View Full Details of Burnworthy HouseMy mother has been at Burnworthy House for nearly two and a half years, during that time, her care has been consistently good. The staff are all very attentive and caring towards her. There is always a range of activities for her to take part in and regular outings which Mum really enjoys. I am very happy with the care my mum gets and she is very happy living at Burnworthy.
My mother-in-law has now been living in Burnworthy House for nearly two and a half years. She has been cared for very well, particularly after her fall in July 2023 which resulted in a broken hip and subsequent loss of mobility. As far as I can see, all her needs are taken care of by the staff who are all very friendly, patient and helpful.
Great staff and service, thank you.
The Burnworthy House team were very attentive and engaged with my family member who was in the last weeks of life. The "welcome home" reception upon return from hospital was clearly uplifting for my aunt and made her last weeks comfortable and peaceful. My aunt died at Burnworthy after more than seven years of careful, engaging attention and care from the team. In particular, Burnworthy's help and efficiency in the days before and after my aunt's death were very highly valued and appreciated.
My father-in-law has settled in very happily at Burnworthy House. The staff have done so much to make him feel safe, welcome and supported. They go above and beyond to create such a homely, happy environment and it helps us to feel reassured that he is being cared for at a level that meets his needs. Thank you to the manager and all the staff for your commitment and dedication to him and our family.
My father has been using this facility since January 2022 and has been a permanent resident since April 2024. I have nothing but praise for the staff and how they have cared for my father. The level of care, in my opinion, is exceptional.
We have been very fortunate that our mother came to stay in Burnworthy House some five years ago. She has been well looked after and despite becoming increasingly frail, she has been happy. Staff have all always been very friendly and helpful and this year they made a real effort to make a milestone birthday a very special and memorable event.
I visited to join the celebrations for my aunt's 100th birthday. Everyone was so welcoming and seeing all the residents gathered together and enjoying themselves. The care and attention given to all residents was subtle but full of kindness and respect. Well done!
Burnworthy recently hosted a wonderful day for my mother's 100th Birthday - there were owls (!), balloons, cake, a card from the King and Queen. A staff member had made contact with some of Mum's old pupils and it was wonderful to see some of them there. Very many thanks to all concerned.
The family enjoyed a wonderful 100th Birthday celebration organised by Burnworthy. Carers and other residents joined in and a good time was had by all.
What a relief to walk into a nursing home with happy and friendly staff, clean and happy residents, lots of laughs. Spotless condition, smelt lovely and lots for the residents to participate in. This home must be a paradise for some of those lucky residents.
This is my first experience of needing a placement in a residential care home. The staff could not have made a better impression! So warm and welcoming. Every effort has been made to make Mum feel at home and relaxed. Each time we visit, we are welcomed like family members. So lucky to have found Burnworthy!
Five star service from all the staff and manager.
Friendly staff, who make time to speak with me when I visit to explain how my relative's care is going. They also show me examples of the activities they undertake with my relative and I feel this enhances my relatives' life under their care, greatly. In summary, a very well-managed home with a professional, caring team.
Mum seems to like living at Burnworthy and the staff seem to have time to spend with her, especially when she gets anxious!
Burnworthy has been home for my mother-in-law for 2.5 years. Always a pleasure to visit my mother-in-law and the home staff and management are always caring, kind, polite and professional - but with intuitive know-how and a real understanding of my mother-in-law's needs. Thank you.
A delightful home, that aims to be right for each person.
My mother is loving her new home. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of activities. Nice, clean room and facilities.
My family cannot praise Burnworthy enough. Excellent care, caring for all my sister's needs. Above the remit. If only all care homes were so good.
Burnworthy House has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are caring and work hard to make sure everyone is happy and properly looked after.
