Mum has only been here about six weeks in only that small amount of time, she has settled in. Thanks mainly to the fantastic staff. They have all been patient and understanding. A big well done.
We enjoyed sharing lunch with Mum in the dining room. The food was good.
Mum is doing really well since being here. It is good to know she is being well acted for.
My wife and me feel so fortunate that my mother-in-law is a resident at Marden Court. Naturally she has a number of health related issues but the staff here are absolutely amazing. I know its their job but it is clear that they go beyond that, they genuinely care about their residents and nothing is too much trouble. The home itself is always spotless and regular activities are provided for the benefit of the residents.
If I tell you my auntie is 101 years old, it won't be too difficult to know who she is! She absolutely loves it at Marden Court and I must admit, after being a little sceptical at first, I can see why. The staff are absolutely lovely, very attentive and caring, totally professional whilst making things fun on a day-to-day basis. Nothing is too much trouble and there are regular activities, entertainment and outings too, it's great! The whole place is always spotlessly clean and "fresh", not like some other care homes we have been to! I also love the monthly Newsletter, that's how I found out I could write a review. Looking forward to the calendars that the staff is producing too. I can't praise Marden Court highly enough! Well done each and every one of you, thank you!
I haven't seen my nan this healthy and happy for a long time! The carers are fab and always friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Nan is very settled and really enjoys the day-to-day activities - it is lovely to see photos of her joining in the huge variety of events. She always is full of compliments about the food as well. Thank you for looking after my Nan!
I find all of the staff at Marden Court very welcoming and helpful. My father has just moved in and nothing is too much trouble, and from the top down everyone is friendly and willing to help. There is lots of entertainment, which is brilliant and well organised and good fun! There are staff/family and family member meetings where you can put any comments and make suggestions.
Dad has settled in very quickly and has built up excellent relationships with all the staff. The meals are excellent.
Dad has settled in very well; he says the food is good, and the staff are lovely and supportive. We are reassured that Dad is well looked after.
The home offers residents a safe, secure place to live. The staff are excellent and provide loving care. Nothing is too much trouble. You are always made very welcome when visiting.
Going into a home to visit my friend or relative is a bit concerning but need not have been as all the staff and management are brilliant and dedicated. Very welcoming to clients and visitors.
The care my brother in law received during his short time at Marden Court was second to none. The love and attention he received was exceptional, as was the kindness and consideration shown to the family at what was a very difficult time. My thanks to all the staff.
Everyone of the staff is very helpful. Clean place to stay. Nothing seems any trouble for the staff to assist me in any way. Be glad when the home opens again and to enjoy my trips out again.
I can only give praise and thanks to the team at Marden Court. From the manager to all of her care team, the housekeepers and the catering staff. All of them work so very hard but remain cheerful, and most importantly, caring and compassionate. They treat my mum with dignity and kindness when her Alzheimer's makes her life so very difficult. I feel very lucky that my mum is being cared for in such a lovely, clean place, and by such dedicated and kind staff. Thank you, everyone.
More than happy with Mum's care, the home and the care team. Excellent team. Mum loves the care team and feels her needs are met. I am always kept in the loop of Mum's care. The team are compassionate towards relatives as well as the residents. The team are supportive to me as well as um.
It’s fantastic, I’ve got no problems, it's great for my husband, I’m an essential carer, the care is excellent, my husband is happy, housekeeping work very hard. The carers are always on hand for support, encouragement for my husband and me. I’ve been very lucky because being an essential carer has allowed me to visit when I choose to since Covid-19, and lockdowns. The manager has been brilliant, everyone has been brilliant, my queries are answered as best as they can be or if the query isn’t known they will find out. The admin assistant is very helpful, I like that when I come into the home it’s not ultra modern, it’s not like a hotel, it’s lived in and the Easter decorations around, it’s nice and warm.
Ever since my mother-in-law has been at Marden Court her all-around care has been excellent. This not only includes the actual carers but also the domestic, laundry, kitchen and admin staff as well. Whoever my mother-in-law comes into contact with are all very kind and patient. The hands-on carers themselves are also very professional and always leave her happy and comfortable.
Everyone is always friendly and happy to help. Mum is always clean and well dressed. The food, I believe, is excellent. A really good home.
I can only praise the staff and management of Marden Court for the way they have managed this horrible COVID situation. They have all stayed approachable, understanding and caring and have done their utmost to keep residents safe, happy and in contact with their loved ones via Skype, Zoom, FaceTime and phone. Although Mother misses seeing me in the flesh, they are able to treasure her that she would see me again and stopped her from getting too distressed. They have kept her happy, safe and free from COVID.
I find all members of staff friendly and helpful.
