View Full Details of Dulas CourtWe approached Dulas Court looking for 2 weeks respite for my dad to give mum a rest. After seeing how tired mum was, the manager pulled out all stops to help. Dulas Court is an amazing place. Spacious, safe, smells lovely and all the staff are kind and caring. When dad was unsettled in the afternoon they quickly allowed a phone call to the family to provide reassurance. My regular calls to check on dad were very welcomed and they were keen to ensure they could do everything to make dad feel safe and welcomed including budding up with another resident. Thank you for giving us this space we needed.
Dulas Court is without doubt one of the best care homes I have ever visited. I always receive a warm welcome and it's always spotlessly clean and smells fresh and clean. I and visit the residents at various times throughout the year on a voluntary basis. The furnishings are luxurious and every room, including the lounge, dining room, library and reception area are decorated beautifully with each bedroom individually furnished with the most beautiful curtains, carpets, bed throws etc. The food is always of a very high standard, looks very well presented and the residents always get a choice of a glass of wine or other liquid refreshment at meal times. The residents themselves are always dressed beautifully and there are always lots of entertainment and creative engaging and meaningful occupation for residents to take part in if they choose. First Class Care, laundry, maintenance and chauffeur all set in relaxing and tranquil gardens. Defiantly a 5 star care home.
It was with great reluctance that I arranged for my wife who has advanced dementia to move to a Care Home. Sadly it had to be done. However I feel we are so fortunate that we found Dulas Court because of the standard of care she receives, in a home where the ambience is one of great kindness.
I regularly visit a friend at Dulas Court and have done so for some years. I am always warmly welcomed by all staff and the home has a lovely family feel. My friend receives exceptional personal-centred care, nothing is too much trouble to ensure her needs are met.
My father has been at Dulas Court for over two years and is very content there. He receives kind, compassionate and dedicated care from everyone at the home from the care staff to the garden staff. We are so relieved to have found a home which can not only cater for my father's nursing and dementia needs but that also provides the comfort of round the clock care and company. He has made good friends and there is always someone ready to help and support us on our dementia journey. The home and gardens are both spacious and beautiful. There is always a quiet space to enjoy a cup of tea or somewhere to go for a walk during visits. They go above and beyond to create a stimulating environment for those who are keen and everyone is made to feel welcome. We feel very lucky to be there and are eternally grateful to all the staff who work so tirelessly to look after him.
Very welcoming on my regular visits. Friendly staff - carers, cleaners, caterers and outdoor staff. My husband receives kindly and patient care from everyone at all times, when his is quiet and calm as well as the times when his Alzheimer's makes him less amenable, and rather noisy, and more difficult to deal with. He is looked after well, kept clean and comfortable and is helped with eating his meals which he always enjoys. It is reassuring that he has regular medical supervision by the local medical practitioners.
I have visited my friend, a resident at Dulas for many years. Throughout this time, she has been cared for compassionately and above and beyond expectations. Every accommodation has been made to implement an excellent quality of life and allow my friend to continue to carry out activities that she has enjoyed throughout her life, as well as introducing her to new experiences. Throughout my time visiting my friend, I have also had the pleasure of spending time with other residents who I would also now consider friends. All have diverse needs and care requirements, but I would consider them all to be thriving at Dulas.
The staff are professional friendly and caring there is always a varied agenda for the day for residents ensuring there is something for everyone. The space itself is also lovely with stunning surroundings.
Very impressed!
A lovely musical afternoon with cream scones and tea - a fantastic raffle and the entertainment, a lovely variation. Beautiful gardens and lots of space. A good time had by all, no one left to sit alone.
I have visited a number of times and I am always made to feel very welcome. I have enjoyed the multiple events organised by the home. It's got lovely scenery and is very well-kept and tidy. The sense of community is great like one big family, overall it seems like a very beautiful place to live. The carers and everyone who works there are so patient and kind.
I have found Dulas Court to be outstanding in every way. The care that is given to my mother-in-law is exceptional. The staff are lovely and always smiling, willing to do anything to ensure she is happy. The food is great with a good choice. Can't praise Dulas enough.
Dulas Court has exceeded our expectations in every way. The genuine care and kindness shown to my mum and my late father has been exceptional. Every person working at Dulas is outstanding - they really care and show a passion for what they do. We cannot thank them enough.
Dulas is a beautiful home and ground. My gran seems to be enjoyed her time there the gardens are lovely to walk around with her when we visit and the staff are all very friendly and seem to muck in together which is nice.
Each time I visit I get such a warm welcome. The staff are caring so well for my mother-in-law. They were amazing when my father-in-law passed away. Dulas Court has such a lovely feel and its a pleasure being in the stunning gardens on walks and events they arrange.
I cannot speak highly enough about the member of staff who was present when we lost our father last month. He was kind, knowledgable, informative, compassionate, understanding, sensitive thoughtful, funny, and huggy. He showed empathy, guided us through, and was there for us when my dad passed away, and his being there made all the difference. He lightened up my mum's world at Dulas and he is a credit to Dulas.
From the moment my grandparents first came to Dulas a couple of months ago we have been blown away by the incredible love and kindness of the staff who treat them more like family. Since the sad passing of my grandad my gran has been surrounded by support and overwhelming love and it is such a comfort to know that everyone at Dulas genuinely cares about her and wants the best for her. They go above and beyond every single day.
Since my wife's grandparents have been at Dulas they have received amazing care. Such a kind team and always doing brilliant activities and family days which have been really lovely.
My father was a resident at Dulas for nearly two years. Unfortunately, he passed away at the end of February this year. Dad and the support they gave me was excellent. Dad's end was dignified and as peaceful as it could be. In many ways, I will miss my "Dulas family".
I could not be happier about the Dulas Court family, yes that absolutely sums up every single individual supporting the sometimes challenging needs of my friend. She is happier than she was ever able to be alone in her own home. She loves singing and this is engaged with by all the staff. The interaction of the very caring staff, even when she can be difficult, is outstanding. Everyone, the cleaners, the maintenance team. the gardeners, every single person in this care home makes a huge difference to not just the residents but the friends and family that come. My friend is safe, cared for, understood and happy, what more could anyone ask for. Thank you for all you do to make her life better than I ever felt possible.
