View Full Details of Granville HouseWonderful home, been coming 9 years now and cannot fault it. The staff are very friendly and always a lovely welcome. Always smells very fresh and clean. Cannot praise it enough.
On my regular visits to the home, the staff are always caring, considerate, watchful and sympathetic to the needs of the residents. It is easy to discuss any issues relating to my mother-in-law.
I can describe the home as being part of an extended family. I am always welcomed and treated with respect as is my mum. The staff look after her well and are kind and considerate to her needs. The food is always good and plenty of it. The home is always clean and tidy. The staff are amazing.
Staff are friendly and helpful. My godmother says she likes it at Granville. She's made lots of friends and I often find her cracking jokes with staff and residents alike. She always appears washed and clean in herself and her clothes. Staff encourage good eating habits and have helped my godmother maintain much of her independence, which is great.
On our visits staff, very good and helpful. Room, very good and clean. My friend enjoys staying there and happy with the food and service given to her.
Mum is very happy with her care. The staff are caring and attend to all mum's needs. The manager is outstanding and very caring and is always making sure we are happy with the care that is being given to Mum. We would definitely recommend this care home to friends and family.
I have been visiting Granville House since 2017 on a weekly basis. My friend is very well looked after despite being difficult at times. I like the freedom of being able to take her out to the local park, which she loves. New management should enhance the running of this home.
I would like to say how happy we are with the care and support given to my mother-in-law. The new manager is amazing and so caring. Mum is so happy.
Where do I start. Well my grandad was moved here after a short stay in hospital in March this year. The care he received was amazing. The staff became like family as I was there daily to visit. They couldn't do more for my grandad or our family. They work so hard and treat residents with such care and dignity. The place is spotless, great food and entertainment. It generally felt like every member of staff there from the cleaners to the chefs, to the carers genuinely care about their residents and family. My grandad very quickly came to end of life and again they couldn't do more they gave us meals and refreshments and just an ear to listen. Sadly my grandad passed away last night but the staff were on hand to guide and support us. My only wishes are that the staff get more appreciation, support, the right equipment to help manage the residents and more staff from higher management as it's frustrating seeing the daily struggles. Finally I highly recommend this home.
My dad has only been at the care home for a couple of months. My experience of the home and staff so far is excellent. The staff seem to genuinely care and not just for the residents, they care for us the family too. My dad has dementia and doesn’t understand why he’s there, the staff are doing a great job of keeping him active, busy and making him feel useful. I am confident that my dad is in a safe and comfortable place with good quality staff around him.
We as a family feel safe in the knowledge that our uncle is in a safe place and is being cared for with dignity and kindness.
Very pleased and grateful for all the kindness and care given to my husband. We know he is in good hands. Can't comment on value for money as I am not involved in the finance.
My Dad has been a resident at Granville House since August 2015. The staff are friendly and supportive and I feel they treat my Dad with dignity. They keep me informed of any changes relating to my Dad and this is a great reassurance as I don't live locally.
Dads health as a result of the kindness and care improved overnight. He settled in quickly with the staff all showing him the respect he deserves, the care he deserves and the kindness and love to help him to feel at home and safe.
We are extremely pleased that we found Granville for my dad's needs. My dad has dementia, the management and staff have been very accommodating and helpful to myself and my mother, it is very personal, homely and friendly! My dad seems to be content, settled and he enjoys the banter with the staff. We can visit him every day if we wish to! Thank you for making us feel at home!
Mum was a resident at Granville House for just over two years. It's a really lovely care home. Well-run and managed, with professional staff who all genuinely care. Mum was very happy there. She settled in quickly and thrived in the supportive and respectful environment that was provided. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Extremely happy with care provided by dedicated staff. I feel well supported by the manager and her team who have always provided me with honest and accurate information about my husbands care. My grateful thanks to everyone at Granville House.
All of the staff are genuinely caring and work hard to make sure my friend receives good care. They are also very supportive in facilitating virtual contact in-between visits to ensure family contact. Always friendly and professional.
Granville House has recently become home for both my mother and father for completely different care needs. With the opening of Care home visits following the ease of Lockdown restrictions I have been able to visit them both weekly and have always found the staff and management to be extremely helpful, and genuinely care about both of my parents. The Manager and her close team are always fully aware of the needs and limitations both my parents have and I believe are very hands-on in terms of leading the wider Care Home team and building personal relationships with Mum and Dad. My two brothers and the extended family are very aware that Mum and Dad are in the right place having their needs fully supported sympathetically.
My mother recently celebrated her 100th birthday and the home organised a party. This was a very happy and joyful occasion enjoyed by all who came. We are very happy with the care she receives. It gives is peace of mind.
