View Full Details of Bescot LodgeWhen my mother was brought into Bescot Lodge we were all a bit apprehensive as to the type of care our mother would receive but from the first minut we were put at ease the manager and staff are so caring and informative special mention to the events lady who went above and beond her dutey to make mom feel really welcom. We find that the care home is well managed with kind and careing staff.
My father-in-law is really happy at Bescot Lodge. All the staff are friendly and professional. He is well cared for and nothing is too much trouble. I feel confident that he is safe and all his needs are being met. He has made lots of friends too.
My gran has the best care possible, we have been to other care homes where my gran was staying at but this one is far better than the rest. All the staff have been amazing day and night. The management have been there to answer any queries needed. All I can say my gran has had 5-star treatment and this care home is highly recommended.
Staff are pleasant and do try their best. More activities would be good.
Sadly, my mom passed away on 28th May, after spending two and a half years at Bescot. I can't recommend this care home highly enough. I've had personal experience with my mother-in-law, at a care home in Warwickshire, and there's no comparison. All the staff are really caring and get to know the residents like family. During the last couple of weeks of Mom's life, the staff supported me too. If you're looking for a genuinely caring environment, Bescot Lodge is the best.
The staff are friendly, visiting time is not restricted. Food is acceptable and even special items are made for Asian residents. Very good.
Everyone is so kind and helpful.
I have no worries about this care home. The staff are wonderful and friendly. They look after my brother very well 10/10.
Very good care over the time dad has been at Bescot Lodge. Always treated with dignity and respect.
The staff are always welcoming and friendly mom is well looked after and very happy.
Mum has been at Bescot Lodge for six years now. We have always been happy with the care she receives. It is clear she is well looked after and also evident that staff really love my mum and do their best to keep her as happy as she can be in an advanced dementia state.
Change of clothes required - food debris.
I cannot fault the care and support given to my auntie. Even though she is bedridden, she is included in activities, e.g. Diwali; they are brought to her, and they cheer her up no end. Photos are always shared, and we, as a family, can respond, so we can keep in touch between visits. The staff are friendly and approachable; they even offer us a drink if we turn up when they're doing the tea round despite being super busy! We are also allowed to take in our dogs, which always puts a smile on my auntie's face, as well as the other residents. Very happy, thank you, everyone, at Bescot Lodge.
Mom was discharged from hospital to Bescot Lodge in a very confused state. Since her arrival, Mom's wellbeing has improved greatly and she is no longer as confused which is thanks to the care provided by the staff.
My 90 year old mother came into Bescot Lodge to occupy a rehab bed for three or four weeks to learn how to walk after a fall. Prior to this, she was in the hospital for 10 days. The hospital were supposed to give her an exercise and walking plan. I don't think they did enough. In fact, there was no walking, just getting her to stand up and get into a chair. This place (Bescot Lodge) had got my mum up and walking with a Walker within 48 hours. She's received very kind and friendly attention from all of the staff. We're very pleased with everything they have done here.
The staff and manager have cared lovely for my dad and helped me adjust to my dads care and supported me and my dad with no problems asked. My dad went into the home with no glasses, teeth and hearing aids having been lost at the hospital within 3 months they had sorted, all his missing items. The only nursing home to do this after my dad had been in 2 homes previously with no joy or support off them.
I visit my mam every week, and the staff are very friendly and always helpful.
My father needed to move into Bescot Lodge after a very poor experience in a local NHS hospital. On the morning of admission to the hospital, he was fully mobile, when he arrived at Bescot Lodge he had not been out of bed for 10 weeks. After a period of settling in, the team there managed to get him out of bed, mixing and socialising with other residents and generally having such a good time. Unfortunately, another poor experience at a different NHS hospital has left him unable to return to Bescot Lodge. The kindness and compassion of the staff at Bescot Lodge is just amazing. I am involved in the running of a number of care homes elsewhere in the country. Had it been local, of course, my Dad would be in one of my care homes, but, I would offer a job to any of the staff at Bescot Lodge. Thank you all you have been amazing.
My mom was sent to Bescot Lodge from hospital after our chosen home fell through. She was only there a few weeks until she moved but within that time she had two falls, was injured by the heavy-handedness of a carer and was assaulted by a male resident. The home suffers from a lack of staff, resident left alone too long. The alarm was ignored for over half an hour while I was there.
I go to see my brother in law approx every two weeks. He is always clean and his clothes are always spotless, also his room is kept clean and tidy. The staff are always very caring to all the residents. My brother in law is very happy and content at Bescot Lodge.
