mum's happy, so is her family. It's Mum's happiness that is the most important thing to us and her care exceeds all of Mum's and our expectations. The staff are the most important asset to any business. All of the staff could teach other care homes we have had experience with how it should be done. Well done to all of you.
We have found Four Seasons Care Home all that we hoped for. It is privately owned and as such, is able to operate in an autonomous way without the restrictions of being part of a large group. You are able to access the management and staff and communicate on a one to one basis. If you are looking for glitz then this is not the care home you should be looking for, but, if you are looking for care and compassion together with a bit of fun and laughter then look no further.
I would definitely recommend the home having spent a week in respite after a chaotic stay in hospital. The peace and quiet in the room, overlooking a beautiful garden, plus all my meals brought to me by staff who were cheerful and helpful, was a joy. The manager also came to enquire if everything was to my liking, which I appreciated. I have been unable to comment on facilities ie, dining room, lounge, as I was happy to stay in the room, but several residents knocked on the door and introduced themselves and they seemed very contented. I was taken down to afternoon tea and entertainment in the garden, which was very enjoyable. My mobility is severely restricted after 3 back operations, but that was overcome by staff who were pleased to help me. A big thank you to everyone.
Excellent standard of care. Staff are of a very high calibre. My mother is completely happy with all aspects of her care. Highly recommend the home.
I spent three separate weeks in The Four Seasons Home to give my family a rest from caring for me. I was very well cared for, the staff were friendly and very helpful and I felt very comfortable there. The activities and facilities were very good and the garden was pleasant to sit out in. Altogether a very satisfactory home.
This residential home is the best I have ever encountered (in 30 year nursing) it is home from home small, warm, friendly with genuine love and care for it's residents. They go out of their way to ensure residents needs are met and each resident needs are unique to them. As a family we are all grateful for all the staff have done and continue to do to make our mum's life as full and happy as possible.
I had lived very well alone after my husband died but after 5 years had an illness which I found scaring so I decided it was time to move into this care home which I had previously researched. My three adult offspring live far away and I did not want to ask them to help me. I have been here now nearly 4 years and I feel I am very lucky to be well treated by the staff. It's clear that the carers now have far more dependent people and, therefore, have far too much to do, with the result that some details are now not so good eg. laundry gets lost, drinks are late, but the staff are long-suffering.
Four Seasons provide adequate care for my 100 year old mother. She has been there for many years. It is a small enough care home for people to be treated and understood by staff. There is a fair selection of food and everyone is catered for.
The Four Seasons Care Home in Mickleton whilst not as luxurious as some homes is a friendly and caring establishment. The owner and manager are always available to listen to residents and families. It is a well run safe environment. Individual staff always seem to really care about the residents needs. My mother has been a resident for nearly 6 years and we have never had cause for concern about how she is treated. We would certainly recommend it.
Caring, dedicated staff treating residents as if they were family, good home cooked food, jolly atmosphere and visitors always made to feel welcome. I cannot thank the staff enough for the way they looked after my mother right to the end - staying on to make sure she was never alone with little regard for their own fatigue - a genuine, caring home!
My aunt was in the home when she was 100, she had really good care during the last years of her life, the kindness that was given to her was top class. I wasn't too worried if she has someone else's top or skirt on all I cared about was the care and kindness she was given. This home has first class staff!!
My mother died at Four Seasons after a stay of five years, in May 2015. In the days and weeks leading up to her death actually in Four Seasons, a move to hospital was thought unnecessary and more importantly not in mother's best interest by the Doctor and supported by the care home staff, a particular relief to us during her time at Four Seasons the care was superb, caring professional and loving. But particularly during her last week it was amazing, the manage and the staff who provided loving care which exceeded anything we expected from them. The support we, mother, my sister and I received was second to none. It may not be the most luxurious care home but the care is excellent with local staff who care.
I would recommend the Four Seasons for their exemplary quality of care for my mother. They are dedicated carers, displaying attention to individual needs and preferences. Their response has always been courteous and kind. They work collaboratively to overcome issues that arise, helping each other to achieve the best outcomes for residents. Staff are aware of residents comfort, safety and their well being and show unstinting effort to respond. The quality of the home, cooked food that's prepared on the premises, is of a high standard of nutrition, taste and presentation. The home feels warm and comfortable, it is small and does not feel like an institution. There are a variety of activities for those residents who wish to participate but equally residents can chose to enjoy the peace of their own rooms. Visitors are always welcomed and concerns easily discussed.
My husband spent 2 weeks in Four Seasons for respite care while I arranged for help at home. The staff were wonderful, very caring, they looked after him very well. The manager is very efficient and works very hard to make things run smoothly. They made me feel very welcome when I visited and I joined my husband for several meals, which were delicious and of course home cooked.
My 99 year old mother was in the care home, whist I had 3 nights away on holiday. Well looked after - peace of mind for me. Also in the same home in early July, for 4 nights whilst I went to France. Plus 2 or 3 day visits (good value) last year.
Very good caring environment. Excellent staff, excellent contact with local G.P (weekly visits from caring lady Doctor) Good happy home with activities for residents and excellent gardens for outside use.
The Four Seasons looked after my elderly mother in her latter years with such love and care, she was so happy to be there. Since her passing on, on the 8th of November 2014 (aged 94), I have continued to have my lunch at Four Seasons on a daily basis and am fully conversant with the wonderful teamwork amongst, and between the very caring staff and management! If all the care homes in the world were run by The Four Seasons example, what a wonderful, caring world it would be!
