View Full Details of The HamptonsI have had excellent treatment since I have been here and would recommend the home. The staff are kind and very helpful.
A friendly stay. Excellent staff. Good food and service. Would recommend.
My stay even though short was incredibly enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if the need arose.
My husband spent a week of respite care in Hampton House Care Home from 19/10/23-26/10/23. He has dementia and prostate cancer. So has physical and mental requirements. He was looked after by very caring and friendly staff. All his needs were attended to and he was treated with dignity and kindness. An excellent home.
I came to Hampton after a two-month stay in hospital and another care home which did not fit my needs and found here. Companionship among staff and clients alike, which I really needed.
I cannot find anything here to fault, the service and care is excellent. We enjoy our meals, the food is healthy and very tasty. We find everyone very kind and ready to help in any way they can.
I'm very impressed by the care given, the good food, the comfort in my room. Everything is excellent.
Hampton House is so clean, with no nasty smells, and the staff show great care and compassion. Not only are they fantastic with the residents, but they are also great with the families of the residents. Before my father became a resident, I viewed several homes, but Hampton jumped out as by far the cleanest and friendliest. It feels more like a hotel with that personal touch. Thank you, Hampton House. Dad's so happy.
I have just had a hip replacement and spent two weeks of respite care at Hampton House. The staff have been excellent, fantastic food and a great room. I lost my brother two days after I arrived, and the staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, They helped me through a very difficult time, and I am very grateful. Thank you.
I found the staff very helpful and friendly.
I have been very happy at Hampton House - Care Home for the Elderly, the staff listen and do all they can to help when personal problems arise. I have full confidence in them all. They do what they say they will and this has given me confidence throughout my stay. They organise a range of activities and treat everyone as an individual.
Hampton House reacted really quickly for an urgent admission and was very flexible. They had an outstanding care ethos and very high standards. The home was as good as it could possibly be, and the overall experience was excellent.
My mum enjoyed her weeks stay at Hampton House and will certainly be back again!
Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was lovely, and the care and attention have been excellent. Food is really good with a good variety.
From the initial phone call to find out if you had space for my mum who needed some convalescence after a hip replacement, right through to doing her laundry for her ready to leave, our experience of Hampton House has been absolutely superb. The level of care given by your dedicated team of staff has been first class, nothing was ever too much trouble and you made Mum feel so welcome. She loved all the lovely home-cooked food and pampering including hairdressers and chiropodist. Some good old fashioned TLC has given her breathing space to build her energies and confidence to go home and continue her recovery. We can't thank you enough for taking such wonderful care of our 'special cargo' and we won't hesitate to recommend your services going forward.
Re last 12 months My mother came in for respite while we had a holiday and was then marooned by Covid, but this allowed us to continue in front line NHS roles. My mother has been settled and content at Hampton House and says she would recommend it to anyone. She does not give faint praise and this is an excellent mark from her. The care staff have been tactful and supportive to her and to us. She particularly likes the fact that the staff are a locally based group who are stable. They get to know and enjoy the residents well. Our mother has really enjoyed looking out at the well-kept garden. She has also enjoyed the home-cooked food. When we could visit, we were always made welcome. The house was always calm. We never heard residents who were uttering distress or who seemed to have hygiene issues, both of which we have experienced elsewhere. We are so grateful for the quality care and for the fact that Hampton House created and maintained Covid security throughout a difficult time.
Christmas was very pleasant and jolly. I enjoyed the carol singing and all the activities. The food is excellent.
Best Christmas ever.
My aunt wisely chose to come and live at Hampton House four years ago. The care and attention she has received has been second to none. She has made friends, has been comfortable and able to live happily and safely. The staff keep a watchful eye without intruding and treat all the residents with the utmost respect. Being able to live your twilight years with dignity and comfort is so important and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for somewhere for an elderly relative for a short break or for a long term living. I'm even thinking of putting my name down for the future.
I moved into the care home at short notice, but the assessment was done professionally and quickly. I experienced a high standard of care and attention throughout my stay. The room met all of my needs as well as those of my visitors. As a former chef, I found the meals to be well cooked and they provided a balanced diet for me. The service at meal times was excellent and the extra tough of serving drinks on my birthday was much appreciated. I was treated with dignity and respect throughout my stay, and I would be very happy to use the care home again or recommend it to others.
