View Full Details of Teme Court Care HomeA close friend and neighbour who I cared for, went into residential care at Teme Court Care Home. He was a bright, intelligent old gentleman, who could no longer cope alone. He spent his last years before his death with the wonderful, warm and caring staff at Teme Court Care Home. He enjoyed his time there, the staff and the food. I was always treated with kindness and respect when visiting. We went out when possible. Thank you Teme Court, it meant so much to both of us.
Our Mum was resident a of Teme Court for 4 years, and the improvements made under new management have been evident. In our family's eyes, the most important aspect of Mum's care has been the Staff, and the Staff at Teme Court have been wonderful in providing loving care, treating Mum with dignity and respect, and always having a cuddle with her, warm words. Our Mum loved that it was a small home, so it felt intimate and friendly. During the last few days of Mum's life, Staff went above and beyond and supported us as a whole family. They ensured our mum's end was peaceful and pain-free. We cannot thank them enough, and we have valued their care of Mum, making her last few years happy and safe. Thank you.
Teme Court has made some really good improvements to the building itself over the last few years, which has made visiting a much more pleasant experience. The team has also improved massively under the management, and they provide fantastic care for my mum. Communication is very good, which I really appreciate. Thank you.
Good staff, all very helpful and welcoming, who show obvious care for the residents.
Very satisfied with the care received. All the staff are very friendly, excellent.
200 words seem not enough to be able to describe Teme Court Care Home. My husband has been in here a few months now, I cannot fault the staff and the management, they work endlessly to provide the very best of care for him and all other residents. Nothing is too much trouble. The level of care in my eyes is one of the best I've ever seen. Having worked in this line of work myself, I know what to look for and I don't have to look, it's an amazing place.
My mum moved last year. We thought we were going to lose her. The staff is amazing, can't do enough for my mum and the others. They make all the family welcome. They have so much going on to keep Mum's mind busy, she never gets bored. The food is amazing and it is so clean here. The care is amazing! This is the best place for Mum! Would not send her anywhere else!
As a retired nurse I was understandably somewhat anxious about my brother's move to a residential home. Teme Court very soon allayed all anxiety. My brother is cared for wonderfully. His very individual physical and mental needs are met with humour, empathy and kindness by staff. He is treated with respect and recognised as the person he was and that he still shows glimpses of. All the staff members work together as a team to provide my brother with this high level of individualised care. His wife and family are also kept fully informed and involved in all aspects of my brother's care. The physical building, following the recent renovations, now provides a bright clean and fresh space which supports the comfortable friendly atmosphere of the whole house. My thanks to all members of the Teme Team for making this possible.
Teme Court was undergoing renovations when Mum became a resident. These are complete now and it turned out lovely. The staff are very attentive and welcoming, no one was left waiting for any length of time and meals were varied and plentiful. Modern rooms with newly fitted bathrooms were bright and functional with stair or lift access to the first floor. The owners were generally always on hand if the staff could not answer a query. No garden access which was a bit of a letdown.
Mum has been at Teme Court Care Home for 3 years now. Over this time she has been consistently looked after courteously and with dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful smiley staff, always so helpful, and accommodating. The food provided looks first class with excellent choices different every day. With my thanks and my family for your first-class care.
The staff at Teme Court Care Home are such an amazing team. I cannot praise them enough for their kindness and caring to my uncle for the years that he was a resident with them. The care home manager and the director were always there to give, not only my uncle but myself also, the support when times were difficult.
Since the appointment of the new manager and new owner, this has changed substantially the management and improvements to the care home from poor to excellent.
I have been visiting a friend here for 7 years and has been well cared for. Since a change in management, there is a noticeable difference. There is a happy friendly atmosphere with carers always visible and ready to help. The new decor in the entrance hall and visitors lounge is beautiful. I cannot comment on activities as my friend does not want to do 'activities'. Always welcomed with a smile when I visit.
During the 12 months my mother has been a resident at Teme Court she has settled in well, after living in the family home on her own where she was no longer able to cope. Living distant from Worcester I have been provided with the reassurance that she is being well cared for and her varying needs, she has good days and bad days temperament-wise, is always met, by professional and caring staff. On my phone calls to chat with mum I invariably get a summary of how she has been for the past few days from the staff member before speaking to mum. I have yet to discover anything that is too much trouble for the staff to assist with and appreciate the option when visiting to have a private quiet area in which to spend our time. The Manager and Deputy Manager are always very proactive in keeping me updated on any proposed changes to mum's care plan, as well as their intentions for updates and improvements to the already excellent facilities that Teme Court provides for its residents.
My mother has been a resident at Teme Court for almost a year now, and we have always found the staff most helpful, courteous, kind, and caring. Nothing is too much trouble, including booking visits for other relatives who live some distance away when they wish to visit. The Manager and Deputy Manager in particular always keep me included in any changes to Mum's care plan, outcome of chats with medical staff from the GP Practice, etc. Unfortunately Mum's condition varies but the staff have a good understanding of her needs and mood changes in particular, and deal with her accordingly in a very polite, caring, and nurturing way. The home is always clean and tidy, and is currently undergoing a lot of refurbishment. I would thoroughly recommend Teme Court to anyone looking for a home from home placement for an elderly relative.
Teme Court is always spotlessly clean and 'smell-free'. Staff are most welcoming, efficient and extremely caring, nothing being too much trouble for them. Management and staff are constantly around checking on resident wellbeing and very open to suggestions for improvement and if needed they are done speedily and efficiently. Ideas for the betterment of residents' comfort and enrichment are ever at the forefront. I would therefore, without hesitation, recommend Teme Court Care Home to anyone with a loved one or relative needing care.
Contacted the home to ask for emergency help with my wife, management was happy to help me and, even though they did not have an available room, they offered me the option of daycare instead. This has helped us massively as we are not yet ready for full-time care. She is now able to get to enjoy the home and staff. All staff have been great and she enjoys spending days there for company.
Great care home, amazing, friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend it. Very clean and tidy. Always welcome to visit. My Grandad loved it there, even though he didn't want to leave his home.
My mother has been a resident at Teme Court now for while, it is never easy to accept any family member having to go into care, however, I must say from the start of the process until the present, the management have been most accommodating, understanding and literally, nothing is ever too much trouble. All the staff are so supportive and communication is fantastic. As well as having Dementia, my mother also had weight issues but is settled and putting weight on now. This has put us at ease, as a family. The home is currently going through a refurbishment which is very well planned and causing no disruption to the home. We are looking forward to seeing the end result - so much hard work going into it.
My Dad came to Teme Court for respite as his Dementia was worsening and he was wandering and getting very confused. He has now been assessed as needing full-time residential care and I most definitely want him to stay at Teme Court. They are an amazing group of very caring people, with an extremely strong, confident and experienced management team. Communication is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. It is very traumatic having to face putting a parent into care, especially when they do not wish to go but the manager and her team understood all of that and provided amazing support to me and Dad's community support worker. Since he went there, he has settled really well, made friends and interacts with both staff and other residents. I have not seen him this happy in years. He feels safe and there is a good structure, meals and activities. He is never told he has to do things, he gets to make his own choices and he is treated with great respect and dignity.
