View Full Details of Kingsley Rest Home LtdMum was placed at Kingsley Rest Home as she had become unsafe to herself. The placement became permanent and was more luck than judgment. Mum has become so happy and is gaining weight (always a good sign) I took Dad to visit Mum on Friday. We went to her bedroom, which was very clean and lovely. I live in Gloucester therefore to get to Stoke takes some organisation as I am also a carer for my husband. Photos of the patients are put on social media most days where I can see Mum and also see how happy she is. An amazing home and a great service. Thank you!
The home environment is caring with dedicated staff. It is well run and the food served it of good quality. It delivers personalised flexible care rather than sticking to routine. Some staff go above and beyond their job description.
My aunt had been a resident for approximately 6 years and during that time has been well cared for and treated with dignity. I was always kept well informed of her health and any concerns were reported to me straight away.
All care provided has been very good. Very good emotional support for my father under very difficult circumstances and also the support they have given us, as a family, has been excellent.
Staff very friendly, always welcoming. Lovely bedrooms, residents always seem happy.
Everyone is very friendly and caring. My dad has been very happy here and settled in really well thanks to the kindness of the staff.
Lovely team of staff looking after my father-in-law, showing excellent care, respect and dignity. Always very helpful and polite. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff here. They do a wonderful job. Thank you.
Mum has been residing at Kingsley Rest Home since January 2019. From her first day, she settled with ease. All staff very caring towards Mum, which meant that we, as a family, were happy and reassured that she was being cared for with dignity that she deserves. No concerns with management who are always attentive and any issues they deal with straight away professionally. Well done. Keep up the high standards.
Fantastic care provided, suitable clinical intervention requested and management of acute condition was superb. Staff friendly and approachable.
I am always met and received by friendly staff when I visit my relative. Every one seems caring and attentive to her. She always appears clean and well dressed and happy. Her room is clean and well looked after when I have visited it for some reason. Mealtimes seem well organised and drinks/snacks encouraged.
When ringing to enquire about my mum, the carers that I spoke to were always helpful and you could tell that they knew the person that we were asking about, which stems from the fact that the home is smaller, which we liked.
My fathers care has been of the highest standard that I could have asked for. The staff have ALL been attentive to his needs, I think this has been the best rest home that I could have picked and give the staff full praise for the attention they give to the small details.
Dad originally went into respite on 14 Feb 19 in a different care home. He didn't settle. He was then moved to Kingsley Care Home. I visited him daily. I never at any time had a complaint. His health deteriorated gradually and the home coped with every event that happened. They made his stay very comfortable and he was very happy to be in the home. He eventually was sent to hospital from where he never returned to Kingsley.
From the moment we brought my father-in-law, we have been very, very happy with the care and kindness he has received. He could not have been treated any better anywhere. Our grateful thanks to all staff and carers.
Very nice stay. Staff very nice. Very good place to rest.
My sisters and I are very happy with everything they do for our father. He settled in very well. Home from home, a friendly place. All staff are there to help us as well as dad. All very friendly.
My brother-in-law has been in Kingsley since last year. I know my sister was worried/concerned about her decision, although being advised and knowing herself that she would not be able to look after her husband. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and caring, everything you should expect from a care home and what you wish for your family member.
My husband has been in Kingsley since October and from my first visit have felt happy an comfortable with the care given to him by the staff and management. It's a happy atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and interact with the residents. The bedrooms and communal rooms are all kept spotlessly clean. (No smells). Speaking to residents and their families who have been in a while all sing the praises of the staff and the home which is a good recommendation to me. Any concerns I do have are all dealt with efficiently and promptly.
My mother had been a resident since August 2017. She was partially sighted and had limited mobility. Mum felt comfortable and content. She had confidence in the carers and other staff. As a daily visitor, I was made to feel welcome amongst the residents and staff. There was a family atmosphere due to the small number of residents. Home cooked meals and cleanliness add to my satisfaction that Mum was well cared for and happy.
Always very welcoming, staff lovely and my sister-in-law is always clean. Very happy for her to be looked after here.
