View Full Details of Victoria Manor Care HomeThe Christmas party was great. A great example of staff doing activities with residents. Lots of family came to see lights turned on and staff dealt with it really well. Always kind and caring. Never any issue talking to staff.
We are extremely happy with Victoria Manor Care Home. My Dad is settled and very well looked after. They do lots of activities and outings and try and include my family and friends in these. The staff are very caring and keep us up to date regarding any medical issues or appointments etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending Victoria Manor.
Mum is getting the care she needs at a level we at home could not do. She always looks clean and tidy, and the home is always immaculate. The staff are very patient and very caring. We could not ask for more.
I am very pleased with all aspects of the care home. Staff look after residents well. My mum is always well dressed and her personal hygiene is attended to. Activities happen on a daily basis. We have just attended an open day held in the lovely garden. Food, drink and entertainment were provided. My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Mum has lots of choices in the restaurant and tea and cake is always available. I am happy with all the care given to my mum.
Attended an Open Day on the 29th of June. It was superb. The attention to detail was very high. Residents were cared for in every way. Was lovely to spend time with other families that have loved ones in this home. Entertainment as always was fun and engaging for all. The staff go above and beyond to make these days enjoyable. Lovely memories have been made, forever grateful.
Lovely home! Staff are amazing, friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Good facilities, clean, nice meals. Visitors get offered a cup of tea at break times if you're visiting the residents. Great get together on June 29th, residents enjoyed themselves. Music, stall, singer, drinks and food were all laid on. Great day had by all.
Dancing through the decades, organisation of the event was amazing. All residents and family members has an excellent day. The carers went above and beyond to make this day special. Couldn't have found a better care home for my mother. Thank you one and all.
I can honestly say that all the staff at Victoria Manor are friendly, caring and very diligent in all their tasks. They look after all the residents with due care and respect. I could not recommend this nursing home enough. The therapy puppy is an excellent idea for all.
Although the requirements to use the services of residential care home are not one to be recommended, this facility does provide a very good, safe and secure home for my mother, who is now in the latter stages of dementia. The staff ensure she is safe, clean and secure which is all I can ask of them because my mum no longer has capacity to ask for anything herself.
My brother has sadly just passed away. The carers took turns to sit with my brother in his room. He was never on his own to his last breath taken. My brother was really happy and settled at Victoria Manor, where he was treated with dignity, the care that was shown to him was above and beyond. I haven't got the words to express my gratitude for the care and empathy shown to him. I'm very grateful to all the staff involved.
Staff were very professional and thorough. My mum's views and choices were recorded in her care plan. Mum is very happy living at Victoria Manor. The staff are so warm and welcoming.
Friendly carers. Supportive, go above and beyond. Clean facilities.
Within a couple of days of a temporary admission, my mother, who had always expressed a wish never to go into a 'home', had decided she wanted to stay at Victoria Manor and make it her new home. She tells us she feels safe and well cared for, has made good friends and enjoys all the many activities offered to her. She tells us the food is excellent and that she loves her room. The philosophy of 'kindness and friendship' is followed through all aspects of care. Staff are amazing and exceptionally friendly. Most of all, we know Mum is happy and settled and we, her family, are confident of her safety.
Victoria Manor Care Home is in a quiet and beautiful area. Rooms are kept clean and tidy which they should be. The dining room is ideal, being bright and spacious, allowing the residents to make friends with each other and then they generally sit together talking during the day. There are plenty of things going on to keep the residents involved, especially at the weekends. However, the one thing that stands out in the sixteen weeks that my wife has been there is that all the staff, doing a difficult job, go about their duties with a smile on their faces,
The staff are very well-trained, polite, friendly and very helpful.
The care provided by the staff has been second to none. My mom has been provided with a safe, nurturing environment. She has been given the opportunity to socialise with others. The facilities provided have renewed her sense of dignity and her ability to keep clean and confident. The high level of attention and security provided by the entire team has put both my mom's and my family's minds at considerable ease. Food and drink available to her have exceeded our expectations. A clean, caring and supportive home.
This care home provides everything needed for Mum, checking medication and weight and that she stays healthy.
Very tidy, friendly and helpful staff, rooms are very good. Feel at ease knowing my mother is kept safe and in good hands.
Friendly staff, attentive and good-humoured.
