View Full Details of Honeybrook HouseThe manager and team have done an excellent job throughout Covid, trying to keep everyone safe. I am very pleased with the standard of care that my brother receives. I am especially pleased that he has been taken to do activities frequently which I know he enjoys. His keyworker in particular always goes the extra mile and has an amazing rapport with my brother.
I am very pleased with the way the staff at Honeybrook House have been excellent with their communications to me during this pandemic, keeping me updated by telephone on any personal issues or general information regarding the pandemic. I also appreciate the regular newsletters that have been personalised by putting recent photos of my son on the front. I really appreciate this as I have been unable to see my son for a year because of the pandemic. I also must commend the staff for making a special effort to make Christmas special for the residents who were unable to come home, and giving treats. Knowing that my son was enjoying these treats with the other residents has made the situation more bearable. I also commend the staff for their efforts to prevent Covid 19 transmission in the home. So far, the home has remained Covid free, and this is down to the measures that have been put in place by management and the adherence to these by the staff. Well done all!
Our son has been a resident at Honeybrook House for 14 years. During this difficult Covid-19 period we have been kept informed at all times as to our son's well being. We have been greatly impressed by the strategies put in place and the selfless and caring attitude of the staff, led by a Manager with a professional and enthusiastic approach to dealing with the unprecedented problems that have arisen. We could not wish for a better or safer place for our son to be.
I can not fault the service provided by the manager and staff at Honeybrook House. My son has been at this establishment for 9 years, and his needs and requests are always met with a professional approach and great care. I could not ask for a better place for my son to live.
Our son has been a resident of this care home for many years and since the new management has taken over we have seen a marked improvement in both the running of the home and our son's behaviour and quality of life.
My son has been a resident at Honeybrook House for 12 years. Throughout that time he has received a high level of care and attention. Over a period of 12 years, he has, of course, had a number of key workers. Notwithstanding this, they have always displayed a remarkable insight into his character and I feel that this reflects on the quality of their training. They consistently demonstrate an enthusiasm and originality when it comes to finding appropriate and stimulating activities for him whilst, at the same time, preserving the routines which are so important to him.
My son has been resident at Honeybrook House for 18 months. He has received excellent care at the home in the past few months under the new manager who has led a very talented and caring staff team. They have all made a great effort to meet the needs of my son who has severe learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour. I am especially impressed by the way each service user is treated as an individual and programmes and strategies are set up to address individual needs and desires. The home is well run and relatives input is encouraged and welcomed. Where staff require further training in specific areas, this is addressed and training delivered.
