View Full Details of Hinstock Manor Care HomeAt the age of 95, registered blind, hard of hearing and very frail, Mum could no longer remain in her own home and moved into Hinstock Manor Care Home. She had a lovely, large bedroom with ensuite facilities and was encouraged to personalise it with items that were important to her. The staff were very caring, compassionate, attentive and friendly and did everything they could to ensure Mum was well looked after. Sadly, Mum passed away recently, but I would like to thank everyone at Hinstock Manor, including the lovely reception staff, the carers and the management team for everything they did for her during the 14 months she was with them.
Grandad was admitted to Hinstock Manor Care Home in May 2024 after a spell in hospital. Throughout his time there he had many laughs with the staff and was looked after at a very high standard. During his end of life pathway the staff treated him with respect and dignity and made it as comfortable as possible. I want to give a special mention to four members of staff in particular for going up and beyond. This care home has changed the way I looked at care homes and actually couldn't recommend it any more. Thanks.
My wife went into Hinstock Manor care home for two weeks' respite and was in there for five weeks where she was very well looked after by the staff. The home was very friendly and well-run.
From the time my mom entered Hinstock Manor Care Home for respite, the manager and the staff were amazing. Mom was there for 6 weeks and the staff went above and beyond for her. Even when family and friends went we were made so very welcome. Mom would have stayed there but it was a little out of the way for us. Anyone going into Hinstock Manor don't worry you will be cared for by the very best.
Hinstock Manor has been so supportive and professional with all care needs for Mum, she was made comfortable to the very end when she passed. The staff went above and beyond for Mum as Mum deteriorated, we as a family would like to thank them all for looking after Mum and we took flowers and a thank you card to them.
Since Mum's return from hospital following a spell of pneumonia and the following palliative care provided and appointed by the staff at Hinstock Manor has been lovely. Not only to Mum but also to us, her family. Particular thanks goes to the manager who has shown kindness and empathy in bucket loads. All staff at Hinstock Manor have given us the love to deal with a difficult time in our lives.
My mum had to go into care following the onset of confusion in June 2018 and the subsequent deterioration in her capacity to look after herself at home. She was made to feel very welcome, had a room that was appropriate for her needs and received personal attention that was sensitive to her situation. Over the six years that she has been there, her needs have changed, and the level of care required has increased. Carers and all the staff such as housekeeping, kitchen, activities and reception have been perceptive of these changes and adapted the care, attention and room facilities afforded to her. As age and frailty overcame her, everyone went out of their way to provide care and comfort during her inevitable demise. As a family, we were afforded every facility, and it always felt as though we were visiting Mum at home and not in a care home. We can only praise the caring and supportive outlook of everyone at the home, who created a welcoming environment that made us all feel 'at home'.
The staff here are wonderful - they have looked after my father for over 12 months since his stroke. He has a tendency to wander about and hide - at all times of day and night (like he’s playing games) but they deal with him with great humour and tenderness. There are plenty of activities to participate in - or not! There is also a social page so that relatives and friends can keep up with what they are doing even if they can’t get there as often as they’d like. I have nothing but great respect for all the staff - always there with a smile and a comforting shoulder, should you need it! It’s like family.
Since my first visit to Hinstock Manor Care Home in March 2023. I remain impressed especially the welcoming reception given by staff and the reassurance and ready help of your dedicated carers. Two of my dearest friends are resident at Hinstock Manor Care Home and have no hesitation in the recommendation of your care home.
Good quality care and an impressive range of activities to stimulate and entertain the residents.
Helpful and friendly staff. Always respond to requests to follow up any queries. Clean and tidy care home. My friend is well looked after and his wife is welcomed into the home when she and I visit. Perhaps as visitors, we do not see all the communal activities but when we last visited there was a musician providing music and singing which caused a buzz in the room. Please keep this up within your budget and time restraints.
My mother-in-law is very happy at Hinstock Manor Care Home. Staff are very caring, friendly, attentive and available. The home is always warm, clean and welcoming. The resident's physical, emotional and health needs are well cared for.
My mother has been a resident at the care home for the last 18 months. She is always treated with respect and care. The staff ensure that she maintains her dignity. She is always well cared for both physically and emotionally. The home is clean and warm with a nutritious and varied daily food menu. The staff are kind and considerate and always address my mother by name. They ensure that there are daily activities to keep residents occupied and motivated. The care manager is always available and very helpful.
Christmas has always been for all our family a special time and this would be the first one that my husband and I have been apart on Christmas day for sixty two years, our diamond wedding anniversary is in August 2023. After spending the day with him for a lovely Christmas lunch I feel that he is well cared for with kindness and understanding by all at Hinstock Manor.
I now have complete peace of mind and total confidence Dad is being looked after with kindness and compassion. Every aspect is good, from the tasty and nutritious home cooking to the kindness and care of all the staff.
Hinstock Manor is a very caring home. My father loves the food and has put on some much-needed weight since hs started there. It is cheerful, clean and bright.
Hinstock Manor is a real gem of a place, it's like a five-star hotel for elderly, disabled and infirm people. I researched and visited numerous care homes when my wife and myself had to put her father into care. Hinstock Manor is head and shoulders better than any other place we visited. The premises are well kept, clean and bright. The rooms are spotless and the staff likewise are always well presented. Every single member of the team make you feel like they are very proud of the service they provide and so they should be! The friendliness of Hinstock Manor starts with the receptionist and is continued by every other member of staff you speak to and is simply amazing. I cannot thank them enough for the way in which they look after my In-Laws. Food is homemade by the in-house chefs and is plentiful and wholesome. Beverages are always available and there is enough staff at all times to keep these standards high. Well done to all your staff, I cannot recommend you highly enough!
This care home is exceptional, in every way. It’s is clean, welcoming and most of all has the most wonderful, caring and kind staff. We could not be happier with the care they give to my Father. It’s very hard to place someone close to you in care, however, when we visit him he says he is well looked after and loves the home. My Dad has acute Alzheimer’s and can be quite demanding and a real handful at times and we know how hard he can be to cope with. All the staff, without exception, are patient, kind and caring towards him. He has an excellent room and he himself is always clean and tidy. We are very lucky to have found Hinstock Manor. We had previously looked at other care homes and none of them matches the standards of this one,
Everything at Hinstock Manor is excellent.
Everyone at Hinstock Manor is very helpful and supportive to my mother and myself. Care is excellent, food is very good and drinks are always available and encouraged. Also, there are lots of activities going on to help stimulate the elderly.
