View Full Details of Inglewood Residential Rest HomeA wonderful home staffed by kind, caring people and managed exceptionally well. Our mother is so cared for here.
My dad has been in this care home for over six years and I could not be happier with the care and attention that he gets. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and his every need is met. My dad loves the food and is well-settled and happy.
The patients were all treated as individuals with their own particular needs and foibles. The regular staff were worth their weight in gold. They were caring, compassionate and patient. Nothing was too much trouble. They treated patients as if they were their own families. Cooks, carers, nurses, cleaners - all should be valued very highly.
Absolutely amazing staff, did an amazing job with my nan, God bless you all who work here. Started off as just a week but likes it that much she wants to stay longer, she has really come out of herself and looks like she's back to the old Nan.
Mum feels safe and well cared for. She loves the food and the staff. She is happier than she's been for years and says it is a good thing that she moved here. Communication between the home and family is very good, and we are satisfied that she is getting the best care.
My father has lived at Inglewood Residential Rest Home for nearly four years. He is very happy here. The staff are very caring and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is all home cooked and is excellent with a good choice. My father enjoys the coffee mornings and the card club. During Covid, I was kept informed about what was happening at the home and was able to speak to my father daily.
My Mum is 102 years of age, she has lived in Inglewood for 9 years. I was disappointed by the CQC rating. Mum loved her room and the garden. She has always loved food, and the presentation, cooking and quality of food at Inglewood continues to delight her. It is, however, the outstanding standard of care by the staff which is most important to her. On Wednesday 26/10/22, I attended the first relatives meeting since Covid ended so many events and activities. In these highly challenging times for residential care, I was impressed by the new manager's short and long-term vision for Inglewood. The refurbishment and the appointment of an activities organiser will be appreciated by the residents. The new system of monitoring and security improvements recently installed, will be appreciated by relatives. I was reassured to hear that it is the quality of care for residents that will continue to be the core value of Inglewood, the home Mum loves.
The respite care given to my sister was excellent. She was treated with respect and love. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and has missed them since coming home. She enjoyed the delicious cooked meals.
My mother was a resident for several years and now my aunt is in Inglewood Care Home. Mom was very happy and well looked after so we had no hesitation in recommending the same home to my aunt and uncle. Sadly, my aunt is now on her own but is so well cared for and has a lovely group of friends. The manager and all of her staff, have worked extremely hard during this difficult time to keep their residents safe and well and ensuring special occasions are marked and celebrated. When government & local council guidelines allow, visits have been extremely well managed to ensure the safety of both residents and visitors. My thanks to all.
