My sister always seems happy. Visible care and relationship with my sister seems good.
Visit my nan regularly - she seems happy, comfortable and very looked after. I have been very impressed with the care and kindness shown to my nan.
The limes has helped me in a lot of way through my journey out hospital and all the staff have really supported me through this. One staff member in particular has had a lot of input with myself lately and this is beginning to help me a lot. I really appreciate it here.
My mother is settled and enjoys living in the home.
I travel from Wales to see my nan regularly and I can't fault the care she receives. She is always clean and tidy and never has a bad word to say about her 'home'. The staff are extremely welcoming and will always go the extra mile for the visitors and the residents.
Staff all very nice and genuinely seem to care about the residents. Care home is a bit dated but clean and homely feel to it. Food always looks nice. I am always offered a drink when I visit. I don't think the staff are able to give my mum the care she needs but this is down to mum's mental health and lack of support from wider authorities.
Mum is very happy and settled in Cedar Lodge. Staff are very helpful. Cannot fault the home.
The limes unit is a wonderful place to be. The staff are caring and considerate. I am lucky to be able to better my life by staying at the Limes. The staff are friendly and its a comfortable atmosphere to be in. The food is excellent and for the first time in my life I have a quality of life which I didn't have before I moved to the limes. The manager is excellent at her job and has a lot of responsibility.
I feel very fortunate that my daughter is in the Limes. The Limes staff and especially the manager have helped and supported my daughter and she is now feeling better than she has for the past 25 years! What they've managed to do is turn her life around with patience and a structured environment. The Limes is a wonderful environment, a lovely atmosphere and the staff are amazing. I truly feel so lucky as I believe the Limes have saved my daughter's life!
I'm am very happy with the service you are providing my dad.
My uncle came to live at Cedar Lodge Care Home in the summer of 2022 as was struggling to look after himself and was very vulnerable and at risk of coming to harm living in the outside world, and naturally family would always be worrying about him. All the family are happy with the care he gets and know that he is safe. He is also the happiest we have seen him.
We are welcome at Cedar Lodge anytime of the day. The staff and care providers are friendly and courteous. Our mum is receiving excellent care and is in a happy and loving environment. We feel confident that mum is receiving the best care possible. We are kept up to date with any issues, the staff are like family to us aswell. We like to be involved with mum's care and this is never an issue. Great team.
My experience of the home is that mum seems happy, full of smiles. She enjoyed the singing and seeing the rabbit, holding it and stroking it. It seems that activity really cheered her up. She enjoys going for outings and having a bath. Everytime her nails are painted mum shows them to me and smiles. The staff seem to pay attention and help mum when she is upset.
When I visit my brother-in-law who lives at Cedar Lodge. I always have a warm welcome, lovely staff and all are caring people. The manager is very nice and understanding. The food is lovely and all fresh veg and looks hot, not frozen rubbish. Keep up the good work at the Cedars Lodge.
The care Mum receives is outstanding. She is treated as an individual not just a resident. They keep us updated at all times and consult us regarding ongoing care and any health concerns. Their care also extends to us as a family, we know Mum is in safe hands and well cared for,
My dad has been living at Cedar Lodge for almost two years. It has been hard for him at times as he gets very anxious but the staff have always been so kind and reassuring. They have encouraged him to make decisions for himself whenever possible. I find that there is good communication from the lodge regarding my dad's needs, and if there are any changes in his care I know he is safe and content at Cedar Lodge.
I visit the home weekly but on different days. I have always found my relative clean, tidy and well cared for. The home itself is always clean, as is his room. His clothing is washed and clean and neatly put away. I find the staff friendly, approachable and showing kindness to all residents. Some residents can display challenging behaviour at times, but staff continue to show care and kindness. I have witnessed many attempts by staff to encourage and engage residents in a variety of activities. The food provided is of good quality. My relative is content with his surroundings, making allowance for his dementia and has made no complaints to me about his treatment. He especially likes the food, which from a highlight of his day. I have no qualms about recommending the home to future residents.
Since our Mum arrived at Cedar Lodge we have been very happy with the service given. Mum's very happy and we feel this is down to the great members of staff who play a big role in caring for our Mum. I cannot praise all staff members and management enough for all they do to keep the residents happy and safe. We as a family are really grateful for all you do.
It took me a few months to settle in at the home but after 18 months I feel it is truly my home. With my health problems, both physical and mental, I'm prepared to end my days there! The staff are very friendly, often having a good laugh which they share with us residents. The manager is excellent.
My sister has settled in well and finds the home can cater for all her needs. Any health problems are looked into and arrangements made if a GP is required. Staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. My sister can receive visitors with no problem, as well as being able to go out on visits. Food is excellent, with plenty of variety and choice. I have no concerns/anxiety when I visit. The reception staff are always very helpful. Cedar Lodge is always very clean with no unpleasant odours, which I have found when visiting other care residences.
