View Full Details of Drayton CourtMy father-in-law was a resident here for 4 and a half years. It is the nicest, friendlies home I have visited, it is one big family, the staff really care for and know each resident. Nothing is too much I would 100% recommend this home.
My mum moved into Drayton Court in September 2024 as I could no longer care for or meet Mum's needs due to my own illness and work commitments of other family members. My family and I have noticed how much the staff from management, carers, domestic assistants and anyone who helps to meet Mum's care and needs go above and beyond the care they give, to the point that Mum's mental health has improved myself and family are made to feel very welcome when we visit and feel very reassured that Mum is being cared for with empathy dignity and in a professional manner even when stretched in their work load. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a place either for themselves or an other person.
My best friend has had the good fortune to spend the rest of her days at Drayton Court. The exceptional care she has received from the friendly staff and management has been second to none and has now turned her life around. I do not have to worry about her knowing she is looked after so well.
In my home Drayton Court, when visiting, my family express the same which which is everything I wish for, and they would wish for themselves. The care is given with such respect and dignity how can it not deserve 11 out of 10? The staff go above and beyond their duty of care on all levels of staff.
I believe this is better than a 5-star plus hotel. Since arriving I felt very welcomed. I do believe that when I came in I was at end of life, that is only down to the Drayton Court Staff. I am more than happy to stay here till the end of my life.
I became a resident on 16th December 2023. Really pleased. I came to the home and met great staff and other residents.
Sunday morning at the lodge household the staff went above and beyond for my great aunt who is now on end-of-life care, they sat with her, held her hand, and spoke to her, it's just so amazing to see that there not just residents and its not just a job to these carers but they treat residents like there own, it's absolutely amazing and I know my great aunt is in the best hands, I cannot thank the ladies on lodge floor enough for what they have done over the years, thank you so much.
Amazing place. Really looking after Dad, he’s happy and clearly well looked after. Thank you for all you are doing. You have made a difference in all of our lives, especially his. Dad is well fed, kept clean and the staff go beyond caring. As a family, we are so grateful.
Care home staff seem efficient and caring. Problem getting in and out at weekends. Mum always kept clean and spotless.
I have always been happy my wife is in Drayton Court. She is well looked after. I've been unsteady on my feet at the minute and the staff bend over backwards to make my visit to my wife easy for us. The staff look after my wife so well, she looks her best in the last three years. They understand her needs as she can be very challenging at times.
Our mum was cared for by the staff at Drayton Court for the last few months of her life. She was treated with love, respect and dignity by all the amazing staff. As a family we were always welcomed and well looked after and kept informed of any changes to her care. We can't thank you all enough. Drayton Court is not a care home it's a home that cares.
This care home is extremely supportive of my Mum who has dementia. The food is usually very nice but I feel sometimes they don't encourage drinking. The man who sings here is a friendly entertainer. The rooms are cosy and adequate. Maybe a bit more communication between staff and carers.
Attended the summer Fayre today at Drayton Court and it was so lovely to see all the service users having a great time getting involved with the fundraising. The staff all clubbed together to ensure the day ran smoothly and everyone was involved where possible. The staff were all so attentive to the needs of the service users as well as balancing entertaining the guests visiting the service. Very well organised and a great day had by everyone who attended
My mum has been a resident on Cedar floor since the summer of 2022 after moving from another care home, where we as a family were not happy with their care and interactions with the residents. From the first moment we walked in through the door we knew this place was right for Mum. She immediately settled in and has not asked to be taken home once. The staff are amazing and have got to know Mum's likes and dislikes better than we have. Cedar floor can be the liveliest of the floors at Drayton Court, the staff on this floor never stop but are always willing to help when needed. I believe they would benefit from another pair of hands on this floor, to reduce the workload and stress to these staff as I’d be devastated if any of them left. Mum was recently in hospital, on her return to Drayton she was greeted like she was royalty. I felt I had missed the place, the residents and the staff, and felt she’d come back to her home and not just a care home.
Moving a parent to a care home is such a heartbreaking decision, having said that it was the best decision we could have made. My dad is as happy as he possibly could be for his situation. The care he receives is second to none. The carers are simply amazing, they are so upbeat and so kind and helpful, he is so fond of them all. The management team are very quick to resolve any issues and always so friendly and helpful. When we were looking for a home we were turned down by many homes for his needs being too high, Drayton Court accepted us with open arms and nothing has ever been too much trouble. It has changed our lives as a family, knowing that my dad is safe, warm, very well fed and happy. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
I have been in to see my friend who lives in the lodge household, well what can I say the staff are amazing, nothing is too much bother for any of them, the laughing and the joking and the bond they have with my friend is second to none, the 3 ladies that were working deserve recognition, they treated my friend like a friend, not a resident, I am so proud of each and every one of you, I have never come across such amazing people, so thank you Drayton Court for bringing my best friend of a lifetime back.
To me Drayton Court is not a care home, it's home from home with love, care, respect and dignity for their residents. This is the second care home my mum has come to and the difference in care and attention and hope is second to none, my mum has gained conference, independence and the will to keep going, and that to me is a joy to see. The manager, carers, office staff and cooks, to them, these are not residents they are their family and are respected as such.
Mum/grandma and great grandma has been there for 3 years with excellent personal care and attention with dignity and respect. Enjoyed the activities that have been provided and encouraged with safety all through Covid. The safety and security have been amazing. Cannot complain about the quality of care and service given - lovely, friendly staff and dedicated workers. Always pleasant and gave support throughout and close-knit family home. Been friends and family to Mum throughout her stay.
My mother moved into Drayton Court in July 2022 (3 weeks as of this review). The transition into full-time care is unsettling for sufferers of dementia. This may not always be the case but it certainly has been for my mother. After visiting for the weekend and witnessing caring engagement that is upbeat and positive, and after seeing a clean homely environment, I feel confident she is being well looked after. It's early days but so far Drayton Court is ticking all of the boxes.
My uncle has been a resident at Drayton Court for over two years now. He is very happy and content there. The carers are great with him and also my uncle gets on with them all. I can't fault his care in the home at all but some agency staff are not so good. The home is always very clean and tidy, my uncle's room is always clean and well looked after and I would not like my uncle to be anywhere else and god willing, he will be there for many more years yet. He will be 92-years old this year. Well done to all the staff at Drayton Court.
