My husband spent two weeks respite at Wall Hill. He told me that he was very happy there as he felt safe, comfortable and cared for. The staff were professional and caring, it was well managed, the food was delicious and he would happily stay there again. Due to his dementia he is going to need regular respite and I have no concerns or worries about him staying at Wall Hill. It is a difficult decision to place your husband of 30 years in to a care home for respite, but I feel reassured and confident that the staff at Wall Hill will treat him with dignity and respect.
The staff at Wall Hill are amazing, went to see my mum today, and you can tell how much the carers think so much of the residents and vice versa. The carers having the time to explain what's happening to the dementia residents when they were getting ready for dinner, and a dementia resident asking if they lived there now and the carer reassuring her. Also the fun and laughter they have with each other was lovely to see. I know my mum is looked after so well.
Exemplary care, loving staff, clean and superb through Covid. The food is all homemade. Mum was looked after wonderfully in her stay of nearly four years there until she sadly died. The staff were with her when she passed away before I could get there. Would recommend Wall Hill to anyone wishing for a homely, loving environment for their loved one.
