View Full Details of Attleborough GrangeWe are very happy with Attleborough Grange. The attention to care for residents is of a very high quality, focused on each individual receiving the care they need. The staff are knowledgable, kind and caring. This gives us confidence that our mother is being well looked after, and above all treated with respect and love.
A wonderful care home, with a lovely friendly staff, very pleasant rooms, and communal areas. My mother has a lovely room with lovely views of the garden. The app allows me to see how my mother is morning noon and night. Hospital visits are taken care of, and a hairdresser is available weekly plus other personal care services. The food is very good and varied.
My mother has been in one other care home prior to going into this care home. The care and support in the previous care home is not as good as her current care home and the support is outstanding.
My mother has been in Attleborough Grange for over six years, and if it wasn't for the care and love they give my mum, she would have died a long time ago -absolutely brilliant - 10-star. I would recommend Attleborough Grange to anyone.
Mum spent the last four and half years of her life at Attleborough Grange. She was well looked after which I will always be thankful for. There are some first class people employed at Attleborough Grange who treated her very well until the very end, even attending her funeral recently.
Attleborough Grange Care Home is a wonderful place. They took my mum in and have helped her in so many ways. The support and care of the staff have gone above and beyond in making my mum feel comfortable and at home. My mum suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and some mental health issues and the care home have been so understanding and amazing in dealing with her despite the challenges of her behaviour. I have seen my mum's mental and physical state improve drastically in a short amount of time since going to this care home. The people here truly care and are extremely supportive and caring. The staff are well trained in supporting and caring for her physical and mental needs and have given me the peace of mind knowing she is well taken care of. I can not praise this care home enough and am truly grateful for them. Want to say a big thank you to the team at Attleborough Grange, you're doing a great job and I'm so happy and blessed to have found such an amazing care home for my mum.
My husband spent the last months of his life with excellent care and friendship, secure and happy. An excellent variety of nourishing food cooked on the premises and amounts eaten are monitored by staff. I could not fault the excellent interaction by staff and the regular feedback to relatives. A lovely place to spend your days, whether in respite care or permanent care - highly recommended.
We moved Mum into Attleborough Grange in January 2022 as she needed safe and secure 24 hour care. It was a difficult decision but it has been a very good one for Mum and the family. We've found that it's a kind and friendly place and the support and care that Mum receives has made a positive difference to her health and wellbeing. She has a lovely room at the front of the building and enjoys watching the people and traffic go by. She's been out on trips and enjoys activities with the other residents and carers. Mum really enjoys the meals too. Our family has especially benefitted from the online relatives portal where we can see reports of her daily life and care, as one son lives abroad, so we can all feel involved.
The staff at the rest home are very friendly and helpful and I appreciate the fact that they have longevity in their roles as my mother responds to them and they have understood her journey to get there. The food is pretty good and appears tasty. I would like to see my mum on more outings but I think this had been affected by the pandemic. I would also like to see encouragement of her using the walker instead of being wheel chaired about as I think it doesn’t help her in the long term. However I do appreciate the staffing issues and work volumes and the need to get things done as soon as the staff can. In short I think mum is well respected and taken care of by the lovely team.
Found carers to be very helpful and they are looking after Mum very well, she is very confused and they and the carers handle her in a very appropriate manner. Mum is now in a safe place and is being cared for very well.
My mum was not in a good place, with depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Although unsettled at first, Mum is now very happy in her new home. She is being a mother hen to the other, less capable residents upstairs. She doesn’t want for anything, and the staff and careers are so kind. I’m glad we chose Attleborough Grange.
Very happy with the care given to my mum over the last eighteen months. It is the hardest thing we ever had to do putting Mum into care. The app gives us daily updates of all activities, meals, and interaction with staff and residents. There is always someone to talk to if needed and very helpful in every way.
We have had amazing ongoing care for my mum. I couldn’t ask for better care. All of the staff are professional and go above and beyond with caregiving. There is regular entertainment and a singer which provides good engagement.
Mum has been a resident for four years now since my dad died. She has dementia and her short-term memory is now virtually non-existent although her long-term memory of when she was a child is still good. She struggles with understanding why she is in the home and despite reassurance given to her by the staff and by us when we visit, unfortunately, she can often be very challenging in behaviour. The carers are extremely patient with her despite this and are always very cheerful and friendly and they do their utmost to try and make her happy. The home is well-maintained and very clean and there are often activities and events for the residents to take part in if they wish. We felt very secure with the procedures in place during Covid and lockdown to keep everyone safe and would certainly recommend Attleborough Grange to anyone who is looking for residential care either for themselves or for a loved one. Thank you to everyone who plays a part in looking after Mum.
Have always been kept updated about all aspects of Mum's care and the staff are always helpful and pleasant. Food always looks appetising and the staff are always ready and willing to help with any problems. The room is always tidy and she always seems comfortable. She gets scared very easily and the staff do a good job of settling her.
Mum was transferred to Attleborough Grange after a five-week stay in hospital. She has been there for eight weeks to recover and is now back home. The staff have all been excellent in helping Mum feel cared for and supported and is a lot happier within herself after receiving lots of affection and care during her time there. Thank you from our family.
Everyone at the home has made my aunty feel safe, wanted and welcome since she was transferred from hospital. The manager has done everything possible to ensure the placement is permanent. There has been a noticeable improvement in my aunties well-being since she started at the home. The family are grateful for all of the support we have received.
Dad went into Attleborough Grange initially on a 10-day Respite Stay and is currently now residing on a Self Funding basis. The Manager, carers, and staff have all been very welcoming and kind in helping dad to settle in. Information has been given to me on certain things that happen on a regular basis in case any of them are of interest to dad. Dad, and us as a family, are still in a transition period and the staff are aware of this and understanding of it. It is very comforting to know that dad is in a safe environment, being well cared for. My dad has a good sense of humour and I am sure the carers will be able to see this once he settles. Thank you to everyone for helping us at a difficult time when we were struggling to provide this level of care to dad at home.
Mum's assessment from hospital to home was done in a professional manner. The move was very quick, hospital to home the following day. She seems to have settled in very well staff are all very helpful and friendly. Initially, it's for respite although it may become permanent
Mum has been in the care home since Feb 2021. A very tough decision for us to make but the care and consideration given to Mum is wonderful. The staff are amazing and mum is happy in her 'home' and well cared for. Thank you to all the staff.
