View Full Details of Bracebridge CourtWe have nothing but thanks and praise for Bracebridge court. My auntie was only with them 10months but had exceptional and outstanding care. Even though she had dementia she requested to go in this care home living in Atherstone all her life she knew how good it was. All of the staff are so pleasant and caring I recall one Saturday afternoon one of the carers announced Sunday lunch would be beef and all the trimmings which got a great response .Also the manager and another member of staff in particular were so helpful and went above and beyond to help my dad who also is elderly to make the situation as straightforward and helping my auntie stay where she was happy and contented. Many thanks .
I was enormously grateful for the care given to my mother by all of the staff at Bracebridge Court. They were kind, gentle, attentive and provided a warm and homely atmosphere.
Brilliant care and attention from the carers. Dad needs help as he has Parkinson's and nothing was too much trouble. Made us feel relaxed and was able to cope. Thank you so much.
We had a lovely visit today - joined in the bingo activities with other residents. We also stayed over lunchtime, that was excellent. We left as our friend was going to a cooking class.
My mother was in Bracebridge Court for twelve days respite. Her overall experience was very good and she enjoyed her time there. She was well looked after and the food was very good. She particularly enjoyed the activities which stimulated her as she spends long periods alone at home. When outside, attention was paid to the residents with hats, suncream and refreshments. Thank you Bracebridge for making Mum's stay enjoyable.
Since moving to Bracebridge Court last year, my mum is looked after very well. All staff are friendly and extremely caring. I feel reassured that her needs are met and gives myself and family reassurance too. Staff treat my mum with dignity and has a very good rapport with staff. Rooms are clean and spacious, food is good and adapts to dietary requirements. Overall, a fabulous place for elderly needs.
When coming in, it is very clean and the staff are always welcoming to me. The home does always smell nice. The staff always go the extra mile when it is birthdays and anniversaries, they always invite me for a meal and I spend time with my husband, making memories. The food is really nice and my husband eats well.
Mum has been a resident in Bracebridge Court for just over eighteen months. Her care during this time has been excellent. The whole team; managers, carers, activity organiser, administrator and support staff, are all very caring and approachable. Last week Mum celebrated her 105th birthday and everyone went over and above to make her day as enjoyable as possible. The home is well-run. Rooms are pleasant and well equipped and all areas are spotlessly clean. We often comment how pleased we are that we chose Bracebridge Court for Mum.
Bracebridge Court is great. My dad is very well cared for and the staff are always kind and pleasant. They know him well and do their best to look after him. His memory is failing but they are always patient and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is a good range of activities on offer and the well-being coordinator is thoughtful and kind. She tries hard to provide specific activities which will interest the different residents. My dad used to work on a farm so she arranged for him to see the local Tractor Run before Christmas. The Manager is a good listener and takes decisive action when necessary. If I am concerned about any aspect of my dad's care (which is rare) then I am confident that she will sort things out quickly and effectively. All in all, I am very happy with Bracebridge Court.
Participated in the coffee morning. Also the bingo and singing. Staff make you feel very relaxed in the home environment. My mum joins in almost everything activity-wise. Pop in the home every day, lots of laughter. Relaxed atmosphere. Pop in for a coffee anytime.
Bracebridge is a lovely, comfortable care home where our mum, who is very anxious, has settled very well in the four months that she has been here. We are very pleased overall and Mum is very settled and joining in more with the great activities set each week. Mum looks so well and overall we would recommend this care home to family and friends.
My mother-in-law has advanced dementia. We had been caring for her at home for three years. After a sudden and unexpected admission to the hospital, it became difficult to cope once she was discharged. We had been considering respite because, as a family, it was getting difficult to give the care that was needed. At first, it was really hard to make the move into care, so we had a month's trial. The change after only a few days at the home amazed us. We decided it was much better for us all, and the care and attention have really helped. The home has been the best thing for us all.
Bracebridge Court is an excellent residential home. My mum used it for about seven weeks after being in hospital. The staff are excellent and very caring. My mum is now living independently. I would highly recommend Bracebridge Court.
Bracebridge Court was a real find as it provided everything we were looking for in caring for my father. The staff were extremely pleasant and attentive and the home was well run and spotlessly clean. The facilities and layout of the building made it feel very homely and the individual rooms were well appointed.
Mum loved her environment and was very comfortable in her lovely room. The food was wonderful and plentiful. Mum's personal care was very kind and she loved having a bath. Sometimes during the night, Mum had to wait for long periods to have help. Personally, I found the service very good, with adequate communication. My one comment would be that all staff are aware of mobility difficulties with respite residents.
Unfortunately, the 'review policy' very effectively gags people from giving specific details when posting a poor review. All I can say is do not send anyone you care for here! I most definitely do not recommend this place. I would like to say something positive, and the only positive I have is that some of the day staff are very good.
Dad seems very content. The staff treat him with dignity. He loves the food! Good rapport with staff.
Since moving to Bracebridge Court, he has been really well looked after which has been so reassuring for his family. He is generally more animated when we visit and regularly tells us how much he likes the food and how comfortable he is.
Mom is looked after very well. All the staff seem extremely caring and we feel reassured that her needs are met. Mom has had a few falls due to a worsening in her condition, they are mainly happening at night and we have been informed each time. I do wonder if more staff are needed during the night time.
The carers are very kind and helpful. The home is clean, tidy and well organised. Whenever I have a question or query, the staff do their best to help resolve the situation. My dad is happy and well cared for.
