View Full Details of Phil Mead HouseOn arriving at the care home you are always met with a cheery smile and a friendly welcome, the staff are always ready to answer any questions we have. The care my brother is given is very good, he always looks clean and smart. Food is very good. Plenty of organised activities and special days are celebrated.
My mother became a resident in this home a few months ago. She loves it. The service and care has been excellent from day one. The management and carers go out of their way to ensure my mum has everything she needs.
Always find staff very friendly and cheerful and they know Mum's likes and dislikes, she is treated with respect and as an individual. I know I can approach any staff member at anytime and am never made to think anything is too much trouble.
I have found the staff to be always friendly and caring. They understand Mum's needs and the care that she requires. We had to find a new home for her right at the height of covid when the home she was in closed. We found Phil Mead and Mum was welcomed with open arms. The home is always clean and fresh-smelling. My mum calls Phil Mead home and is really settled there, which in turn gives me peace of mind knowing Mum will be cared for as an individual.
The care given to my father-in-law and our family is overwhelming. All staff are just like an extended famiy/friends. We find complete comfort is knowing our loved one is cared for so very well. The home is lovely and bright, food is fabulous and the feel as you enter is filled with hope and compassion. All staff are amazing, truly beautiful ladies and gents. Special thanks to two members of staff in particular for going with my father-in-law in a taxi of the funeral of his wife, staying with him and then allowing family to return, providing refreshments. We thank you dearly. We know you/they are all amazing people. Thank you for everything.
The thing I value most is the staff. Always friendly and welcoming, I trust them implicitly with the care of my mum. They understand her needs and treat her with respect and dignity. But they can also laugh and joke with her. I know mum feels safe, secure and well cared for and I can't ask for more than that. The staff work so hard and do a fantastic job. Thank you!
Excellent - no other words for it. From the care provided to the friendship given, everything about Phil Mead House is perfect. It's so reassuring knowing that Mum is in such good hands.
From the day we first visited Phil Mead House, we knew it was going to be the best place for my dad. The home is friendly and the fact that many members of the staff have been working there for more than 15 years speaks volumes. The leadership team create a great atmosphere for both the guests and staff. My dad is thriving in his new home.
Very good care. Just wish the lounge/tv room was bigger or a second one was available and more activities were scheduled regularly.
The care home and especially the staff are excellent. The fees are a little expensive and non-negotiable which is a shame as I am just about managing to pay.
My mum has lived here since November 2019. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their hard work and care. Particularly since Covid, as they have gone above and beyond to ensure her safety. They have worked tirelessly to put all processes into place and keep families informed of the situation. I have been having pod visits and mum seems happy and very settled. I cannot recommend this home enough. I am eternally grateful for the peace of mind they have given me at such a difficult time.
My mum moved into Phil Mead House just under a year ago, and I am so impressed with the way they have looked after her - particularly through these months of Covid-19 lockdown. She looks so well and is obviously very much at home in her surroundings. Really can't fault them in any way.
The level o care shown to my husband has been so caring and kind despite his poor behaviour at times. The staff are so kind to him and myself. He is not easy to care for as he is unable to feed or take care of himself in any way. The home is always clean and fresh. The food well balanced and drinks are regularly given. I would recommend Phil Mead House highly.
I am delighted to have found Phil Mead House as a residential care setting for my elderly mother. This is a challenging task for any family and we research, visit and consider many establishments. (About a dozen in my case). It was clear from the start that Phil Mead was just right; this is a setting that really feels like 'home'. I was impressed by the length of service of many of the staff team, which speaks volumes. Mum settled in during January 2020, and I remain confident in my choice. This is a well-run, safe, residential care home with a wonderful and dedicated staff team. Further, it is part of a large and reputable organisation. Given that the Coronavirus situation arose just after Mum moved in, their swift, effective, excellently-managed response, the rapid adaptation to newly prescribed public health practices and regular, clear communications with me has kept Mum safe and well. The greatest test; passed with flying colours.
When my father decided he couldn't manage on his own anymore I made a shortlist of care homes in the area that have 4 or more stars in every category on the CQC website. After looking around them he decided on Phil Mead House. The staff are friendly and he is well looked after. The place feels clean, professional and homely. They have been very strict on rules during the coronavirus outbreak. Although frustrating for everyone concerned, I feel this is the safest place for him.
My father-in-law moved into Phil Mead House in February when we all agreed he needed more care than could be provided in his own home. We did a lot of research into care homes in the Coventry area and Phil Mead House was on our shortlist. Following a visit and discussion with the staff, both my wife and I and most importantly my father-in-law came to the conclusion that this would be the right solution for him. The rooms were nice and the public areas welcoming. There are gardens for residents to spend time in and everyone there looked after him well.
The staff and carers at Phil Mead House have quite simply become our extended family since Mum became a resident in Nov 2019. Their support, kindness and care shown to Mum has been outstanding and both myself and all the family will never be able to thank them enough, particularly during the recent virus pandemic when they have all been outstanding and kept our Mum safe and well.
All staff have given my Dad over and above care and attention. We have been more than satisfied with the care my Dad has received!
From the first day I brought my sister to Phil Mead House, she has loved every minute of her stay. When we come to visit, the management and staff have been wonderful. They are very caring to my sister and visitors alike. The home is always clean with no smells and personable. I cannot speak too highly of Phil Mead House and all who work there.
When I walked into Phil Mead House it was like walking into a 1st class hotel. All the staff are so good and my sister-in-law thought it was lovely and enjoyed her stay.
