View Full Details of Chamberlaine CourtEvery time I visit my nan, she always seems as comfortable and content as possible in her situation. I am always greeted by friendly and attentive staff. Her room is spotlessly clean and the atmosphere is warm, caring and friendly. We are made to feel part of the Chamberlaine Court family, where my nan is a valued member, always treated with respect and great care. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Chamberlaine Court to others. Thank you all.
I would like to add a review to the one in 2023, my wife has long-term medical, and physical health problems which were sadly affecting her quality of life, so has a family we decided to find her a good care home, and we are lucky to have found Chamberlaine Court, Bedworth. So here we are, the family and my wife are very pleased to say that she has settled in extremely well this is due to excellent care given and the friendly staff, plus good professional care by management and All carers everyone is approachable at any time, she is well looked after what more can I say, but a big thank you to all of you.
Following weekly visits from myself and my sister, everything seems to be running smoothly. We are kept informed of my mother's condition and of any problems, and their solutions, if any occur. I always find the room clean and my mother well card for. Staff are friendly and helpful when required.
My wife has dementia, is bedbound and has food intolerance with which the staff have superbly catered. They have begun to build up a safe and happy environment for her and some have brought joy by getting her to sing with them, enabling her to remember words. However, I have been unable to comment on social activities being committed to her room. It is the greatest wish by staff and myself to hoist her into a wheelchair and to allow her to socialise and perhaps, as she is a pianist, to be involved in music-making. On my perusal of the rooms downstairs, I have been impressed by the facilities and the friendly ambience of both the building and staff.
I want to share how much we appreciate what everyone at Chamberlaine Court has done to help our family through a very difficult time. COVID meant that we could not visit from September, until the very end of Dad's life in December. It was a dreadful time. We were reliant on Dads ‘Angels’ to keep Mum and Dad safe, comfortable and as happy as possible. The staff were always kind and honest with us and took calls from us every day. The love and kindness staff showed to us during this time and since Dad's passing, will never be forgotten. Staff keep us informed about what they have been doing to keep Mum occupied. The love and compassion they provide is every bit as important as everything else that they do to keep her well, safe and happy. With the new Manager, more improvements are happening and the new newsletter explains what events and changes are planned. We were really touched that the dining room has been renamed after my Dads’ family name.
Dad originally came in for respite care and his needs were met so well we decided he should stay. The staff are amazing, always cheerful, friendly and caring towards my dad and the rest of the family. They will call in medical help promptly and when required. The manager is always prepared to discuss my dad's progress in person or on the phone. We don't live in the UK but visit often and are reassured to know Dad is safe, secure, warm, well-fed, has company and is very well looked after in our absence.
The team at Chamberlaine Court pulled out all the stops to celebrate Dad's birthday. Balloons and banners decorated his room and the family were invited to join him for a birthday meal. It means a lot to Dad and us that so much personal attention is given on special occasions.
I had to make a decision and put Mum into a home. When I met with the manager she spoke openly and honestly, I felt I trusted her and made my decision. The staff have all been very caring to Mum and have looked after her well for her needs and were efficient when mum was unwell and needed a doctor.
I was rushed into hospital on 6th March and my husband was taken into Chamberlaine Court for respite but I was so ill I realised I could not look after him anymore. He is now a resident there. He could not be in a better home. I am so impressed with the care he receives there. All the carers to the cleaners I could not fault. Some days when I visit my husband I feel a bit down as we have been married 60 years, but all the staff make me feel better as they care about everyone so much. Thank goodness he is in Chamberlaine Court. God bless all the staff.
My mother has been a resident of this care home for just a few months. When I arrived from Canada to visit her it was with a little trepidation, not knowing what kind of facility she was in and what to expect. However, once I walked into Chamberlaine Court and met the wonderful manager and her staff, it immediately put my mind at ease. The staff are always cheerful, friendly and very caring. They interacted with my mother in a most positive manner and treated her with dignity and respect. She is very fond of her carers and calls them 'my lovely girls'. I am so grateful for the support given to me by the manager during my visit, she always made time to meet with me to discuss my mother's care and to answer any questions that I had. It was heart-wrenching having to leave and return home, but I am reassured in knowing that my mother is in very good hands and that she is being well taken care of. Thank you to all the staff for the tremendous work you do every day!
Mum has only been in the care of Chamberlaine Court for a short time, but the difference in care is so different from where she has moved from. The staff and management are friendly and helpful throughout the home. The manager has tried to reassure the family with mum settling in.
Amazing place. Care was first rate. Staff looked after my aunt. If she had a sniff of a cold, doctors were called. She was a very difficult patient but was handled professionally and finally called it home after being in and out of hospital.
My aunt has been resident at Chamberlaine court since it opened in Febraury 2009 and my mother has been a resident for over 2 years. In general, the level and quality of care is exemplary. There is a pleasant harmony between staff/management and residents and no air of 'institutionalism'. Carers are genuine in their care and dedication to my loved ones and this is reflected in their well-being. There are times when I would like to see staff being more involved in activities with residents to keep them more energised and 'aware'. I am totally satisfied with this well run home.
My mother was looked after very well, the washing of her clothes was very good. Bar for one day when she was very awkward, she always looked smartly presented.
Although the home is fairly old in view of many brand new homes I have visited it more than serves the purpose. No glossy magazine stuff but excellent care from super carers who have been known to come in on their day off to visit new personnel. I cannot speak highly enough of the manager and all her staff.
Although I was only there for a weeks respite I found the staff very friendly and helpful in every way. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, every care was taken to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I enjoyed every meal and was told that if at any time I wasn't happy with any part of the meal that something else would be provided. I could find no faults with any of my stay there and would certainly recommend the home to anyone.
