View Full Details of Pelsall HallI couldn't be more pleased with the wonderful care Pelsall Hall provided to my mum. She has dementia but is looked after well, and she thoroughly enjoys all the well-designed stimulating activities that the staff provide. She has a nice room with views of the trees and garden. My grateful thanks to the manager and all of the great staff who care for Mum with such dedication. I live in Australia, so I only see Mum for a few weeks each year, so I would like to add an extra special thank you to the brilliant social media team. I see pictures of Mum most days, always looking happy and engaged with what is going on. Thank you all for everything you do!
Now that Mom has settled into the home, it is clear that she is very happy and secure there. She enjoys the activities, which include crafting, singing, children visiting and games. (Previously in her own home, she spent all day in front of the TV). The carers all know her by name and ensure she is well-fed and watered and has everything she requires. My grateful thanks go to the staff of Pelsall Hall.
My mum recently stayed for her first ever visit to a care home for almost three weeks respite care at Pelsall Hall and I couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from the home manager and all of the staff. They looked after Mum so well and I could sense a positive change each time I called as she settled into the home and the routine. It was a huge weight off my shoulders to know she had round-the-clock care and I could switch off and enjoy my holiday. The home is spotlessly clean and set in beautiful gardens. Mum has nothing but good things to say about all of the staff and in particular the food! I really wanted this to be a positive experience for Mum and I truly do think that it was and I thank everyone very much for that. I have no hesitation recommending the home for anyone in a similar situation and I hope Mum will be made welcome again in the near future.
We have been delighted with the care and attention that our mother receives at Pelsall Hall. The dementia knowledge and experience of the staff have helped to settle our mum into the home. Moving a parent is never an easy decision to make, and very disorientating for someone with dementia, but Pelsall Hall has made that decision so much more bearable and knows how to interact with Mum. Mum is now in safe hands and looked after with care and dignity. She joins in activities, which we are able to access through social media, and the activities are so varied and entertaining: animals, singers, nursery children, painting, and games, there are always things going on. She always talks fondly of where she is and the staff that support her. We cannot thank the staff enough, from the carers to the caterers to the activity coordinators, to the cleaners, and to the management. We feel so lucky to have Mum living at Pelsall Hall!
The home is beautiful. The staff are fantastic, you can tell that everyone genuinely cares for the residents and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Our mum was in Pelsall Hall from August 2021 until she passed away on 31st August this year. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of all of the care, love and support that Mum, and us as a family, received. All of the staff right across the board, management, carers, catering and all of the other members of the extended team always dedicated time and honestly were off the scale with care and attention. We couldn’t have wished for a more lovely environment for Mum to live in.
My parents moved into Pelsall Hall together at the beginning of October. They and the family, have found all the staff whatever their role to be outstanding, patient, helpful and understanding. Mom and Dad each have dementia but they are at different stages with quite different needs. The management and staff have managed from day one to give them all the support and care that they each need. All their medical requirements are taken care of and they are now eating well having meals that are appetising, well-balanced and nutritious. It is a great relief to us all to see that our parents are being kept safe and well in such a warm and friendly environment.
My mother-in-law recently moved to Pelsall Hall. This was a difficult move for all of us after caring for her in her own home but we feel that she is safe and well cared for at Pelsall Hall. The staff have been supportive and are kind and caring towards her. There always seem to be activities taking place. My mother-in-law loves the children's visits. The surroundings are pleasant and attractive, everything is very clean.
I have found the carers to be friendly, understanding and very knowledgeable with my mother, it wasn't an easy transition for the family to move our mother to a care home, but having visited several care homes we felt Pelsall Hall sounded right, felt homely and safe. Mother's room has everything she needs and to be able to put special touches to her room makes it feel like home from home. The gardens are kept beautiful and the carers have taken my mother out for walks around the garden and into the village which she enjoys. I feel more reassured that she is in a safe environment being looked after. The meals are to a high standard with a variety to choose from and care is taken that they are nutritious. There is a wide range of activities my mother has enjoyed including red nose day and Easter activities where she participated in parties and craft making. I am informed of my mother's progress regularly and can contact them at any time if I have a question with understanding from Staff.
All staff and I do mean all, from management to handyman right across the board are so kind and patient with mom. They have been proactive to her changing needs. Liaising with medical staff and supporting us to get mom the right help and treatment. Knowing mom is in their hands has enabled me to get a better night's sleep. They also take time to check I am ok too and offer reassurance, advice or even a hug when needed despite being busy. I can't thank them enough.
Pelsall Hall staff are dedicated, friendly and sensitive to their residents. They keep us well informed at all times. They always go above and beyond to make their residents happy and comfortable. The home itself is immaculate. Meals are excellent, and I always feel welcome when I visit here.
Mum has been a resident in Pelsall Hall for five years and has been well care for throughout this time, with her care being tailored to her gradual deterioration due to dementia. As a visitor to Pelsall Hall myself, I have been made to feel at home, made most welcome and informed throughout. I am moving away shortly but this is made easier for me knowing that mum will continue to receive exemplary care as always.
My sister and I did alot of scan searching to finally conclude our Mam was too vulnerable to live alone; she had a diagnosis of mixed dementia, and over New Year, had become quite unwell, landing to a long hospital stay. We then began our sech for a suitable care home that we felt would meet the needs of our Mam. We choose Pelsall Hall as it ticked every box ie, clean, fresh, lovely rooms and gardens, but more importantly, the welcoming and caring feel we felt from the beginning. Mam is happy here and well looked after.
My mom came to Pelsall Hall in March this year. I can't speak highly enough about this lovely home and the dedicated, kind, caring and extremely hardworking staff. My mom has thrived and, most importantly, happy. She loves the food. The rooms are spacious, and the home is immaculately clean. My sister and I looked at a number of homes for Mom, and within five minutes of walking through the doors, we knew this was the one.
We are very pleased with the care our brother has received since he has been in Pelsall Hall. The staff are second to none. The place is clean, all the staff are pleasant. We would recommend it to anyone.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the management care workers and cleaners at Pelsall Hall. I recently had to move my parents from a care home they were settled in as it was closing. This was a stressful time for both them and myself. They have different care needs and were both extremely anxious about moving. All the staff at Pelsall Hall have treated them with understanding and kindness. All the staff are friendly and approachable and my parents are now settled and happy. I would strongly recommend Pelsall Hall.
The family chose the care home because another relative had stayed here on an earlier occasion. Her stay was comfortable and she enjoyed the time there. Since my aunt has been in residence, she has been extremely happy. We cannot praise the staff enough for their care and attitude towards our aunt's comfort.
Most of the staff were very kind and showed empathy. Unfortunately one or two let the side down. With an attitude and lack of compassion. During the 48 hours of my nan's death, we were extremely let down by the home. My nan suffered when it could have been prevented. It is still very painful when I think about my nans final days and hours. Before this tragic event, I would of recommended Pelsall Hall. But no more!
My aunt has been in Pelsall Hall following a diagnosis of dementia, and she was unable to be at home as she lived alone. Since being in Pelsall Hall, she has improved in confidence; she responds to the love and care she receives. She is now safe and well cared for, freeing my time with her to be happy and enjoyable. As family members, we have been made welcome, and during what has been a hard time for care home staff, time has been made to reassure us and help through the process of placing a loved one in this setting. Excellent.
Caring and supportive towards residents, professional, helpful and communicative towards relatives and residents. A well run friendly home.
