View Full Details of Tudor HouseMy aunt has spent over two years in Tudor House where she was loved and cherished. One of the reasons for choosing the home was because staffing remains constant, with many working there for years. The home continues to access its provisions, enabling them to deliver high standards, particularly under the leadership of the matron.
My mom has been a resident at Tudor House for quite a few years now, and I'm so glad we picked here after viewing this, and others. The staff are always friendly and happy, and from my experience go above and beyond their duties to ensure that all the residents are cared for in the best way possible. It's not just the usual stuff like, cleaning, help feeding and suppling medication when needed which they do brilliantly, but there's a more personal touch where staff communicate with the residents, and have a good time with them, helping to make all the residents time more comfortable, enjoyable, and generally and a happier place to be.
All members of staff are polite, caring towards residents and visitors. They go out of their way to make sure that everyone is made welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Dad always enjoys the food and the menu is varied.
My father has settled in after nearly twelve months. I am very happy with the staff and the care he is receiving.
My mother has been in several care homes and has left for various reasons. I must say that my family and myself are very pleased with Tudor House. My mother has been in care homes that look like 5-star hotels but haven't been happy with the care. At Tudor House we cannot fault the care at all. The management is certainly 5 star rating and nothing is too much trouble. The manager is very approachable and understands the needs of the resident as well as the family. Each and every one of the care staff are genuinely nice caring people who have worked there for a number of years. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, which I have already and they are very pleased too.
Resident since March 2019. Found the home and staff very nice, staff helpful and caring. All very friendly. The manager is professional but relates to family members on a personal level, keeping us up to date and informed on my dad. Family days throughout the year - Easter, summer etc., see's other families enjoying spending time with family members in the home. Am very happy with the service being provided to my dad. Would recommend!
My mother has been at Tudor House just over a year now, and I really can't fault it. The staff and management are so caring and also are very on the ball with any health concerns. It has a very homely feel and visitors are always welcomed, also staff work hard to involve the residents in various activities. After an initial settling in period Mum is happy there and so are we. Would highly recommend.
My mother wasn't at Tudor House for very long before she passed away but the care she got from all the staff was excellent, they even make family welcome. Some residents go out to the local church, cafe's, etc, which I think is really good for them. Mom's last few months were happy and that's all we wanted for her. A big thank you to Tudor House.
Our family made the agonising decision to place dad into a care home. From the time he was admitted in March 2018 to Tudor House they have been nothing but exemplary in the care they have all shown dad. The manager has been truly caring and nothing but compassionate. Sadly dad had to move to a challenging behaviour unit. We would highly recommend this home to anyone faced with the difficult decision of putting a loved one into a care home.
My aunt has only been a resident for a short time. I have been impressed by the care that she has received in this time.
The staff and manager give a very high standard of care, nothing is too much trouble, very caring and friendly. My mom has been here just over a year and is happy and settled. Mom always looks smart and clean, her room is spotless and very comfortable. Any concerns are dealt with in a professional manner.
Since my mother has been at Tudor House, I feel that she has settled in well and that her condition has stabilised. On the whole, I feel the home is caring and friendly. I am pleased with the attention that is given to mam. My main concern is security. When I first visited we signed in. This has almost disappeared, the expectation is that the visitor chooses to sign in! This is, in my opinion, needs sorting.
A very positive visit. The staff are all very caring and kind. Mother is very well looked after and is much brighter and happier in herself.
I thought that moving my mother into a care home after 25 years living on her own would be traumatic but it went amazingly well. She moved into Tudor House within a couple of days of finding it and she was immediately happy there. Ask her today and she will say weren't we lucky to find it. She has a lovely airy en-suite room that is just the right size for her. She is also highly complimentary about the friendly staff and the food and the fact that she is able to wander about wherever she likes. The house has an old-fashioned look to it, with wood panels and stone doorway etc, so it avoids seeming modern and clinical like a hospital. There is also no "odour" as you walk in that you do find in some places! A lovely caring environment.
