As a family, we feel totally reassured that our mother is receiving excellent care provided by Trentside Manor Care Home. Each time we visit, we are met by a team of friendly and welcoming staff. We are kept well informed and any health concerns are dealt with immediately. Mum settled in very quickly, this being the result of the initial care and attention she received. We would have no hesitation in recommending Trentside Manor to others.
My dad was not to well when he moved into the home, but with the love, care and attention he was shown by all the amazing staff, who are so warm, kind and friendly and that nothing seems too much trouble for, he got back to a place I didn't think possible. He is treated with dignity and respect and is looked after like he is their own family. The home is clean and well maintained and the food is excellent. I know choosing a care home is hard but I would recommend this place to anyone and I just want to say a massive thank you for the incredible work they do.
From the moment my mum entered the home she was looked after like she was family. We cannot thank the staff enough for all the help and love shown.
This home is up there with the best from looking after my mother-in-law to keeping us informed, nothing is too much trouble for them. Top people, top home.
My mum admitted for respite. Within seven days looked well and cared for. Staff caring and considerate of Mum's needs. Home clean and appeared well-organised and staffed. Residents looked healthy and clean.
My dad stayed here for one week of respite. All I can say is that for someone who has never been away from home, my dad was treated fabulously and enjoyed the experience. The food was all lovely. Staff very caring and attentive. Would not hesitate to let Dad stay here again. Thank you to the manager and team for looking after Dad so well, as it was a worry for us. Thank you. Highly recommended.
Currently, my nan resides at this home and so far we are as a family pleased with the care she is receiving. Unfortunately, she had a period of time in the hospital which they wanted to fast-track back to the care home. They were really supportive and nothing was too much trouble at the home. Because she is currently bedbound I do wonder if anyone sits and spends time with her. We as a family visit but that would be my only thoughts. Overall I feel she is well cared for and the staff are great towards my nan and family visiting.
Very good, my mum was with you for ten days. I wasn't looking forward to it but she settled very well considering. The staff were second to none. Friendly reassuring and caring, I would definitely use this home again if possible. My mum had the best 24 hour care I could have wished for.
I phoned to get an emergency bed for the night due to carer's illness. The staff were extremely professional and took the time to take down many personal details that made my mother-in-law's stay much easier and enjoyable.
My brother has respite at Trentside Manor Care Home and he says he loves going there as the staff are so friendly, always seeing to all his needs. He also loves the food and the staff let him help, e.g. small jobs like helping lay the table, and he feels part of the staff. My brother has various health problems and the staff see to medication and everything else and he feels well looked after.
Lovely care home, not too large so it retains the personal touch. Dad has settled in over the past few months and is very comfortable there, with lots of familiar pictures and ornaments in his room. The staff are friendly and caring, treating residents as individuals and making sure they quickly get to know each person’s preferences. We are finally able to relax a little, knowing Dad is well looked after.
I would give the care home 10 out of 10. Very efficient. They are beautiful caring and understanding. The hygiene is excellent and the professional attitude is second to none. It is a wonderful place for anyone to be.
I have nothing but praise for the staff at Trentside Manor. Through all of the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic etc. I found the staff to be exemplary. The care home is clean, has a homely and welcoming atmosphere and the service offered by the staff is truly commendable. My mother was a resident there for seven years, until her passing recently. Even during her final days and hours the staff were most caring and understanding. I could not have asked for more. I can only give them a big thank you.
Trentside Manor helped us at a very difficult time as my dad is Mum's main carer and was rushed into hospital. They went out of their way to accommodate Mum on a late Friday night. They welcomed her at the door and made her feel welcome. Mum stayed for two weeks and was extremely happy. Mum would still be there if it was closer to home.
Excellent care home. Small and personable and the staff are caring and friendly. My mum is healthy and well cared for. She is very content in the care home. The management team keep me well informed of my mum's wellbeing.
Always found the staff pleasant and helpful, and the resident is clean and nicely dressed. Noted that if medical attention is required, this has been dealt with immediately.
Trentside Manor Care Home is exactly what it says on the tin, it is a home. The care is excellent and not just like it's their job like the staff are family and they really do care about my mum. They spot the earliest signs of her being unwell so can nip it in the bud, they see her moods coming so can avoid most of the tantrums. They look after her like she was their mum. I can't praise them enough. Carers and management alike, excellent in all aspects.
Staff are pleasant and helpful and quick to inform us of any problems with my mother (aged 106) medical needs are met. Residents are well cared for with a good laundry service. Meals are varied with special occasions i.e. birthdays marked with a party. A hairdresser visits each week. The home is well run, pleasant and value for money.
Excellent home. Mother settled in very quickly. Great staff, very friendly. 10 out of 10 for me.
