Extremely pleased with the care my Mum receives at Wilbraham House. The staff/team show compassion and understand the individual needs of the residents and make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
My Mum came to Wilbraham House in October and arrived in a very bad state of mine. Since being there she has improved significantly and now eats and is comfortable and secure in her surroundings. The staff have been very welcoming and supportive towards myself and more importantly my Mum. I am constantly kept up to date with how she is through either a phone call or through the App. I am safe in the knowledge that she is been well cared for.
Mum seem seems to be treated very well, she seems happy and has a good relationship with the staff. She has managed to form friendships and seems happy to sit and chat with them in the lounge. The staff are always polite and it's never a problem for us to pick her up anytime to go out or just a visit in there. We are updated regularly on her care and upkeep.
We are very satisfied with my brother's care. Manager is excellent, always available to speak to and deal with any problems. Staff caring and attentive overall my brother is very happy living there.
Excellent service from the staff. Great care given to my mother who has dementia and so has good days and bad. Excellent communication from both staff and management. Have totally recommended the home to others for their family. The app is very good as I get 3 reports every day, appertaining to my mother.
Very well run home. My father is always very happy, well cared for. The staff are really kind and helpful. I am able to access online notes daily so can see how he is getting on, this is a great comfort.
All staff went above and beyond to assure me and assist Mum in her time of need when she was taken ill. Also, all staff have met Mum's needs during her recovery after her illness and been very patient with Mum's needs.
First-class service offered to my mother from the first day she went into Wilbraham House. All the members of staff and the management have given nothing but first-class care. We are always kept updated regarding my Mother and all her health care needs are met. We would have no hesitation in telling others about this care home.
Although Mum was only in the care home for a short time the care that she received was wonderful. From the day that she went into the home the staff looked after her so well. Mum was taken out for lunch on her birthday and was able to participate in other activities. I can highly recommend the care home, if every town and city had a place like this the world would be a better place.
My sister has stayed here a few times now and also feels like part of their family. They are all really nice to her and she loves coming. I feel so settled that she is in here, as with her brain damage I worry about her but they go above and beyond with her care needs.
The staff are very friendly, and all residents seem very happy and comfortable whenever I visit, which is nice and peace of mind that our step mum is happy and does state this upon visits. I would just like to thank all the staff and the manager for all their hard work and caring nature.
My mother has dementia, and listening to other people, and reading about dementia care, we thought we were faced with a huge problem when her partner became unwell. We had to do something very quickly to find care for mum, but luckily we knew about the manager and her staff at Wilbraham House due to a connection with someone else in the home. It was a Saturday evening, and they did everything to help, settling Mum within a matter of hours into her new environment. The staff are 100% caring and nothing is too much for them to do. I can honestly say that my mother’s true personality has shone through over the last few months and I’m lucky to say that she has a remarkable life. Wilbraham is now her home, all her needs are being taken care of within Wilbraham, but she is still able to enjoy life away from the home with her partner and family. On behalf of myself and my family, I can’t thank you enough.
Superb quality of care has been provided to my son, who is a permanent resident. The rooms are homely, and the staff are wonderful. The management team work effectively and swiftly to answer any questions. My son is treated with the dignity and respect he should be treated with and has settled into his new home with ease.
Excellent. Do I need to say anymore?
The manager and her team stepped in when we needed them most on a weekend for emergency respite care. This emergency respite care has turned into a permanent residence for my dad's partner, and I have witnessed the amazing team led by the manager supporting us all the way. Without the manager's leadership and wonderful team, the transition that we experienced very quickly would have been so stressful. Not only has my dad's partner been cared for with dignity and compassion, but the team here provides support to the whole family, going above and beyond what I had ever imagined. Thank you all for everything that you do.
I have been very impressed by the help and support we have been given by the Management Team and staff at Wilbraham House. They go above and beyond to help with any queries and have put our minds at rest as regards the care provided. Nothing is too much trouble. This is a very busy environment (witnessed by myself on several occasions) and staff cope admirably under such pressure. Their expertise makes it easier for us to know that loved ones are safe and well looked after. The care they provide is excellent.
The staff are extremely pleasant and welcoming. My mum is treated with the utmost respect. The staff can't do enough for my mum and other residents.
All the staff are very kind and helpful to visitors and my nan, as well as polite and outgoing. The home itself is a very clean environment and seems to be a good place to be when you reach that stage in life.
My dad spent the last few months of his life in the care of Wilbraham House. The care he received during this time was outstanding, it was a home from home for him. All the staff treated him with such good care, we as a family have nothing but praise for them all. Dad's final days were spent in hospital and the care home manager visited and showed great care and compassion to Dad and our family.
